The Eiffel Tower is one of the most recognizable, if not the most recognizable, sites in the world.
This wrought-iron tower was constructed for the 1889 World’s Fair and has been an iconic symbol of Paris ever since.
Paris is also well-known for its cuisine.
France offers unique dishes and delectable desserts that are unlike that of many other countries.
In addition, the region surrounding the Eiffel Tower is full of restaurants to visit.
Here are some of our favorite restaurants near the Eiffel Tower!
Jules Verne
5 Av. Gustave Eiffel, 75007 Paris, France

Le Jules Verne isn’t just near the Eiffel Tower. It’s inside the Eiffel Tower.
Sitting on the second floor, Le Jules Verne is one of several restaurants inside the tower and is undoubtedly the most iconic.
The restaurant is home to Triple Michelin-starred chef Frédéric Anton and serves gourmet French cuisine for lunch and dinner.
The menu is prix-fixe, meaning you pay a fixed price for either five or seven courses.
Reservations are needed if you want any hope of stepping foot inside, and you will need to pay a deposit with your reservation.
While you’ll have amazing views of Paris no matter what time of day you visit, having dinner here when the tower is sparkling with lights is an experience unlike any other.
Arnaud Nicolas – Restaurant & Boutique
46 Av. de la Bourdonnais, 75007 Paris, France

A seven-minute stroll down Av. de la Bourdonnais from the Eiffel Tower will take you to Arnaud Nicolas Restaurant and Boutique.
The restaurant is named for the owner, Arnaud Nicolas, a chef and pork butcher who describes his menu as “gastronomic charcuterie.”
I recommended the charcuterie and paté options, which can be eaten in the restaurant or purchased for takeout.
The staff of the restaurant recommends you make a reservation if you opt to dine in.
If you will be in France for a while, you may want to plan multiple trips, as the Arnaud Nicolas menu changes every two weeks.

Stéphane Jego is passionate about the bistro business, which shows in L’Ami Jean.
His restaurant offers inspired French cuisine in a classy baroque atmosphere.
While the menu is in a higher price range, the dress code is casual.
L’Ami Jean is a 14-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower down Rue de’l Université, allowing you to enjoy a stroll through the Parisian streets and a view of the Seine before or after your meal.
I recommend starting your meal with the parmesan soup for your first course and finishing it with the rice pudding for dessert.
The full bar is a perfect compliment to your meal. L’Ami Jean takes reservations.
Les Cocottes
135 Rue Saint-Dominique, 75007 Paris, France

Just a block down Rue Saint-Dominique from the Eiffel Tower gardens is Les Cocottes, a cozy bistro offering traditional French fare and gourmet desserts.
Les Cocottes is open for lunch and dinner, offering vegetarian options and a full bar.
The classy but casual atmosphere isn’t the best for kids, and with the mid-to-high price point, it may be better to go without them anyway.
One of my favorite dishes is the langoustine ravioli, a lobster ravioli in a shellfish emulsion.
While Les Cocottes doesn’t do takeout, they do deliver and take reservations.

While the Eiffel Tower is one of Paris’s must-see sites, it’s not the only one. Across the Seine River are the Musee d’Art Moderne de Paris and the Palais de Tokyo, two iconic art museums.
While you visit, stop at Monsieur Bleu, located inside the Palais de Tokyo.
This trendy, dressy restaurant is a 12-minute walk with a bridge over the Seine.
When you arrive at Monsieur Bleu, you may have trouble deciding whether to sit on the open, airy patio or inside the modern, opulent dining room.
Regardless, you’ll have access to a menu of traditional French food with an international twist.
They recommend making reservations if you wish to dine in for dinner.

Zia is the perfect place to stop for breakfast or coffee if you prefer to do your sightseeing early in the morning.
The cafe, located diagonally across the street from the Eiffel Tower gardens, is a quiet spot to people-watch or take in the tower’s beauty from a distance.
Chef and owner Justin Kent grew up in the United States in Sante Fe, New Mexico, but his French mother often brought him to her home country.
As a result, ZIA is an infusion of French and American cuisine.
I was thrilled with the Dutch baby pancakes and avocado toast.
Kids and dogs are allowed, and the restaurant offers takeout as well.

It’s hard to tell what’s better at Au Bon Accueil: the exquisite French cuisine or the stunning view of the Eiffel Tower.
Just a 6-minute walk across Av. de la Bourdonnais from the Eiffel Tower takes you to this intimate bistro that is classy but casual.
The staff at Au Bon Accueil refreshes the menu every day and is available in both a la carte and tasting options.
While you may be tempted to dine on the terrace for the view of the tower, you’ll find a stunning photography exhibition inside.
They recommend making reservations.

6 New York is a delightful Parisian tavern offering a view of the Eiffel Tower from across the Seine.
Owners Jerome and Cathy Gangneux have created a menu full of creative takes on traditional French dishes.
In addition, they update the menu seasonally to ensure the freshest quality ingredients.
Frequently mentioned in reviews is the veal chop, a dish served breaded with hazelnuts and parmesan.
While the restaurant does allow kids, plan to dress up if you’re going for dinner.
