If you’ve never had the pleasure of enjoying a slice of Marco’s pizza, I’m here to tell you how yummy their food is.

I am a softie for any rich Italian food. And Italian food is meant to be served in massive portions, which Marco’s delivers on. I mean, who wants a mini calzone when you can have a full-sized one?
From decadent desserts to refreshing salads to bold Italian sub sandwiches, Marco’s has more to offer than just pizza.
Best Marco’s Pizza Menu Items
So if you want to try a wonderful Italian spot that you can find in almost any US state, check out my review of the best Marco’s Pizza menu items. Take my word for it, you will not regret trying their food!
All Meat Pizza
For those of you that can’t turn down a meat pizza, you’re going to love Marco’s All Meat Pizza.
The pizza has a thick and soft crust with pepperoni, ham, Italian sausage, bacon, Marco’s original tomato sauce, and the signature three kinds of cheese.
As much as I would love to tell you all what their signature cheese blend is, it’s a well-kept Marco’s secret.
If you are hungry and want something that will satisfy the carnivore within you, you cannot go wrong with their meat pizza.
I’m a veggie-lover, but even I have to admit it’s hard to turn down a slice of this meaty monstrosity.
Italiano Sub
Italian subs are a classic lunch or dinner item that, in my opinion, can either be heavenly and delicious or a sopping mess.
Luckily, Marco’s knows what they’re doing. First off, the sub is massive, so don’t worry about getting a side of chips or French fries, because you will not be hungry after this sub.
It comes piled high with ham, salami, cheese, banana peppers, tomatoes, onions, and Marco’s sub sandwich dressing.
All of the veggies are fresh, and the slices of meat are beyond deli-quality. The delicious ingredients come on a toasted sub roll, offering the perfect ratio of bread to meat.
After all, nothing is worse than eating a sub and feeling like your just chewing on a baguette.
Veggie Sub
Once again, the crew in Marco’s kitchen knows how to make a tasty sub.
Each sandwich is crafted with care and attention to detail, so you’re satisfied with your food every time.
Unfortunately, the veggie sub is not available at all Marco’s locations, so check your local store before you get too excited.
The veggie sub came with tomato slices, cheddar cheese, black olives, red onions, green peppers, mushrooms, and their signature submarine sandwich.
The sandwich comes on an Italian white roll and offers a fresh taste but still fills you up! I added some hot sauce to mine, which kicked it up a notch. So if you like a little heat, I highly recommend a few dashes of Tobasco.
Chicken Bacon Onion Calzone
Chicken, bacon, and onion are already an incredible combination, but stuff it all into a cheesy calzone, and what do you have? Perfection.
This calzone was hands down my favorite menu item at Marco’s because the flavor was out of this world.
Calzones are not available at all Marco’s locations, so check your local Marco’s before heading over this ooey-gooey dish.
The calzone features Marco’s handmade dough stuffed with premium grilled chicken, crispy bacon, onions, and the signature three-cheese blend.
The dough is soft and thick without being too doughy, and the chicken and bacon are perfectly cooked. I dipped the calzone in Marco’s Bleu cheese dipping sauce, which I urge you to do!
Chicken Caesar Salad
Who doesn’t love a classic caesar salad?
Caesar salad is one of my favorite meals, and Marco offers a great version. The salad comes with a fresh-cut lettuce blend, grilled chicken, parmesan cheese, and crunchy croutons.
The grilled chicken strips are fat and juicy and have a beautiful char on the outside that makes them delectable. The croutons have a bold Italian flavor and are super crunchy making.
The main takeaway from the salad is the dressing, but I urge you to get it on the side. Their Caesar dressing is wonderful, creamy, and briny while still light. But, Marco’s crew tends to be a bit heavy-handed when they dress the salad.
So unless you like Caesar soup, I recommend asking for the dressing on the side.
Deluxe Pizza
Alright, now it’s time to talk about the ultimate pizza from Marco’s.
Their deluxe pizza features pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, onions, red sauce, and the signature three kinds of cheese.
This pizza is a crossover between the all meat pizza and their garden pizza, so now you can have the best of both worlds in one pizza box!
I would say this was my favorite slice of pizza from Marco’s because it had everything I could want.
Italian Chef Salad
Any Italian eatery worth its salt has to have an Italian chef salad.
The chef’s salad at Marco’s comes with fresh-cut lettuce blend, ham, salami, cheese, sliced tomatoes, onions, and croutons. Italian chef salads aren’t my favorite; something about ham in a salad isn’t my thing. However, I did appreciate this salad.
