Order of Pad Thai at Pei Wei Restaurant

I love Asian food. Something about the flavors and textures makes my taste buds happy. I love the combination of spices and sweetness. I certainly can get my carb craving in by way of perfectly cooked rice or thick noodles. Pei Wei has all that and more on the menu!

Best Pei Wei Menu Items

I’ve been to many different Pei Wei restaurants and have tried several menu items. They have salads, soups, rice dishes, and noodles.

Out of all the things I’ve tried, here are my top Pei Wei food items. I am sure you will have a favorite once you taste it.

Thai Dynamite

Thai food is one of my favorite cuisines, so I am glad there are a few options at Pei Wei.

I love the Thai Dynamite dish at Pei Wei. The tofu is so delicious and wok-seared with a bunch of yummy ingredients.

I always get it with the Sriracha chili soy sauce, and it packs a punch.

The dish is also pretty healthy, with only 890 calories. The chef prepares the dish by wok-searing spicy tofu with onions, red bell peppers, scallions, and basil.

They make the dish even better by tossing everything in a Sriracha chili sauce. I certainly recommend this dish if you want a spicy vegetarian dish!

Signature Lettuce Wraps

I was initially not interested in the concept of a lettuce wrap since I wasn’t sure how it would taste.

But after trying out Pei Wei’s Signature Lettuce Wraps, I was won over. The lettuce wraps are so fresh and tasty.

The lettuce is always crisp, and the chicken is so juicy. I love that they give you a variety of sauces to choose from as well.

The Signature Lettuce Wraps come with marinated chicken, shitake mushrooms and onions, and crispy rice noodles.

I usually order them with peanut sauce, which is good. It is one of my favorite options for lunch since it is healthy but filling.

Hot and Sour Soup

I never get tired of getting soup! Hot and sour soup is a common staple at many Asian restaurants – and for good reason.

It is so flavorful and delicious. Pei Wei’s take on this soup is fabulous. The broth has a perfect consistency, and the sourness is perfect.

They give you a lot of mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and tofu in the soup.

The Hot and Sour Soup at Pei Wei contains pork, wood ear mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and tofu. This soup is perfect if you want something light but flavorful.

It also does not have too many calories, with only 200 per serving. It is a nice choice for a light meal or a satisfying appetizer with an entree.

Firecracker Chicken

I love chicken dishes, especially spicy ones. The Firecracker Chicken at Pei Wei is one of my favorite dishes. The chicken is so crispy and it’s tossed in a flavorful sauce.

The blend of sweet and spicy is simply perfect. I always get it with the white rice and it’s a great combination. The firecracker name is certainly fitting since it makes the taste buds go crazy.

The Firecracker Chicken at Pei Wei is made with chicken, onions, and red bell peppers. It comes in a chili sauce and is served with white rice.

This dish has about 1090 calories, so it is a hearty meal. It is perfect if you want something spicy and filling.

Spicy General Tso’s

General Tso’s Chicken is a mainstay on Chinese restaurant menus, and for good reason. I tried this dish for the first time at Pei Wei and it did not disappoint.

It is a flavorful dish with a perfect level of spiciness. I always get it with the white rice and it’s fantastic.

The Spicy General Tso’s at Pei Wei is made with crispy chicken, red bell peppers, carrots, and scallions.

All of this delicious meat and veggies get tossed in a Sriracha sesame sauce. Chili flakes and paste add a real kick to the sauce.

It only has 805 calories in this dish. It is the perfect Asian chicken dish to try.

Asian Chopped Chicken Salad

I love a good salad and Asian Chopped Chicken Salad is one of my favorites. The salad is healthy with only 660 calories.

The hand-pulled chicken is also really tender and juicy. Plenty of fresh greens and a delicious sesame ginger dressing make this salad a winner.

All the veggies are fresh and tasty. I can tell Pei Wei only uses veggies that are in season.

One of the best pasts of the salad is the crispy wontons. The salad always makes for a good meal. I enjoy it for lunch or dinner and sometimes pair it with some wonton soup.

Wonton Soup

I am yet to find someone that does not like wonton soup. When you taste the wonton soup at Pei Wei, you will love this soup even more.

I love that Pei Wei uses steamed chicken dumplings in their wonton soup. This is a nice chance since wonton soup often uses pork or meatless wontons.

The savory broth consists of chicken broth, lemongrass, basil, and scallions. It is perfect for a cold day or when you are not feeling well.

The soup is also very gentle on my waistline since it only has 70 calories in a cup or 140 calories in a bowl.

Chicken Pad Thai

Pad Thai is one of my favorite dishes of all time. I always order it at Thai restaurants and now I can add PeiWei’s Pad Thai to my list of favorites.

I am very picky about my pad thai because I eat it so often. The pad thai at Pei Wei comes with steamed white meat chicken, bean sprouts, rice noodles, eggs, and scallions.

The sweet and sour sauce has a nice taste and is not overpowering like at some restaurants.

I often add tofu to this dish to make it more filling.

The Chicken Pad Thai at Pei Wei has 1070 calories and is a great meal if you are wanting something heavier.

Spicy Korean BBQ Steak

There is nothing like some good Korean BBQ. The Spicy Korean BBQ Steak at Pei Wei is one of my favorites.

I love the marinade and they cook the grass-fed steak to perfection by searing it in a wok. Garlic, onions, cauliflower, and red bell peppers give the dish a ton of flavor.

When I feel like meat, this is my go-to-dish at Pei Wei.

The Spicy Korean BBQ Steak has 780 calories and is a great option if you desire something tasty but light. The dish also contains 35 grams of protein.

Thai Coconut Curry Chicken

When I saw Thai Coconut Curry Chicken on the menu at Pei Wei, I got excited because it combines some of my favorite things – curry, chicken, and coconut.

Once I tasted the dish for the first time, I knew it would be a regular order. The coconut milk and curry sauce give the chicken a delicious flavor and fill me up.

It tastes like it should have more calories, but luckily there are only 640 of them. I love broccoli and am so glad that it is in this dish.

The garlic comes out perfectly. I can’t get enough of this dish.

Sweet & Sour Chicken

Sweet & sour chicken has always been one of my favorite dishes since childhood.

I always love to see how different restaurants make it. Pei Wei’s sweet and sour chicken delights me to no end. I like that they use a tempura batter which coats the chicken well.

Tempura chicken is one of my favorites, so it delights my taste buds whenever I have it.

You can also taste some ginger and pineapple. These classic flavors all come together well with the tempura. The dish has 980 calories, but it is worth it.

I often order this dish when I feel like something heartier.
