If you love coffee, you’ll definitely want to give this flavor a try. Simple ingredients that you can feel good about as you enjoy the perfect combination of creamy and smooth. The coffee in this will give you an energetic buzz, so if you’re sensitive to caffeine, avoid having this at night before bed. Ice cream for breakfast? Yes, please! This flavor is made with extremely rich caramel ice cream with thick swirls of dulce de leche caramel, and it’s absolutely delicious. If you want something sweet and decadent, this is the flavor for you. Just like the chocolate and peanut butter combination, a little goes a long way with this ice cream. As a caramel lover, this is definitely in my top ranking as one of my favorites. I like to crush up pretzels and sprinkle on top for that perfectly sweet & salty combination with a little crunch. Chocolate Peanut Butter

Chocolate and peanut butter ice creams are swirled together in this classic flavor. In one perfect pairing of flavors in ice cream, the Chocolate Peanut Butter ice cream captures the essence of elegance and sophistication. Every spoonful is decadent and creamy. I’ll have to say that this is so rich, that only a few spoonfuls are all I can handle before I have to stop eating it. But there is something so simple and perfect about chocolate and peanut butter together that makes this a perfect indulgence. Ingredients: Chocolate Ice Cream (Cream, Skim Milk, Sugar, Egg Yolks, Chocolate, Cocoa Processed with Alkali); Peanut Butter Swirl (Peanuts, Peanut Oil, Sugar, Salt)
Green Tea

Pleasant, delicious ice cream with moderate bitterness, an appealing green color, and creamy flavor. This Green Tea ice cream is prepared from powdered Japanese matcha green tea, a ceremonial tea cherished for its strong yet delicate essence that has been enhanced with the cream’s richness. The flavor is very concentrated and would pair well after a lovely Japanese meal. Ingredients: Cream, Skim Milk, Cane Sugar, Egg Yolks, Green Tea
Strawberry

Another all-time favorite flavor is strawberry. Haagen-Dazs’ strawberry ice cream is made with real strawberries and cream, and it’s bursting with flavor. It’s the perfect choice for fans of fruity flavors. I was really pleased with the balance of strawberries in this ice cream, which tasted like spring. I adore this straightforward combination with any extras, but hot fudge is the best. Kids especially find this flavor to be appealing, and I saw many parents choosing it. It’s great for the classic banana split or even the old-fashioned neapolitan with chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla ice creams. Ingredients: Cream, Skim Milk, Strawberries, Cane Sugar, Egg Yolks
Vanilla

Vanilla is always a classic choice, and Haagen-Dazs’ vanilla ice cream is no exception. This classic flavor is made with real Madagascar vanilla beans and cream. It’s smooth, rich, and totally delicious. Plus, it goes great with just about anything. When I want the star of the show to be the toppings I select, I go straight for the creamy goodness of the classic vanilla ice cream. This is one of the best Haagen-Dazs menu items due to its simplicity and versatility. The question is how many scoops do you go for? White Chocolate Raspberry Truffle

White chocolate raspberry truffle ice cream is made with white Chocolate ice cream with a raspberry swirl and chocolate truffle pieces. Oh my sweet goodness, this is just one of those ice creams that is hard to put down. The perfect combination of tangy fruit, sweet ice cream, and chocolate. You really can’t go wrong with this ice cream. It’s got everything in it you could want without being overpowering. For me, that’s a big win. Butter Pecan Ice Cream

If you’re looking for a classic butter pecan ice cream, look no further than this flavor. It’s got a rich sweet cream base and tons of buttery crunchy pecans. This would be my top personal favorite of these nut-based ice creams. I adore the pecans in this ice cream and eat this without any extra toppings. It’s so good, it will always rank in my top 5 ice creams. I do feel they could add more pecans in the mix as I tend to like them more than the average person. Ingredients: Cream, Sugar, Lactose Reduced Skim Milk, Egg Yolks, Salt, Vanilla Extract, Skim Milk, Pecans, Corn Syrup, Coconut Oil and Butter (Salt, Cream).
Chocolate

