I adore Chai tea lattes, especially when I’m down in the dumps and need a perky drink to brighten my day!

I’ve tried every Starbucks Chai formula, including secret recipes and customized Chai drinks.

This article sums up my experience of my favorite delicious beverage at Starbucks, including the sweet, spicy, hot, cold, and seasonal varieties, allowing you to get the best bang for your buck at Starbucks.

Try these chai tea drinks at Starbucks for some spicy fall flavor!

Chai Tea Latte

The Chai Tea Latte is an excellent drink that’s perfect for cold and hot days.

The taste is delicious, whether warm or iced. However, you may want to elevate the flavor by giving it some vanilla shots.

Even though this drink costs just as much as a specialty coffee, it’s one of my favorite Starbucks drinks.

Chai Tea Latte is the go-to beverage for when you want to indulge in something sweet and lightly spiced with a combination of cardamom, black pepper, cloves, ginger, and cinnamon. The spice makes it a great fall drink!

It’s suitable for individuals who don’t like overly sweet drinks, allowing you to taste the afternotes of bitterness.

The highlight of Chai Tea Latte is its ability to customize it in many ways.

Chai Tea

This drink is authentic Chai in its most basic form. Chai Tea is suitable for individuals who aren’t interested in the bells and whistles and just want some simple black tea.

Chai Tea has various strength levels, and the longer you steep the leaves, the harder the brew. Moreover, the tea features a mix of flavors, some more pronounced than others.

Every Chai type still contains a staple combo of ingredients, including black pepper, cinnamon, and ginger, for that authentic spicy flavor.

Starbucks’ chai also has star anise and cardamom essence to spice things up!

Chai Creme Frappuccino

On a hot day, sometimes you just want something smooth and creamy as a special treat.

The Chai Creme Frappuccino certainly does that very well! It’s a blend of chai, milk, and ice, whipped together to create one of Starbucks’ signature frappuccino drinks

You can add whipped cream and cinnamon to the top of this drink or opt out if you want to cut down on calories.

The best time for a Chai Frappuccino is midday when you feel lethargic and need a boost to get you through your day.

Iced Chai Latte

There’s a reason the Chai Latte comes hot and cold; each offers unique flavors inspired by the temperature!

Both feature similar ingredients, yet the Iced Chai Latte is steadily taking the spotlight at Starbucks, especially during summer.

You can’t fault the combination of ice with chai concentrate and milk that offers a delicious taste in every sip.

Still, the grande size beverage only has 95 mg of caffeine, making it an excellent tea at the start of a particularly hot morning.

What I adore about this chai drink is how simple it is to make at home. If you want an exciting twist, order it with Vanilla Cream Cold Foam!

Chai Frappuccino

Frappe lovers will go crazy for the Chai Frappuccino. It isn’t exactly my favorite beverage, but this is an excellent escape route for people who want a drink without the overwhelming taste of coffee.

The difference between creme frappuccinos and regular frappuccinos at Starbucks is their base; creme frappuccinos are made with a milk base, while regular frappuccinos have a coffee base and more caffeine.

Luckily, if you’re not a huge fan of coffee’s flavor, adding some chai to this drink will cover up most of it!

Like the Chai Creme Frappuccino, this drink is smooth and icy, going down just as well. If you like your chai frappe with a little more caffeine, go for the Chai Frappuccino!

Pumpkin Patch Latte

The Pumpkin Patch Latte is a Starbucks special exclusively for the initiated.

It’s like a change in the seasons, letting you know summer is fast fading and the kids are going back to school.

As you’d imagine, the heartwarming Iced Green Tea Latte combines with the classic pumpkin spice to give you a marriage made in heaven!

The Pumpkin Patch Latte has a special recipe that includes the Iced Green Tea Latte, pumpkin spice sauce, white mocha, and pumpkin spice topping.

If you want a unique twist on a seasonal favorite, look no further than the Pumpkin Patch Latte!

Gingerbread Cookie Latte

The Gingerbread Cookie Latte is another holiday special you can request during Fall.

It’s a great beverage featuring all the holiday spices I love, like cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

All the spices combine to give this drink that delightful gingerbread scent that stirs up nostalgic memories!

Interestingly, it contains no gingerbread but does include a dash of whipped cream.

This beverage is right up your street if you’re on the hunt for a hint of spice with undernotes of deliciousness.

Gingerbread Cookie is a combination of the Chai Tea Latte, Gingerbread Syrup, Molasses drizzle, and whipped cream.

Cha Cha Latte

Matcha Green Tea and Chai look like an unlikely combo many tea lovers will question, but the flavors dovetail harmoniously.

