25. Ambrosia Salad

Ambrosia Salad

Ambrosia Salad is an old-fashioned Thanksgiving side dish that consists of fruit, marshmallows and a creamy dressing. The combination of pineapple, mandarin oranges, maraschino cherries, shredded coconut, chopped pecans, mini marshmallows and a sour cream/whipped topping dressing make this a light and refreshing Thanksgiving side dish. We highly recommend making this Ambrosia salad the night before Thanksgiving Day, as it needs to sit in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to set. Drain and pat dry the fruit before adding to the salad to prevent too much liquid which could loosen up the dressing.