Another classic flavor that’s always a hit is Haagen-Dazs’ chocolate ice cream. This rich and creamy ice cream is made with real Belgian chocolate, and it’s absolutely divine. If you’re a chocoholic, this is the flavor for you. I’m not really a chocolate ice cream fan, but I can certainly understand the appeal for those who just have to have it. It does pair nicely with other flavors though, so it can certainly be used when you’re getting more than one scoop of ice cream. The recipe has remained unchanged since the beginning, and Haagen-Dazs is proud to offer a chocolate ice cream they feel takes you to the next level of chocolate satisfaction. Ingredients: Cream, Skim Milk, Cane Sugar, Cocoa Processed With Alkali, Egg Yolks

This flavor is made with real pistachios and cream, and it’s absolutely divine. The pistachios add a nice crunch to the ice cream, and the flavor is simply heavenly. Ingredients: Cream, Skim Milk, Sugar, Pistachios, Lactose Reduced Skim Milk, Corn Syrup Egg Yolks, Salt, Safflower Oil
Pralines ‘n Cream

A southern favorite, this flavor is made with pecans, caramel, and pralines mixed into a rich vanilla ice cream. With a higher cream and fat content, this ice cream is extra rich and extra creamy. I definitely ate a lot of this flavor of ice cream, it was that good! Unfortunately, this particular ice cream, while amazing and very popular, has been discontinued. They are always striving for the next best and unique flavor. Let’s hope it’s as amazing as this one was. Ingredients: Cream, concentrated skim milk, sugar, caramel sauce (sweetened condensed skim milk, sugar, corn syrup, water, butter, salt, pectin, vanilla extract, sodium bicarbonate), praline pecans (sugar, pecans, butter, salt, corn syrup), liquid egg yolk, vanilla extract
Rum Raisin Ice Cream

The Rum Raisin ice cream is a classic flavor that everyone should try at least once. It’s made with plump, delicious, juicy rum-soaked California raisins mixed into a sweet plain ice cream. The raisins add a lovely sweetness and the rum gives it a kick that takes this flavor to the next level. It’s the perfect way to try out something new. It’s probably best to leave this for the grown-ups. I did find this particular ice cream to be a bit icier than some of the others, so I wouldn’t say it was super creamy. However, the flavor was good, and it’s still a great rum raisin ice cream choice. Ingredients: Cream, Skim Milk, Cane Sugar, Raisins, Egg Yolks, Rum
After a month break, I started to purchase again this ice cream brand, BUT something has changed, it’s not as creamy as it used to be. It seems like the milk used has been downgraded, it contains too much water. My mouth is full of layers of ice?!
Tried to contact the official website, but to no avail.
Vanilla Swiss Almond, all the way, all day long!
Where is vanilla chocolate chip? Stores don’t have it! Has this traditional and popular flavor been abandoned again in the pursuit of some more “with it” concoctions?
“Double Belgian Chocolate Chip flavor is phenomenal. Stores in New York City
can’t keep this on the shelves. Rich, delicious
chocolate, not watered down, and the chips taste
as if they’ve come from a chocolatier.
Haven’t tried them all, but Bourbon Praline Pecan and Macadamia Brittle are my favorites!
Dear Erin,
I am sorry that you put so much work into this and got it so wrong. It’s okay though… I am here to help 🙂
Pineapple Coconut is not only the best HD flavor, it is the best ice cream on earth. If anyone reading this isn’t currently eating it then they are not living their best life.
You’re Welcome,
David
100% the Vanilla Chocolate Chip!! The Best!
Aren’t they making the triple flavors anymore? I’ve been I’ll for a number of months and was anticipating my favorite ice cream of all time! The triple chocolate with semi sweet chocolate layers and white chocolate ice cream!! Absolutely amazing and well worth the wait. I didn’t see any of the chocolate layered ice creams!! I’m unbelievably disappointed!!
The pineapple coconut doesn’t seem to be making any of the lists, and maybe not enough people are trying it! I know not everyone is a fan of coconut texture, but that’s the beauty of this flavor.. that’s all it is! There are no coconut shavings at all! It’s my absolute favorite, in fact I’m eating it as a type! I am trying as many HD flavors as possible lately (none have disappointed, btw) but nothing seems to beat the creamy, subtle taste of coconut ice cream with just the correct amount of slightly crunchy pineapple chunks perfectly pieced throughout.
Let’s put it this way- I am so addicted that I eat one of these 14 FL OZ containers each night in my bed before lights out… because it is the perfect ending to any day!
Do yourself a favor, treat yourself to one of these bad boys and as long as you’re a fan of pineapple I swear it will not disappoint!
Thank me later 😉
I love the Banana Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip!! I could eat it everyday! Yum!
