Every summer without fail, your Instagram feed is full of one thing: iced coffee (and other fancy beverages) from Starbucks. Tired of missing out, but too scared to wade into the impossibly long and intimidating menu?

Perhaps you’re just looking for a recommendation on where to start. Either way, we’ve got you covered.

Tried and tested, these are all of our ultimate recommendations for the best iced drinks that Starbucks has to offer – and don’t worry if you’re not a big coffee drinker… there are tea-based drinks too!

From the infamous Pink Drink to the Chocolate Frappe, there’s bound to be a drink that takes your fancy.

Have a scroll and then head to your nearest Starbucks to sate the caffeine craving that you’ll definitely have when you’re finished.

Don’t forget, if you become a Starbucks Rewards member, you can get discounts, free drinks and limited edition offers that regular coffee fans won’t get access to. That’s one way to reduce the cost of this habit!

Iced Latte

Sometimes simplicity is best, so why not stick to the classics and try an iced latte?

You can add some sugar, sweetener, or a flavored syrup if you’re not a fan of the plain coffee taste, but personally, I love a venti iced latte with skim milk, just as it comes.

Sometimes I’ll order it with an extra shot when I need the buzz.

If you like your coffee a little less milky like me, adding an extra shot of espresso also balances out the drink.

Try it with different milk like coconut or almond for an even more refreshing take on this summertime classic.

Trust me, it’s been on the menu from the beginning for a very, very good reason.

Iced Green Tea Lemonade

Zingy, zesty, and perfectly punchy, this is a great way to get your caffeine fix without the coffee when it isn’t your favorite.

I personally like the green tea version as it’s such a light flavor, but you could try the peach one if you fancy.

I love an iced green tea, but there’s nothing as refreshing as lemonade in the summer. You can have the best of both worlds with this drink!

Fruits they have on hand for you to add to these include strawberries, dragonfruit, kiwi, blackberries, and blueberries, so go wild and enjoy a little snack as well!

S’mores Frappuccino

That old campfire classic, blended into a coffee creation with a heap of whipped cream on top?

Sure it’s sickly sweet, but you just can’t beat a S’mores Frappuccino on a hot summer afternoon.

In my opinion, s’mores are the ultimate summer snack. Why not have one in drink form?

Don’t be surprised if you enjoy it so much you start singing Kumbaya, My Lord as though you’re hanging out by the roaring flames of a camp cookout and not your local coffee shop.

Definitely one to try on an empty stomach!

The Pink Drink (Strawberry Acai Refresher)

Popularised by Instagram influencers all across the world, including the likes of the Kardashians, everybody has heard of the Pink Drink.

In spite of its reputation as a hipster nightmare, it’s actually an incredibly delicious thirst quencher that will take you by surprise.

Soooo good for those lazy afternoons where it’s too hot to do anything but sip on an adorable drink and look cute.

You can even swap out some ingredients to make it lower in calories, check it out here.

What more could you want?!

Iced Dirty Chai Latte

starbucks dirty chai

A brand new take on the Indian classic, this chai latte is iced and paired with a shot of espresso, which is what makes it “dirty” – don’t worry!

It’s sharp, sweet and cinnamony, kind of like if you mixed up a coffee and a cinnamon bun – for a more sugary, dessert-style version you could ask for this as a frappuccino with whipped cream, though be wary that it’s already on the sweet side as it is!

If you love a hot chai latte you’ll be a big fan of this.

It’s the perfect drink if you love a chai latte, but you want the extra caffeine thanks to the espresso shot!

Mocha Frappuccino

mocha frappuccino

Another veteran of the Starbucks iced drinks menu, this is like if you made yourself some mocha ice cream, only you can drink it and it gives you an energy boost.

Kind of like a Tim Horton’s iced hot chocolate, but better, because it has coffee in it.

There’s nothing else I really need to say on this one – it sounds delicious all on its own, so what are you waiting for?

Go out and get yourself one, especially if you’re a chocolate lover!

If you’re not feeling the mocha frappuccino, don’t worry because they have tons of other flavors to try.

Cloud Caramel Macchiato

About as adorable and aesthetically pleasing as they sound, the Cloud Caramel Macchiato is a fluffier version of their original drink, recently added to the menu but definitely becoming a favorite across the nation.

They take a classic caramel macchiato, already one of my favorite caramel-y drinks, and they add cold foam milk to the top.

I love the way that cold foam drips down through the drink.

The sharp sweetness of the caramel against the foamy clouds of milk and bittersweet coffee?

A perfect combination you’ll come back to try time and time again. Feels like you’re floating through the sky!

Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew

Cold brew is a more intense take on the iced coffees that Starbucks do, offering a far stronger flavor that you might not be a fan of if strong drinks aren’t your favorite.

However… when you add a big old heap of vanilla sweet cream, this turns into a delicious ice cream float of a drink.

I love the sweet cream cold brew as is, or with cold foam added on top.

Either way, you get bold cold brew coffee with sweet creaminess!

Don’t get me wrong, it’s still pretty powerful, but it certainly tones it down a little, and the vanilla is especially complimentary. A personal go-to on a regular basis!

Iced Matcha Latte

Want to get your caffeine fix without having to resort to coffee? This green Japanese tea powder could be the answer!

It can definitely be an acquired taste for some – it does look kinda like blended grass to be fair – but matcha is growing more and more popular as time goes by.

The iced matcha latte can be made with any type of milk, so you can enjoy a dairy free version if you like. I love the taste of cold matcha with coconut milk if it’s available!

Lovers of hot matcha will be surprised by how differently delicious the iced version is.

Perhaps worth trying the taste of matcha alone before you give this a try, though!

Iced White Chocolate Mocha

Last but not least, a twist on the classic mocha frappuccino – everything is exactly the same, but they use thick white chocolate syrup instead!

It’s definitely more of a subtle flavor, and I highly recommend asking for a couple of extra pumps if you really want to get the chocolatey aftertaste.

I love the white chocolate mocha flavor that Starbucks makes. It’s one of my favorite sweet treats in the summer.

It’s great as-is if you don’t really have a sweet tooth but want a bit of extra something in your coffee one day. Definitely worth giving a try!
