Dunkin’ Brings Back Butter Pecan Swirl as Permanent Menu Item

Dunkin’ Donuts has announced the return of the Butter Pecan Swirl flavor to its restaurants nationwide starting April 26, 2023.

The announcement comes as part of the celebration of National Pecan Day, much to the delight of pecan lovers across the country.

The Butter Pecan Swirl, which features notes of butter roasted pecan and sweet cream, was first launched in 2013 as a limited-time treat.

Since then, it has become a fan favorite, with Dunkin’ die-hards petitioning and passionately pleading on social media for it to become a permanent menu item.

“On the 10-year anniversary of Butter Pecan Swirl’s debut, we knew it was time to make this adored flavor a core menu staple,” said Jill McVicar Nelson, Dunkin’s Chief Marketing Officer. “The requests from guests and our Dunkin’ teammates to make this Swirl a regular offering are staggering.

We’re thrilled to finally grant their wish, making this a permanent delight for Dunkin’ fans to savor all year long.”

Starting April 26, guests can add the Butter Pecan Swirl to any hot or iced coffee, espresso drink, cold brew, frozen coffee, or frozen chocolate. The flavor will be available at all Dunkin’ Donuts locations across the United States.

But that’s not all – Dunkin’ Donuts has promised more pecan news later this month. Fans can expect a few extra surprises in store to delight their taste buds.

Stay tuned for more updates from Dunkin’ Donuts as they continue to satisfy their customers’ cravings with delicious flavors and menu items.
