The Cheapest Drinks on the Starbucks Menu

Starbucks is often criticized for its prices, but these Starbucks drinks are your best budget options.

Many people around the world enjoy a nice cup of coffee to add a boost of energy to their day. Starbucks is the largest coffee chains in the world, but the drinks can be expensive.

A common complaint against Starbucks is the cost of the drinks, but there are cheaper drinks on the Starbucks menu.

In this article, I’ll discuss some of the cheapest Starbucks drinks available so that you can indulge on a budget.

Cheapest Starbucks Drinks

These cheaper Starbucks drinks taste great without all the extra cost.

Freshly Brewed Coffee Tall

The most recognizable item on Starbucks’ menu is freshly brewed coffee.

Brewed coffee comes in several roasts, such as dark roast or Veranda blend.

In addition to several blend options, you can also order decaf if you don’t enjoy caffeine. A tall fresh, brewed coffee is 12 fl oz.

Coffee Frappuccino Tall

Frappuccinos are a form of blended ice coffee.

The drink usually comes with a coffee or cream base and can be topped with whipped cream and various flavors of syrup.

Starbucks offers Frappuccinos in three sizes: tall, grande, and venti. Tall is the smallest serving offered at 12 fl oz, making it the cheapest option.

Hot Tea

Starbucks offers a wide variety of hot teas.

In general, Starbucks offers green, black, chai, and herbal tea, with several flavors of each tea category available.

All of Starbucks’ teas come in 4 serving sizes, with the smaller half only using one tea bag and the larger half using two tea bags.

Starbucks also has fun tea-based drinks you can try if you want to spend a bit more!

Iced Coffee (With or Without Milk)

Iced coffee from Starbucks is served plain, with optional milk.

Iced coffee is quite plain on its own, so be sure to add any desired sweeteners or creamers you may enjoy to your coffee.

Starbucks iced coffee is available in 4 serving sizes. The cheapest option, of course, is their smallest size, Tall.

Coffee Latte Tall

A Latte is a type of coffee drink made with espresso coffee mixed with steamed milk to provide a satisfying energy boost and delicious flavor.

Many lattes are mixed with some flavoring to add more to the taste, such as pumpkin spice or caramel, which is my favorite.

Starbucks offers several flavoring options for the lattes.

Espresso

In my opinion, a shot of espresso is a great way to get an extra kick of energy out of your drink while simultaneously deepening the flavor.

Starbucks mixes their espresso shots with caramel and optional whipped cream.

A shot of espresso from Starbucks is 1.5 fl oz.

Caffè Americano

A Caffè Americano is an espresso shot coffee that has been diluted with hot water to give it a caffeine boost comparable to a regular brewed coffee.

Starbucks does not offer varieties of this type of coffee, likely due to how unique a Caffè Americano is on its own.

Hot Chocolate

Starbucks hot chocolate is made with steamed milk mixed with a combination of chocolate and vanilla syrups, with a whipped cream topping.

Hot chocolate is one of the cheapest ways you can warm yourself during the winter while on the go.

Starbucks offers hot chocolate in 4 serving sizes.

White Chocolate Mocha Tall

A white chocolate mocha is another of Starbucks’ popular mixed coffee drinks.

Starbucks combines their regular espresso shot with 2% milk, milk foam, and white chocolate sauce.

In addition, you can sweeten this mocha even more with a whipped cream topping.

In my opinion, this is one of the best-tasting drinks, and I invite you to try it for yourself.

Cold Brew

Cold brew coffee is made by steeping coffee grounds in room temperature water for several hours.

I personally like cold brew coffee more than regular coffee when I’m on the go.

Fortunately, Starbucks offers numerous cold brew coffee drinks to satisfy whatever flavor craving you are experiencing.

Caffe Mocha Tall

Mocha coffee is a chocolate-flavored form of coffee.

Caffe mochas are similar to lattes in that they are made with a mixture of steamed milk and espresso.

However, nothing compares to Starbucks’ signature mocha sauce. A tall Caffe mocha is a serving of 12 fl oz.

Cool Lime or Very Berry Starbucks Refreshers™ Tall

Even if you don’t enjoy any form of coffee, Starbucks has several fruit-flavored refreshers that can contain caffeine available.

All of Starbucks’ signature refreshers are freshly shaken with ice and delicious ingredients that vary depending on the flavor of your choice.

So if you’re looking for a cold, freshly made beverage at an affordable price, Starbucks refreshers are perfect.
