Tea is a wonderful, relaxing drink to have any time of the day: morning, afternoon, early evening, and even nighttime. But when nighttime rolls around and you want something a little stronger, spiked tea is a light, refreshing choice that’ll leave you buzzing.

When you make tea and all other ingredients, it’s all about balance. You want to make sure none of the other ingredients overpower the others.
It’s the same when dealing with spiked tea- the proportion must be just right for it to taste good. Luckily, these popular companies know what they’re doing and continuously deliver the most delicious drinks.
The problem is, there are so many options out there, and it can be hard to know what’s good without spending all your money trying brand after brand.
There’s nothing worse than committing to a whole 12 or 24-pack only to realize you don’t like the taste after one sip.
This is why I’ve put together a list of some of the best spiked teas around. Drink responsibly and enjoy!

Twisted Tea
Twisted Tea is a popular spiked tea popular in the summertime.
If you’re not the biggest fan of black tea, this drink is a good choice because you can hardly taste it. It’s on the sweeter side, heavy on the lemon, and resembles a boozy Arnold Palmer.
Twisted Tea comes in a variety of flavors, including:
- Original
- Half & Half
- Sweet Cherry Lime
- Blueberry
- Peach
- Mango
- Raspberry
- Blackberry
And for the calorie-conscious drinkers, there’s a Light option available.
I like to sip these teas on a hot day when I need something refreshing but want a little buzz.
Grab a pack of these hard teas perfect for time on or at the lake, a barbeque, or any get-together.
Bud Light Seltzer Iced Tea
Anheuser-Busch is famous for their American Light Lagers, Bud Light, but decided to dabble in the seltzer and hard iced tea business as well.
And the fans (me) are here for it. When I first discovered their teas, I knew they would be delicious because of the light, crisp, quality beer this company creates.
Bud Light Seltzer Iced Tea comes in a variety pack and includes the following flavors:
- Peach
- Raspberry
- Tangerine
- Apple
You might be surprised to see tangerine and apple included in this hard iced tea list, but these flavors were captured perfectly and are light enough that you can still enjoy the flavor of the tea.
This is one of the best spiked teas to have when I find myself with a juicy burger on my plate.
Check out other Bud Light seltzers we love!
LIIT Long Island Iced Tea Hard Tea Seltzer
I’m always in the market for a good long island iced tea.
The LIIT Long Island Iced Tea from Blue Point Brewing is perfect for those beach or poolside afternoons.
These teas include 100% natural flavors with real tea for a clean, balanced, and refreshing drink good for any occasion.
The seltzer gives the tea an extra crisp pop and the 5% ABC makes this the perfect drink to sip all day long.
LIIT Long Island Iced Tea is available in three flavors:
- Lemon

- Raspberry Lime
This tea is close in texture and flavor to the Bud Light Seltzer and is best paired with barbeque food.
Loverboy Sparkling Hard Tea
The Sparkling Hard Tea by Loverboy is one of the lightest options out there, both calorie and ingredient-wise.
It’s made with zero sugar and organic tea and is only 90 calories. Not only do these teas come in gorgeous packaging, but the taste is unmatched.
The available flavors are:

This is the perfect drink when I know I’ll be drinking for quite a few hours but don’t want a nasty hangover the next day.
Because there’s no sugar or artificial ingredients, I always feel great after drinking these.
LQD
Anheuser-Busch has done it again with another great drink.
LQD is a line of low-calorie, flavored malt beverages made with natural, high-quality ingredients, real fruit, green tea, and coconut water.
There are four flavors available, but only two of them are considered hard green teas.
- Hard Peach Green Tea*
- Hard Passion Fruit Green Tea*
- Hard Agave Limeade
- Hard Hibiscus Lemonade
LQD is another naturally-flavored drink that you can sip on all day without the fear of a hangover.
These refreshing drinks are perfect for a casual day at home or your next movie or game night.
Owl’s Brew Boozy Tea
Owl’s Brew Boozy Tea is perfect for the tea lover that appreciates all-natural ingredients.

And with all the flavor options, you’ll never run out of something new to try!
Pabst Blue Ribbon Hard Tea Seltzer
The Pabst Blue Ribbon Hard Tea Seltzer is another summertime gem.
Hard tea enthusiasts (me) are sure to love this hard tea seltzer with effervescent, bold fruit profiles with 4% ABC and 100 calories per can.
This hard tea seltzer comes in four flavors:
- Peach Black Tea
- Lemon Black Tea
- Raspberry Black Tea
- Pineapple Passion Fruit Black Tea
These hard tea seltzers are another barbeque/outdoor gathering staple, and you can expect bold, delicious flavors in each sip.
My favorite of the four flavors is the Pineapple Passion Fruit Black Tea. It’s well-balanced and includes the perfect hint of fruit while making way for the rich, full-bodied taste of black tea.
White Claw Iced Tea
White Claw — even if you’re not a big drinker, I’m sure you’ve heard of this iconic brand.
White Claw seltzers quickly climbed the ranks in popularity when they were released and are now a staple at most bars.
The White Claw brand decided to throw their hat in the ring with a hard seltzer iced tea, and for good reason.
These hard teas come in four flavors:
- Iced Tea Lemon
- Iced Tea Peach
- Iced Tea Mango
- Iced Tea Strawberry
All the flavors are delicious and bursting with flavor, but the Iced Tea Strawberry takes the cake.
I’m a huge fan of strawberries, and never before have I tried a drink that perfectly captured the strawberry essence while still tasting like tea — perfection!
Sea Isle Iced Tea
Sea Isle Ice is a manufacturer and distributor of packaged ice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland.
Fans went crazy when they released the Sea Isle Iced Tea. These drinks bring a unique twist to the hard iced tea industry, adding vodka to the mix.
The available flavors are:
- Black Tea
- Vodka, Black Tea & Lemon
- Vodka, Black Tea & Peach
These unique teas are great for when you want something a tad stronger than hard tea but without sacrificing great taste.
The only downside with this tea is that you might only find it in NJ, PA, DE, and MD.
Cisco Brewers Hard Tea Island Lemon 5% ABV
Cisco Brewers knocked it out of the park with their Hard Tea Island Lemon.
You can feel yourself start to relax as soon as you take a sip of this flavor-packed spiked tea.
The lemon pairs nicely with the steeped tea for a flavor combination that’ll make you feel like you’re floating.
The Island Lemon is the best flavor in my opinion, but there are 3 other flavors to choose from:
- Atlantic Orange
- Wild Blueberry
- Surfside Peach
No matter which flavor you choose, expect to be impressed — and make sure you buy enough because you’ll be wanting another.
Arnold Palmer Spiked Half and Half 5% ABV
This is the spiked tea I was most excited about.
I love Arnold Palmers and always looked for a hard tea that tasted similar to it.
Arnold Palmer answered all Arizona iced tea fans’ prayers when they released the Arnold Palmer Spiked Half and Half tea.
The bubble-less, honeyed taste is perfectly balanced and smooth. This nostalgic drink is great for any indoor or outdoor gatherings like game nights, family reunions, cookouts, pool/beach days, etc.
And just like the original Arnold Palmer, there’s a Light option available as well.
Tea time isn’t limited to plain green or black tea with crumpets and muffins. In fact, green and black teas go nicely with a little alcohol. Any of the spiked teas above are great for your next gathering.
Whether you’re spending a day on the boat or at the beach, in your backyard for a barbeque, or a relaxing night in, you can’t go wrong with any of these best spiked teas around. And because of all the variety offered by each brand, you’ll never run out of new drinks to try.
Remember to drink responsibly and enjoy!
