Starbucks has a wide array of syrups that they use to add depth and flavor to all of their drinks. You can instantly take an iced drink or a hot coffee/tea to the next level with a few pumps of Starbucks syrup.
They have a lot of great seasonal flavors, some that always remain in the rotation, and a couple that are very unique, like the funnel cake syrup.
After having tried them so many times, we decided to list the best Starbucks syrups so that you know what to look for on your next visit.
Raspberry Syrup Starbucks
Starting with the Raspberry syrup, this one is really sweet and really good when mixed with the right type of drink.
You have to match the flavor profiles so that the drink doesn’t reflect one note. Some people enjoy the raspberry syrup on a frappuccino or latte, while I think it goes better with the iced black tea or green tea.
It’s also good on hot teas because the flavors are usually more subtle and make way for the raspberry to be the star. However, if you like fruit flavors in your coffee, go for it!
Starbucks has recently changed the artificial dyes they use, so this syrup isn’t red anymore, but it has the same delicious berry flavor.
Peppermint Syrup
The peppermint syrup is a classic that jumps onto everyone’s radar in the fall and winter. It goes best with hot chocolate or mocha anything on the Starbucks menu.
It has a nice bittersweet, minty flavor that gets you in the holiday spirit right away.
The Peppermint Mocha was amongst the first drinks to appear at Starbucks in 2002. Instant hit!
It’s the most popular drink ordered during the holidays, and that probably won’t change anytime soon, though the Pumpkin Spice Latte gave it a run for its money. Another delicious drink that features peppermint syrup is the Thin Mint Frappuccino.
Vanilla Syrup
Vanilla is definitely one of the best Starbucks syrups, as it goes well with so many drinks and people order it quite frequently.
The flavor is simple, so you can match it with lattes, iced coffee, hot coffee, hot tea, iced tea, hot macchiatos, and more.
My personal favorites are the Caramel Macchiato, Vanilla Latte, Vanilla Frappuccino, Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew, and the London Fog Tea Latte.
I love that you can pair it with Starbucks drinks and your own coffee drinks at home if you manage to snag a bottle. You don’t have to be a barista to add a few pumps and kick up your drink with this classic flavor.
Cinnamon Dolce Syrup
Who doesn’t love the taste of cinnamon in the fall? The Cinnamon Dolce syrup is one of my favorites when it starts to get chilly outside.
There’s something about the slight spice and the brown sugar that tastes divine in a hot chocolate, Cinnamon Dolce Latte, a frappucino, a cold brew, and an iced coffee.
There are a few other drinks that you can add it to, and it’s delicious, but these are the drinks that stand out to me and many of the people that I see ordering this syrup while I’m waiting in line.
Classic Syrup Starbucks
The classic syrup is probably the most popular among all Starbucks drink syrups.
It’s a simple syrup that blends with almost everything. It’s excellent in iced drinks, and it provides the perfect hint of sweetness on your hot drinks.
I like to try the other syrups that have a distinct flavor because those are extra special, but this is my go-to when I can’t pick what I want and just want to amp up my drink at the moment.
It’s one of the most versatile because it doesn’t have a specific flavor, which is excellent for those that want a simple addition to decorate their drinks.
Caramel Syrup
This syrup is the base of various classic drinks from Starbucks, such as the delicious caramel frappuccino, and there’s a good reason for that.
The caramel syrup is potent when it comes to its flavor profile. However, the flavor is pure and tasty; just be ready for lots of flavor because caramel syrup packs a punch.
However, when caramel syrup is mixed into a classic such as a caramel frappuccino, it blends very well into the frappuccino base.
The same goes with an iced coffee or any other drink where caramel is apropos to use.
The bottled Starbucks caramel syrup is indeed available to be purchased to make your next drink wonderful.
Hazelnut Syrup
Hazelnut syrup simply offers a nuisance flavor when it comes to sweetness. Furthermore, the taste is nutty and subtle, making for an overall pleasant flavor.
Hazelnut syrup masterfully pairs with hot lattes, iced coffee, and even frappuccino to shake things up for something slightly different.
You can even pair it with mocha sauce to a flavor very similar to Nutella. Even if you have non-dairy drinks such as coconut milk, it pairs with it as well.
Toffee Nut Syrup
Toffee Nut Syrup has hints of brown sugar while also having a warm and nutty flavor to boot.
When it comes to iced coffee and hot lattes, toffee nut syrup can be a welcomed addition to these popular drinks.
More specifically, when paired with a latte, the toffee nut syrup is just sublime.
Along those same lines, when this beautiful liquid is paired with mocha, you’ll have a chocolatey, nutty situation on your hands.
Hot Chocolate is more of the same when it comes to the nutty and delicious flavors that develop due to the toffee nut syrup.
Mango Syrup
Mango was supposed to be a temporary addition during summer, but it was successful enough to warrant bringing the flavor back for a year-round debut about two years ago.
Mango syrup will bring a bright and fruity tropical flavor to any shaken iced teas you can think of.
As you can imagine, this flavor is most conducive for teas, whether they are hot or cold, and of course, lemonades.
However, the drink that reigns supreme when pairing it with mango syrup is the Mango Black Tea Lemonade.
It boasts an exotic mango aroma with its sweet taste and a bit of acidity from the lemonade to boot.
Peach
Peach is another syrup available year-round, just like the mango flavor. This flavor is less tropical than mango, but its subtle fruity flavor works well in iced teas and lemonades.
So if you’re looking to spruce up your iced tea, picking up peach syrup from your closest Starbucks is a great way to make any run-of-the-mill iced tea or lemonade bright and fun.
When you mix all three together, something magical happens; the Peach Green Tea Lemonade happens to be one of the most popular tea drinks sold by Starbucks.
Brown Sugar Syrup
Brown sugar syrup made its debut in the spring of 2021. It debuted in a new drink called the iced brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso.
Then caramelized brown sugar is perfect in potency, it’s not too powerful, and it works swimmingly with espressos.
Furthermore, the iced brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso has wonderful ingredients such as blonde espresso, cinnamon powder, oat milk, and last but not least delicious brown syrup.
You can even add brown sugar syrup to frappuccinos, iced coffee, and even cold brew for a sweet caramelized flavor to present.
Some things are so good that it’s not good enough to have them in small quantities. Sometimes instead of just having toffee nut syrup in your frappuccino, it’s more desirable to have a whole bottle of toffee nut syrup to yourself, allowing you to make your very own concoctions.
In essence, this is the spirit behind the reason coffee and tea enthusiasts should buy any number of these syrup products. Doing so will only serve to enhance your favorite drinks.

I love the Carmel apple spice myself but I think the toffee would be good and the hazal nut would be good
Too bad they got rid of the #1 flavor raspberry. The only one I drank. Haven’t been back since! No plans to return since I can’t get what I liked.