Hibiscus Tea is the star ingredient in this show, with sidekicks like espresso shots, non-fat milk, and mocha sauce.

The Cha Cha Latte is the drink of choice for people looking for a fruity treat with a punchy sweet taste.

The bright flavors aren’t unlike raspberry hot chocolate, featuring a unique blend of sweet and fresh.

I like this beverage because of how easy it is on the stomach. It’s an excellent choice for latte lovers that suffer from ulcers or acid reflux.

Eggnog Latte

Unfortunately, the Eggnog Latte no longer features on Starbucks’ official menu, following the discontinuation of the Gingerbread Latte.

However, you can still enjoy this Christmas Special with some improvisation.

Starbucks has a secret roster with an array of drinks you won’t see on the regular menu. You can use the ingredients therein to craft the Eggnog Latte.

Order a Chai Tea Latte with caramel syrup before topping with a light sprinkle of cinnamon sugar to create the Eggnog Latte.

You can replace Chai Tea Latte with Iced Chai Tea Latte if you enjoy the frozen version.

Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte

Pumpkin Spice Chai Tea Latte is arguably the most popular Chai drink, especially in season.

The infusion of pumpkin spice makes this beverage decadent on the tongue with a deliciousness that makes all my hairs stand on end.

It’s a drink for pumpkin spice lovers, Chai enthusiasts, and tea drinkers. The Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte makes its appearance at Starbucks every August end.

Espresso enthusiasts savor the pumpkin flavors via the Pumpkin Spice Latte, while tea lovers get the Pumpkin Spice Chai Latte.

Both are incredibly popular, but I favor the former because of my fondness for tea.

Apple Pie Frappuccino

The Apple Pie Frappuccino is another Starbucks secret recipe popular in Fall.

You shouldn’t get on your bike to Starbucks just yet because you need to hand over the recipe to the barista

There’s a possibility you won’t find the ingredients at a few Starbuck locations. When you order Chai Frappuccino, simply replace the milk with apple juice.

This may seem like a strange combination, but I promise the spices of chai and apple juice are amazing together!

Top the beverage with cinnamon, caramel sauce, whipped cream, and chestnut praline sprinkles. Voila! Your Apple Pie Frappuccino is ready.

Replace milk with steamed apple juice if you prefer a hot chai drink.

White Chocolate Cinnamon Chai Latte

The White Chocolate Cinnamon Chai Latte starts with a Chai Latte base before including an infusion of cinnamon and chocolate.

It’s a fairytale beverage that’s exotic, rich, decadent, and indulgent. If you need a warm and satisfying pick-me-up during the day, you’ll want to look no further than this incredible drink.

In truth, this drink bears remarkable similarity with Pumpkin Spice Latte but substitutes pumpkin sauce with White Chocolate Mocha sauce.

You’ll also want to add some Cinnamon Dolce Syrup for extra spice.

Dirty Chai Tea Latte

The dirty version of the Chai Tea Latte injects a shot of espresso into the cup, giving it an extra jolt of caffeine and the signature bitterness of coffee.

This Chai beverage has grown in leaps and bounds, with celebrities like Khloe Kardashian and Oprah Winfrey known for enjoying a cup or two!

Dirty Chai is blissful and one you can’t afford to miss! It has a robust mouthfeel and earthiness that makes me smack my lips at every sip!

When I’m feeling a little darker and need something to put the pep back in my step, Dirty Chai is what I turn to.

Vanilla Chai Tea Latte

You should be able to see where this is going at this point. Vanilla Chai Tea Latte combines Chai Tea Latte with two pumps of vanilla syrup.

The beautiful chai spices take on afternotes of sweetness thanks to the vanilla. The frothed latte gives it a creaminess that leaves nothing to be desired.

However, this chai tea recipe isn’t on the regular Starbucks menu but is easy to order.

Order the regular Chai Tea Latte with an extra dose of vanilla, and your drink is ready. Interestingly, Starbucks has a Blond Vanilla Latte, which is a regular latte with a vanilla shot.

Unsurprisingly, this recipe works perfectly with Chai tea as a substitute for espresso.

Chai Eggnog

I love eggnog, and I adore Chai. The combination of these two drinks is a marriage made in heaven.

However, the Chai Eggnog Latte isn’t a regular on the Starbucks menu, and only appears in the latter stages of the holiday season.

More importantly, this beverage is delicious, whether hot or cold. It’s a cozy drink that combines the best two beverages of the holiday season.

Since they feature similar spices, the combination of the two is too good to pass up.

While it’s possible to make this beverage at home, Starbucks has perfected the art of the Chai Eggnog, allowing you to indulge in the refreshing spices of Chai and the delightful creaminess of eggnog.
