Chick-fil-A Tests Bone-in Wings

Chick-fil-A is known for their delicious chicken sandwiches and nuggets, but the fast food chain is now testing a new menu item: bone-in chicken wings. As of late October 2023, one Chick-fil-A location in College Park, Maryland is offering bone-in chicken wings as part of a limited-time test menu.

This test menu is being offered through Chick-fil-A’s “Little Blue Menu,” a virtual restaurant concept operated out of the College Park location. According to an article on Chew Boom, the Little Blue Menu features burgers and bone-in chicken wings in addition to Chick-fil-A’s classic chicken sandwiches and nuggets.

The bone-in wings come with the option of various sauces for dipping, including Chick-fil-A and Barbeque sauces. Early reviews on social media from customers who tried the wings praised their crispiness and flavor. However, it remains to be seen if the wings will become a permanent part of Chick-fil-A’s national menu.

For now, the bone-in wings are only available on a trial basis at the single College Park location. Chick-fil-A is likely testing customer demand and popularity for the new menu item in a controlled setting before deciding whether to expand the offering more widely. If the bone-in wings prove successful in College Park, we may see them added to more Chick-fil-A restaurants in the future.
