These waffles are very sweet and full of flavor. I especially loved eating these waffles on a rainy Fall day. It’s a good idea to add some bacon to this dish to have a more savory taste along with the sweetness of the waffles.

This is the Waffle House, so you’ll never regret trying out one of their amazing waffles. Enjoy your breakfast!

Biscuits And Gravy

The best Waffle House menu items include biscuits and gravy. The tasty biscuits and gravy meal from the Waffle House is only 470 calories in total, and the sausage gravy will melt in your mouth. The ingredients for these biscuits include flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, butter, buttermilk, and whole milk.

With this meal, you can add tasty sides like bacon, sausage, ham, grits, tomatoes, and/or hash browns. The biscuits are grilled and quite delicious. I loved this meal and enjoyed a side of sausage and hash browns with my biscuits and gravy.

Enjoy the flaky biscuits with the sausage gravy. You’ll be happy and full after this breakfast!

The Waffle House coffee is a great beverage to choose from, as it can go with any of the other menu items at this restaurant. You can choose from three different types of coffee. The Waffle House offers decaf coffee, dark roast coffee, and a classic blend of coffee.

Every beverage in this list is only five calories in total (before you add cream and sugar), and it comes in an eight-ounce mug. If you’re looking for a pick-me-up in the morning, then order one of the caffeinated coffees at the Waffle House. Otherwise, the decaf version will give you a tasty alternative.

Personally, I adore their dark roast coffee with its smooth finish.

Double D’s

Double D’s are a menu item available at most Waffle House locations. This dish may be a simple breakfast, but it was sure hearty and tasty. I loved the soft and flavorful sunny side eggs on top of the crunchy hash browns.

This dish includes ingredients of potatoes, salt, fresh pepper, other seasonings, and a couple of eggs. This meal may be plain, but it sure tastes good. Best of all, the chefs grill the hash browns shape them into a circular figure.

So if you want a tasty meal with some healthy ingredients, choose the Double D’s menu item. Enjoy those eggs and hash browns!

I love Southern food, so I couldn’t say no to some grits when I visited the Waffle House last summer. The chefs create these grits out of yellow or white corn, water, milk, butter, and salt.

This restaurant serves four different types of grits including:

  • Standard grits in a bowl
  • A bowl of bacon, egg, and cheese grits
  • A bowl of sausage, egg, and cheese grits
  • A bowl of ham, cheese, and egg grits

Personally, I loved eating the sausage with egg and cheese grits. The sausage was real savory while the eggs and grits melted in my mouth. It was the perfect breakfast.

Pecan Pie

The Waffle House also serves a slice of pecan pie if you’d like dessert with your brunch. The pecan pie has a small amount of protein but is mainly made of carbohydrates and fats. One slice of pecan pie has around 520 calories.

The ingredients in Waffle House’s pecan pie include:

  • Pie crust
  • Sugar
  • Corn syrup
  • Salt
  • Vanilla extract
  • Cubed pecans
  • Butter
  • Eggs

I absolutely loved tasting the sweet and syrupy flavor of this pecan pie. The pecans were crunchy and had a great nutty flavor. I couldn’t get enough of it. I even considered ordering a second slice.

Pecan Waffles

When I bit into the pecan waffles, I adored the sweet and creamy taste. The yummy pecans sprinkled on top had a delicious and nutty flavor. Out of the two toppings offered, I chose the peanut butter chips.

If you don’t like peanut butter, you can always pick the chocolate chips instead. I also chose to have some bacon on the side. Some other sides available include ham or sausage.

The cooks make these pecan waffles using flour, sugar, salt, eggs, butter, milk, baking powder, and vanilla extract and bake the pecans right into the waffle. It’s a great breakfast on a Sunday morning.

All-Star Breakfast

If you’re starving for a big breakfast at the Waffle House, you will definitely be satisfied with the All-Star Breakfast. It’s a perfect meal for athletes who get up early and go jogging and swimming. If you’re an athlete, you’ll need to replace all those calories you lost.

This meal allows you to customize two or three scrambled eggs with grits, hash browns, or tomatoes, toast or biscuits, a waffle, and bacon, sausage, or ham. You can also choose some grilled onions or sausage gravy.

