Apple Cinnamon Waffles

The Waffle House offers apple cinnamon waffles at a select few locations. The chefs make these waffles from the typical ingredients of flour, eggs, butter, milk, baking powder, sugar, salt, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and apples.

These waffles are very sweet and full of flavor. I especially loved eating these waffles on a rainy Fall day. It’s a good idea to add some bacon to this dish to have a more savory taste along with the sweetness of the waffles.

This is the Waffle House, so you’ll never regret trying out one of their amazing waffles. Enjoy your breakfast!

Coffee

The Waffle House coffee is a great beverage to choose from, as it can go with any of the other menu items at this restaurant. You can choose from three different types of coffee. The Waffle House offers decaf coffee, dark roast coffee, and a classic blend of coffee.

Every beverage in this list is only five calories in total (before you add cream and sugar), and it comes in an eight-ounce mug. If you’re looking for a pick-me-up in the morning, then order one of the caffeinated coffees at the Waffle House. Otherwise, the decaf version will give you a tasty alternative.

Personally, I adore their dark roast coffee with its smooth finish.

Double D’s

Double D’s are a menu item available at most Waffle House locations. This dish may be a simple breakfast, but it was sure hearty and tasty. I loved the soft and flavorful sunny side eggs on top of the crunchy hash browns.

I love Southern food, so I couldn’t say no to some grits when I visited the Waffle House last summer. The chefs create these grits out of yellow or white corn, water, milk, butter, and salt.

This restaurant serves four different types of grits including:

  • Standard grits in a bowl
  • A bowl of bacon, egg, and cheese grits

The Waffle House also serves a slice of pecan pie if you’d like dessert with your brunch. The pecan pie has a small amount of protein but is mainly made of carbohydrates and fats. One slice of pecan pie has around 520 calories.
