The Most Popular Menu Items at Cinnabon

There’s no sweeter memory than stepping into a shopping mall and instantly smelling the scent of cinnamon hanging in the air. For many of us, Cinnabon has been a staple since it rose to popularity in the 1990s.

Even nowadays, you can smell the familiar cinnamon sugar scent in venues ranging from shopping centers to airports.

Cinnabon is one of my go-to places when I’m craving a sweet, sticky cinnamon roll in the morning—or at night, or any other time of day. I’ve also come to appreciate some of their other menu items, such as their signature coffee or their frozen lemonade selection.

Read on to learn more about the best Cinnabon menu items, whether you’re looking for something sweet or want some coffee to start your day off with a kick.

I’ll tell you everything you need to know about ordering the best drinks and the best food at Cinnabon.

Classic Roll

The Classic Roll is Cinnabon’s signature menu item, and there’s a good reason it’s one of their best-sellers.

This roll is melt-in-your-mouth soft, topped with a sweet cream cheese frosting that boasts a slight zing of lemon.

What stands out the most, though, is Cinnabon’s trademark Makara cinnamon. Imported from Indonesia, this unique variety of cinnamon has a bold flavor and sweetness that lends cinnamon buns their world-famous flavor.

A Cinnabon Classic Roll is about the size of a softball, so you know you’re getting your money’s worth when ordering.

It’s big enough to split with a friend if you want—though I’m not usually inclined to share mine.

Caramel Pecanbon

If you’re a fan of caramel, you can order Cinnabon’s Classic Roll with an exciting twist.

The Caramel Pacanbon shares the same delicious recipe with its classic cousin, but instead of plain cream cheese frosting, the roll is topped with melted caramel and chopped pecans.

The Caramel Pecanbon is a popular alternative to the Classic Roll for anyone looking for something a little bit sweeter.

I sometimes prefer it for the additional crunch that the pecans add to the buttery texture of the bun.

If you find the Pecanbon a little too sweet for you, pairing it with black coffee can help to balance out the flavor.

The extra nuttiness makes it a particularly good choice alongside your morning pick-me-up.

Cinnamon Roll Cold Brew Iced Coffee

One of the best Cinnabon menu items for coffee lovers is their cinnamon roll-flavored iced coffee.

Next to their standard coffee, it’s one of the most popular brews available from Cinnabon.

This drink seamlessly blends Arabica cold brew with classic Cinnabon roll flavors such as Makara cinnamon to create a beverage that’s sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.

I love the Cinnamon Roll Cold Brew Iced Coffee when I’m in the mood for a cinnamon roll but don’t want to spoil my next meal.

It tastes exactly like a Classic Roll in liquid form, so I get the fix I’m looking for without the full stomach.

CinnaSweeties

For those times when you want a taste of Cinnabon but can’t commit to an entire roll, CinnaSweeties offer a tasty compromise.

These mini donut holes are fluffy, buttery, and small enough to eat in a single bite.

Each one is rolled in a rich Makara cinnamon sugar blend to give you a classic Cinnabon flavor in a snack-sized package.

If you’re a fan of classic roll’s frosting, CinnaSweeties come with a cream cheese sauce for dipping. As a frosting-lover myself, I love having the power to add as much as I want to each bite.

Coffee

If you’re looking for a no-frills cup of coffee, you can get a surprisingly good cup of joe at Cinnabon.

Their standard hot coffee uses high-quality Arabica to achieve a smooth, robust brew with plenty of flavors.

Though I prefer a little bit of flavor in my coffee, I find that Cinnabon’s Hot Coffee hits just right when I’m in the mood for a plain black cup.

It’s not overly bitter and contains sweet notes that pair well with Cinnabon’s classic menu items.

I prefer to drink my coffee with a side of CinnaSweeties on hand. It’s the perfect wake-up call for those mornings when you want to treat yourself.

Double Chocolate Mocha Chillatta

This is a tasty take on Cinnabon’s flagship beverage, the Mochalatta Chill. It’s the perfect choice for chocolate lovers as well as coffee lovers.

It contains even more cocoa than its parent drink, giving you your chocolate fix for the day.

The Double Chocolate Mocha Chillatta is simply a frozen Mochalatta Chill blended with rich Ghirardelli chocolate for an incredibly sweet, smooth, and refreshing drink.

It comes topped with whipped cream and drizzled chocolate sauce for even more decadence.

If you’re looking to cut back on sweetness or calories, you can order the Double Chocolate Mocha Chillatta without any whipped cream or chocolate sauce on top.

Frozen Lemonade

When summertime rolls around, there’s nothing more refreshing than a sip of lemonade.

Cinnabon takes things one step further with their frozen lemonade.

Instead of pouring fresh-squeezed lemonade over ice, Cinnabon’s Frozen Lemonade uses frosty blended ice to create a refreshing, almost creamy drink.

I find that Cinnabon’s frozen lemonade can sometimes taste a little bit tart, especially when paired with sweeter menu offerings.

You may want to add a packet or two of sugar to your drink to sweeten it up if you find the lemon to be just a little bit too mouth-puckering.

MochaLatta Chill

The MochaLatta Chill is Cinnabon’s flagship drink and one of their most popular beverage options.

