Starbucks is known for quality coffee drinks and teas, as well as pastries to accompany the java. But, you might not know that they also specialize in creating delectable sandwiches and wraps for reasonable prices that are just as addicting as the coffee for reasonable prices.
Starbucks offers a good variety of sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. They make simple and gourmet items that will keep you coming back, but sometimes it’s hard to choose which one to get.
We rounded up the best Starbucks sandwiches based on factors like size, flavor, and complexity of flavors. Each sandwich had something that stood out amongst the others on the menu.
These sandwiches are also great when reheated.
Check out our list of the best Starbucks sandwiches on the menu!
Turkey, Provolone, & Pesto on Ciabatta
This is my favorite lunch choice at Starbucks!
The Turkey, provolone, and pesto is an easy lunch grab that’s filling and nutritious. It features thick-cut turkey, melted provolone, roasted red peppers, and basil pesto on Starbucks’ ciabatta.
At only 520 calories, this sandwich is light but still gets me through the work day. I love the flavors of pesto and roasted red pepper, and the turkey adds some much needed protein to my lunch break.
Bacon, Gouda & Egg Sandwich
This is, in my opinion, the best breakfast sandwich at Starbucks!
It comes on an artisan roll, which has a nice chewy texture. This is the perfect breakfast sandwich, and the flavors surprise you as you go.
The crispy bacon has a nice texture in contrast with the fluffy egg, and the parmesan cheese pops up in different bites for a pleasant surprise.
The aged gouda has a wonderfully nutty and rich taste that reminds you of butterscotch. This sandwich is a great pick-me-up in the morning when you’re headed to work or school.
Crispy Grilled Cheese on Sourdough
There’s nothing like a delicious grilled cheese.
Starbucks finally added a grilled cheese to their menu, and we couldn’t be happier!
The Starbucks crispy grilled cheese is on their sourdough bread, and it’s made with a blend of white cheddar and mozzarella cheese. It also has a parmesan butter spread that adds some extra delicious rich flavor.
This sandwich is vegetarian and high in protein. At only 520 calories, it’s not a cheat day to enjoy this grilled cheese!
Egg Salad Sandwich
Everyone loves a good egg salad recipe, and this one from Starbucks doesn’t disappoint.
It has the perfect balance of sweetness with a tangy aftertaste. The arugula is slightly bitter, but you don’t notice it because it pairs well with the egg salad.
The chives add a nice crunch to the sandwich, and the thick cider wheat bread adds an exciting flavor. It’s dense but not over the top, and the slight bitterness complements the egg salad.
This sandwich is great for lunch as it’s hearty and filling.
Spinach, Feta & Egg White Wrap
The Spinach, Feta & Egg White Wrap is one of my favorite Starbucks “sandwiches” on the list.
It features an egg white omelet, crumbled feta cheese, spinach, roasted tomatoes, and sundried tomato cream cheese—all tucked into a wheat wrap. This was my lunch for around two weeks straight at one point!
The wheat wrap tasted more like a multigrain flatbread, with a bit of texture. The cream cheese was so flavorful and creamy; it was an excellent base for the other ingredients.
The egg white is fluffy, and the sharp cheese has a slightly salty taste that isn’t too much because of the spinach that served as a buffer.
The roasted tomatoes knock this sandwich out of the park, giving Mediterranean vibes because of the olive oil and tangy bite.
This one is good for breakfast or lunch, but it’s rather filling, so I prefer it for lunch.
Double-Smoked Bacon, Cheddar & Egg Sandwich
Next up is the Double-Smoked Bacon, Cheddar, and Egg Breakfast Sandwich with cheddar, applewood-smoked bacon, and egg on a croissant.
The smokiness and crispiness of the bacon stand out on this sandwich, and the slightly salty aftertaste is incredible with the melty smooth cheddar.
The cheese is sharp but not overpowering, and it was a welcomed contrast to the bacon and gouda sandwich; though, both were delectable.
