    • B&B Butchers in Houston is overpriced and steaks are not as good as other high end restaurants, Steak 48, Papa Brothers, Vic and Anthony’s.

    • A follow up to my post. Manny’s not Murray’s. Beauvettes in Chicago. The Ruth Chris in Knoxville is amazing. Of course Peter Luger”s(Brooklyn not Long Island). Iavonne’s in Tampa is just as good as Bern’s.

  1. The Cincinnati pick is overrated. I have not had a good meal there and I have been to most of your list. Not only below average food, below average service, but a management team that did not follow through. Cincinnati is amazing but the Precinct has not met my expectations. Better options in DC, Charleston, and NYC to be sure…

  2. I concur with Berns. While you can find equivalent steaks at neighboring steakhouses the nostalgia and experience is second to none. Quality control is managed from source to the table like no other. The wait staff is put through a series of lower level jobs before an opportunity exists to wait their first table. As I’ve heard some even have to work one of the farms for a period of time. The wine selection is the largest in the US and quite the display. At last, the desert room is a experience onto itself.

  3. Ruth Cris is part of the Darden group out of Orlando , they own a ton of different places . Longhorn Olive Garden Bahama Breeze Chedders scratch kitchen and sold Red Lobster years ago.