The recipe is specially designed to pair with Cinnabon’s signature Classic Roll, though you can’t go wrong with other menu items such as CinnaSweeties or even a Caramel Pecanbon.

The MochaLatta Chill combines iced coffee and creamy chocolate for an irresistible treat that any coffee lover is sure to enjoy.

Though not as chocolatey as the Double Chocolate Mocha Chillatta, the Mochalatta contains just the right amount of cocoa to satisfy your sweet tooth.

I prefer the MochaLatta Chill when I want to pair my drink with other menu items.

The cocoa flavor is subtle enough that it won’t overpower other flavors such as cinnamon or caramel.

Strawberries & Cream Chillatta

If chocolate isn’t your favorite flavor, you can opt for something a little bit fruitier with the Strawberries & Cream Chillatta.

Like the Double Chocolate Mocha option, this drink is inspired by the original MochaLatta Chill.

A blend of cream and fresh strawberries offers up a bright, refreshing alternative to Cinnabon’s chocolate and vanilla drink options.

It’s topped with a generous dollop of whipped cream and strawberry syrup for an even fruitier flavor.

I love the berry taste of this drink combined with the Makara cinnamon flavor in Cinnabon’s food offerings. The sweet cream pairs especially well with a Caramel Pecanbon.

Vanilla Cold Brew Frozen Coffee

For fans of frozen coffee, you can’t go wrong with Cinnabon’s Vanilla Cold Brew Frozen Coffee.

Their famous signature cold brew comes iced and whipped with a splash of vanilla flavoring for a smooth yet sweet drink.

Unlike their iced coffee, Cinnabon’s frozen coffee contains crushed ice. It lends an almost creamy texture to the drink.

With the vanilla in play, it’s a sweet yet refreshing beverage that’s delicious at any time of day.

To bring out even more vanilla flavor, pair this drink with one of Cinnabon’s classic cinnamon rolls or CinnaSweeties.

I find that the vanilla complements the Makara cinnamon to give an even more decadent drinking experience.

Cold Brew Iced Coffee

Cinnabon’s Cold Brew Iced Coffee is one of my favorite morning drinks on warm days.

It’s a cool, refreshing alternative to their hot coffee options and is made from the same high-quality Arabica beans

The Cold Brew Iced Coffee comes in a choice of two flavors, including plain vanilla and cinnamon roll. I’m partial to the cinnamon roll flavor, as it tastes exactly like Cinnabon’s classic offering.

This iced coffee comes topped with whipped cream and melted caramel.

While this adds some extra sweetness and nuttiness to the drink, you can skip this if you’re looking to cut back on the calories.

Classic Lemonade

Cinnabon’s Classic Lemonade is a delicious blend of sweet and sour served up icy cold. It’s the perfect afternoon refresher on a hot day.

The lemonade comes fresh-squeezed, putting it a cut above a lot of other fast food lemonade options.

I prefer sweet over sour, and I sometimes find Cinnabon’s classic lemonade to be a little bit too tart for my tastes.

It’s easy to sweeten up with a packet of sugar or artificial sweetener if you want to take some of the bite out of your glass.

Ghirardelli Hot Cocoa

If you’re looking for a hot beverage but aren’t a big fan of coffee, Cinnabon makes a delicious cup of hot chocolate.

When the months start getting colder, there’s no better treat than a cup of piping hot cocoa paired with a cinnamon roll fresh out of the oven.

Cinnabon makes its cocoa using fine Ghirardelli chocolate for a rich, creamy flavor. If you want to add some extra depth, you can order a cinnamon hot chocolate for some extra Makara flavor in your cup.

A cup of Cinnabon Ghirardelli Hot Chocolate comes covered in a generous dollop of whipped cream. It’s also drizzled in dark chocolate sauce for even more cocoa flavor.

Oreos & Cream Chillatta

The Oreos & Cream Chillatta is yet another delicious variation of the original Mochalatta.

It brings to mind flavors of fresh cookies and milk, making it a great choice when you’re looking for something comforting.

Instead of cocoa or strawberries, this Chilatta mixes chunks of oreo and cream along with a drizzle of chocolate.

The drink is topped with whipped cream and sprinkled with even more oreo chunks for some added crunch.

I prefer to enjoy this drink on its own to get the most cookie flavor out of it. However, the Oreos & Cream Chilatta also pairs well with menu options such as CinnaSweeties.

Raspberry Lemonade

Fruit fans are sure to enjoy Cinnabon’s Raspberry Lemonade.

Their classic lemonade comes infused with a vibrant raspberry flavor to give you a bright, fruity treat at any time of day.

Cinnabon’s raspberry lemonade is served cold, making it a refreshing summertime beverage.

It’s fairly tart, but thanks to the raspberry, it pairs well with cinnamon flavoring in most of Cinnabon’s food options.

If it’s too sour for your tastes, try adding a pinch of sugar to sweeten it up.

When you’re looking to treat yourself to something sticky and sweet, there are few better places to go than Cinnabon. They have so much more to offer than just their classic cinnamon rolls, from snack-sized CinnaSweeties to refreshing iced coffees and cold brews.

Cinnabon boasts an almost overwhelming number of menu options, which can make it tough to order the right dish.

If you’re not sure where to start, you can’t go wrong with any of the choices that I’ve laid out above. Whenever you’re craving something sweet, the best Cinnabon menu items are always sure to satisfy.