However, what ties everything together is the buttery croissant, which was super flaky.
It’s not too dense, it feels incredible when you sink your teeth in, and it’s also crispy around the edges—a great breakfast sandwich for a quick bite to give you energy for the day.
Chicken & Bacon on Brioche
Speaking of bacon, you can’t beat this bacon-filled lunch option.
This Starbucks sandwich is made with herbed, slow-cooked chicken and more of that double-smoked bacon from the sandwich above.
To complete the sandwich, they add maple mustard and cheese on toasted apple brioche. This is one of my favorite types of bread for sandwich!
Like the others, you can customize this sandwich to fit your tastes. I like it as it, but sometimes I add some hot sauce!
Sausage, Cheddar & Egg Sandwich
The Sausage, Cheddar & Egg Sandwich is simple and delicious.
The savory sausage patty, aged cheddar cheese, and soft, fluffy eggs sandwiched between an English muffin make for a delightful experience.
I love English muffins, from the taste to the texture, and Starbucks gives you an extra-wide muffin that resembles a Whopper from Burger King. Yes, and yes!
The sausage had a terrific herbaceous flavor that had a hint of salt. It was unique and delicious. The cheese was pungent (in a good way) but balanced out the delicate sausage flavor.
The egg doesn’t have a ton of flavor, but you don’t really need it because of the nuances in the sausage, cheese, and English muffin.
This sandwich is pretty good and larger than some others on the list.
Roasted Tomato & Mozzarella Panini
This sandwich has profound flavors and may constitute a small piece of Italy, thanks to its flavor profile.
The aromatic basil pesto, fresh spinach, mozzarella, and roasted tomatoes remind me of a brunch item I had once in Venice.
For starters, mozzarella doesn’t have the most robust flavor, but the way that it melts and serves as a gooey coating to enhance the other flavors … unmatched!
The sweetness of the roasted tomatoes is shockingly good. What’s more, the pesto provides just the right amount of herbaceous backdrop without dominating the sandwich. But, the ingredient that wins the day is the focaccia roll.
The roll is the perfect mix of soft on the inside and nice and crisp on the outside. It doesn’t get much better than this simple and sophisticated panini.
Chicken BLT Salad Sandwich
This gem of a sandwich combines all the incredible freshness of a salad and infuses it into a sandwich with bacon … the results were amazing.
There’s crispy grilled chicken, roasted tomatoes, bacon, butter lettuce, and lemon pepper mayo stacked onto a harvest wheat bread.
The grilled flavor on the chicken can stand out from the other distinct tastes, which made for a pleasant surprise the first time I tried it. The bacon element offers salt and crunch without going overboard.
The roasted tomatoes and butter lettuce balance out the saltiness while providing their own pop of sweet and fresh flavors.
However, the best part of this sandwich is the lemon pepper mayo, which masterfully ties this sandwich together.
Turkey Bacon, Cheddar & Egg White Sandwich
At times, a healthier food option is what you crave, and suffice it to say that this sandwich meets the mark.
It features smoked turkey bacon, white cheddar cheese, egg whites, and a multigrain English muffin. For starters, there’s a nice amount of flavor packed into this healthy bite of food, even though it’s one of the healthier choices.
The turkey bacon provides texture and a hint of much-needed saltiness. The smoked flavor also adds to the depth of flavors overall. The egg whites are light and have a more subtle flavor, while the cheddar cheese brings an earthy component to the sandwich.
The multigrain English muffin has a great nutty flavor, and it’s enormous. This sandwich is the perfect option, especially when watching your calorie intake.
It’s pretty evident that coffee isn’t the only thing Starbucks does well. Starbucks has delivered quality sandwiches with premium and natural ingredients.
What’s more, the sandwiches are eclectic enough to intrigue people with all different kinds of preferences.
In other words, the menu is sure to have something that catches your attention. You can enjoy these selections at any time of day, though breakfast and lunch are when they really hit the spot.