For a large meal, I enjoyed the All-Star Breakfast after spending the morning hiking up a mountain. It was perfect after getting all that exercise.

Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich

When I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich, I loved biting into the crunchy bacon, toasted bread, and creamy egg yolks. This sandwich is served with one egg, milk, three slices of bacon, and a slice of American cheese melted on top of wheat toast.

You get to choose the type of bread you prefer. I also got to choose either a fried or scrambled egg. Furthermore, I added hash browns on the side to round out my meal. This sandwich is 410 calories in total and has 21 grams of protein.

If you’re looking for a tasty brunch, you can’t go wrong with this bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich.

Chicken Bacon Ranch Biscuit

The Waffle House even allows its patrons to build their own biscuits. One of the more popular and customizable choices is the chicken bacon ranch biscuit. I tried it once, and it did not disappoint!

All you need to do is ask for the chicken biscuit and have the chefs include cheese, bacon, and a side of ranch dressing with your order. You can even have an egg put on top of this biscuit as well. Their biscuits have ingredients like egg, milk, soy, and wheat flour.

This tasty and personalized biscuit was a great start to my day!

Sausage, Egg, And Cheese Grits Bowl

Since grits are one of my favorite breakfasts, I ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese grits bowl one Saturday morning. This meal includes a crumbled Jimmy Dean sausage patty, a bowl of grits, one slice of American cheese melted on top of the grits, and a scrambled egg.

Grits are usually made out of white or yellow corn. You can order these grits on the side of a bigger meal, such as a waffle, scrambled eggs, or steak and eggs.

Personally, I picked the country ham and eggs to go along with my grits. Don’t forget to get some coffee to finish off this delicious meal!

Covered Hash Browns

The covered hash browns are a great choice if you love melted American cheese and grilled onions smothered all over your tasty hash browns. The covered hash browns are made with potatoes, soy, salt, pepper, a slice of American cheese, and onions.

I love this meal because it’s customizable, and I got to choose between either a regular size, a large, or even triple hash browns.

I also added some bacon to the side of these covered hash browns, but I did have the choice of sausage or country ham on the side.

Papa Joe’s Pork Chops And Eggs

If you’re really hungry, then Papa Joe’s Pork Chops and Eggs are a great breakfast to try.

When I went out jogging in the morning and then taking a spinning class, I was ready for a massive breakfast once I entered the Waffle House. The Papa Joe’s Pork Chops and Eggs hit just the spot.

This meal included two five-ounce pork chops, wheat toast with jelly, two scrambled eggs, and a choice of hash browns, grits, or sliced tomatoes. If you want to make the meal even more delicious, add some grilled onions, smoked ham, or sausage gravy.

Buttermilk Waffle

The buttermilk waffle from Waffle House is a wonderful breakfast and comes with a choice of toppings ranging from pecans and chocolate chips to peanut butter chips.

This waffle is made with the following ingredients: all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, one egg, sugar, malt powder, butter, shortening, milk, heavy cream, buttermilk, and vanilla extract.

The waffle itself is only 410 calories, while the toppings can add 110 to 150 extra calories. Generally, this breakfast can be part of a healthy diet. Best of all, it’s delicious, and your mouth will start watering when you get your first taste.

Quarter-Pound Angus Hamburger

The few times I’ve gone to the Waffle House for lunch, I’ve enjoyed getting their quarter-pound Angus hamburger. I also got some tasty hash browns on the side. If you don’t like hash browns, you can order grits instead or sliced tomatoes.

This burger comes with lettuce, tomatoes, and grilled onion, as well as a four-ounce Angus beef patty and a grilled bun. The hamburger can also be customized with an addition of bacon, grilled mushrooms, or jalapeno peppers.

I loved trying this juicy burger with my crunchy hash browns. Next time you’re having lunch at the Waffle House, give the quarter-pound Angus hamburger a try.

Cheesesteak Omelet

If you’re looking for a large, tasty, and filling meal, then order the cheesesteak omelet. This omelet comes with thin-sliced chuck steak, eggs, milk, flour, and two slices of melted American cheese.

When I visited the Waffle House, this order was served with wheat toast and jelly as well. I also chose a side of the hash browns, but you can get grits or sliced tomatoes instead.

In total, the meal should be around 950 calories. Enjoy your cheesesteak omelet!
