29 Chicken Tender Recipe Ideas

Chicken tenders are one of my go-to meals, and I never get tired of making them! I used to bread hundreds of chicken breasts and tenders for my job in restaurants, so Iโ€™m experienced with them. Theyโ€™re my favorite cut of chicken for quick weeknight dinners, since they cook in minutes and are always juicy and tender. Below Iโ€™ve compiled my favorite chicken tenderloin recipes, ranging from crispy fried chicken tenders to air fryer chicken tenders, skillet recipes, saucy chicken tenders, sliders, and copycat recipes. Iโ€™ve ranked them by popularity! If you love a crunchy coating, you might also like my easy chicken cutlet recipe.

29. Sheet Pan Honey Balsamic Chicken and Vegetables

Sheet pan dinners are a lifesaver when you are not in the mood for doing dishes. Chicken and veggies all seasoned and roasted in honey balsamic marinade until sweet, tangy and slightly caramelized! There are so many flavors and colors going on in this dish: zucchini, bell peppers and mushrooms. Roast the veggies first to give them a head start before adding the chicken. This is a full meal with almost no effort (or cleanup!), all on one pan!

28. Pan Seared Chicken Tenderloin

Tender chicken tenderloins, seared to perfection with some spices, Cajun seasoning and olive oil for flavor. The whole process only takes about 25 minutes from start to finish. I like to slice them up for wraps, rice bowls or salads. If youโ€™re making these during the week, the leftovers will last you a few meals! Just remember to let them rest for about 5 minutes before you cut into them, that way they stay juicy.

Blackened chicken refers to a cooking style where the chicken is heavily coated with spices and cooked until the outside develops a dark, flavorful crust. The result is flavorful, spicy chicken with a smoky flavor, no breading necessary! I cook mine in the air fryer so I donโ€™t fill the house with smoke, and serve them with roasted vegetables and ranch dipping sauce.