The leafy greens were fresh and crisp and balanced well with the toppings. No one wants a bowl of lettuce with a few pieces of ham and veggies and two croutons.
But a salad that is 60% toppings and 40% greenery is still no good. Marco’s achieves the perfect balance between the lettuce blend and the toppings on an Italian chef’s salad.
Meatball Bake
The meatball bake is another item not available at all of Marco’s locations.
But if you’re lucky enough to have your local Marco’s offer it, I highly suggest you give it a try. It comes with Italian sausage, meatballs, signature Marco’s red sauce, and shaved parmesan cheese, plus their three-cheese blend.
My only complaint is I always like my Italian bakes to feature some pasts.
So, where are my carbs?
Despite this, the flavor is on point, and the meal is quite filling. I’m just a sucker for some penne or ziti and feel like this dish would be perfect with a layer of pasta underneath the meatballs.
Mushroom Pizza
I love mushrooms, so I was super excited to try Marco’s mushroom pizza.
This pizza is super simple. It is essentially the plain cheese pizza but with a bunch of crimini mushrooms that have been sauteed and then roasted in the oven.
While, yes, the ingredients of the cheese pizza are almost the same, this pizza perfectly highlights the earthy and robust flavor of mushrooms.
The mushrooms are left sliced, so they’re rather large, but mixed into the sauce and the cheese, so every bite features a yummy mushroom flavor.
I hate a pizza that when you pick up a slice all the toppings topple off, but Marco’s pizza is much better than that.
Pepperoni Calzone
The pepperoni calzone is a rather simple dish.
It is their handmade dough folded over a plethora of pepperoni and, of course, their three-cheese signature blend.
If you’re a pepperoni fiend, you’ll fall in love with how much meat comes in this calzone. One of the best things about calzone from Marco’s is the seasoning that they put on the top.
It combines garlic salt and Italian seasoning, adding a whole new level of flavor to the crust.
Quite honestly, I would happily eat Marco’s pizza crust with nothing else! But the pepperoni adds a delicious saltiness that always leaves you wanting more.
Steak and Cheese Sub
Steak and cheese subs are one of my favorite types of sandwiches to get.
The umami of shaved beef with the gooiness of melted cheese is a brilliant combo. It is so simple yet so incredibly delicious. Marco’s makes a mean steak and cheese sub, and I promise you will not be disappointed!
Now, in my opinion, all you need for a successful steak and cheese is bread, steak, and cheese. But Marco’s kicks it up a notch, throwing in some mayo for flavor and texture and some mushrooms to add to the decadent flavor.
And of course, it features their secret three-cheese blend, perfectly melted into the other ingredients. All of this comes on a crispy, toasted white submarine roll.
Cheese Pizza
Unfortunately, I still cannot report on what Marco’s three cheese blend consists of, but I can report that their cheese pizza is fabulous.
I usually sneer at those that don’t go crazy with toppings on their pizza, but you have to respect how good Marco’s plain pizza is. It must be their secret cheese blend!
The pizza has their handmade dough and their signature sauce that has a robust and slightly sweet tomato flavor that pairs perfectly with the garlicky crust.
I recommend dipping it in their creamy ranch dressing if you want to add a lighter flavor to balance out the bold Italian taste.
Double Chocolate Brownie
Did I have room for a double chocolate brownie after eating a whole sub? No.
Did I still enjoy these double chocolate brownies? Absolutely! Marco’s knows what they’re doing when it comes to casual Italian food, but they are no slouch in the dessert department either.
These brownies have a nice crunch on the sides but are super soft and thick in the middle.
Marco’s warms up the brownies for you, so the chocolate melts in your mouth immediately, sending you straight to dessert heaven.
And to add to the decadence, they drizzle a Ghiradelli chocolate sauce on top. For all you chocolate lovers, make sure you save room for this rich brownie!
Garden Pizza
For all my veggie lovers, this garden pizza is a fantastic combination of sauce and veggies.
Marco’s puts mushrooms, black olives, onions, sliced tomatoes, Marco’s sauce, and the signature three-cheese, plus feta cheese!
The feta brings the pizza together because it lightens the flavor and adds a creamy texture that complements the roasted vegetables.
Sometimes veggie pizzas can be bland or watery because they don’t properly cook their vegetables, but Marco’s pizza is different.
It combines a crunchy texture on top with delicate dough. Both the veggies and the sauce are well-seasoned and complement each other well.
