When I am craving a fresh entree that isn’t quite as heavy as a regular hamburger, I go with the Bruschetta Chicken Burger. The chicken is perfectly grilled, and all toppings on the burger are naturally gluten-free, so the only substitution necessary is the bun. Red Robin’s Bruschetta Chicken Burger is a delicious, healthy option for those on a gluten-free diet. This mouth-watering sandwich has a juicy chicken breast topped with fresh bruschetta salsa, roasted garlic aioli, provolone cheese, shredded romaine lettuce, and red onions. Swap the standard ciabatta bun for Red Robin’s Udi gluten-free bun, and this great sandwich is completely free of gluten!

Burnin Love Burger

If you crave spicy food as much as I do, you will love Red Robin’s Burnin Love Burger. However, this burger requires some modifications to be made gluten-free, so be sure to confirm with your waiter that your burger does not contain gluten. The Burnin Love Burger is made with Red Robin’s signature ½ pound black Angus beef patty topped with house-made salsa, Pepper Jack cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes. The standard menu item also includes fried jalapeno coins which need to be omitted to make the burger gluten-free. The delicious chipotle aioli is what makes this burger for me–it is creamy with just the right amount of kick. Substitute a gluten-free bun for the standard bun, and enjoy your tasty gluten-free Burnin Love burger!

When I’m at Red Robin with friends after a long day of work and don’t mind getting a bit messy, Red Robin’s Chili Chili Cheeseburger hits the spot. The combination of burger and chili is extremely filling, and it’s so delicious that I don’t miss gluten at all while eating it. The Chili Chili Cheeseburger is Red Robin’s standard ½ pound black Angus beef pattie topped with a generous serving of their famous Red’s Chili Chili. The burger also contains cheddar cheese, red onions, and Red Robin’s tasty chipotle aioli. The only modification necessary to make this burger completely gluten-free is substituting a gluten-free bun for the standard sesame bun.

The Wedgie Burger

While the Udi’s gluten-free buns that Red Robin uses are a great substitute for a normal burger bun, sometimes I would rather forego a bun. When I want an ultra-low-carb meal, I go with the Wedgie Burger. This burger contains only gluten-free ingredients, so no alterations are necessary! The Wedgie Burger is Red Robin’s gourmet ½ pound black Angus beef pattie garnished with hardwood-smoked bacon, house-made guacamole, tomatoes, and red onions. What sets the Wedgie Burger apart is that instead of a bun, it comes wrapped in a wedge of iceberg lettuce!

Some days I want a fancy sandwich loaded with toppings and sauces, but other days I’m in the mood for something a bit more basic. So, I will order the Simply Grilled Chicken Sandwich when I want to enjoy a classic meal. Red Robin’s Simply Grilled Chicken Sandwich is just what it sounds like–a perfectly grilled chicken breast served on a bun. To make the burger gluten-free, request a gluten-free bun instead of Red Robin’s standard sesame bun. Lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and red onions come on the side, so you can customize your chicken burger to your liking.

Red Robin is known for its burgers, and they are usually the reason I go there. Sometimes, though, I am not in the mood for a burger or sandwich. So on the occasion that I want something different, Red’s Chili Chili is a perfect choice. This hearty chili is filling, warming, and naturally gluten-free, so you won’t need to worry about substitutions or omissions! Red’s Chili Chili is a blend of fire-grilled beef, beans, and spices. It is topped with Cheddar cheese, red onions, and tortilla strips. If you want to order a snack-sized portion, you can order a cup of Red’s Chili Chili. For a larger portion, the chili is also available in a bowl.

Don’t get me wrong, I love meat, but some days I crave the fresh taste of a vegetarian meal. Whether you are a vegetarian, partake in Meatless Monday, or just want to switch it up, Red Robin’s Veggie Burger is a great alternative to a meat burger. The veggie patty is made of ancient grains and quinoa and is gluten-free. The burger is topped with Swiss cheese, house-made salsa, freshly sliced avocado, roasted garlic aioli, and lettuce. Another Red Robin gluten-free option lighter than a burger is the Ensanada Chicken Platter. This juicy chicken is perfectly grilled and served with a side salad. This entree is the perfect lunch or light dinner. I love eating it on a hot summer night, as it leaves me feeling full but energized! The Ensanada Chicken Platter consists of two ancho-seasoned chicken breasts topped with salsa-ranch dressing and house-made salsa. The seasoning is the perfect blend of spicy and savory, and the dressing and salsa pair perfectly with this delicious chicken. The chicken is served with a mixed greens side salad with Cheddar cheese, tomatoes, and tortilla strips. For a lighter meal, order the Ensanada Chicken Platter with one chicken breast instead of two.

For a perfect snack or appetizer, Red Robin’s french fries have no equal. While I love Red Robin’s burgers, they come with bottomless steak fries, and this makes them even better. Thank goodness french fries are naturally gluten-free! Red Robin’s steak fries are thick cut and perfectly fried, usually in a separate frier than other fried foods, so you don’t need to worry about potential contamination. Moreover, you can always check with your waiter that your fries are guaranteed to be gluten-free for added peace of mind. Red’s Original Seasoning gives their fries a little kick that makes them irresistible. The good news is that every burger comes with an option of endless fries!

Red Robin gluten-free options include many chicken entrees, and one of my absolute favorites is the Marco Pollo. The tender chicken combines with a delicious aioli, bacon, and arugula to make a sandwich that will whet even the heartiest appetites. Just request a gluten-free bun instead of the standard telera bun, and you have an incredible gluten-free meal. The Marco Pollo consists of a 7-ounce all-natural fire-grilled chicken breast served with arugula, Fontina cheese, peppered bacon, and oven-roasted tomato aioli. The combination of flavors is so irresistible that I crave this sandwich!

Side Salad

If you don’t want fries with your burger, Red Robin offers many other choices for sides. I love their side salad, and I appreciate that all burgers come with the option to substitute bottomless salad for bottomless fries! While you’ll need to leave the croutons off if you want a gluten-free salad, all the other ingredients in Red Robin’s side salad are naturally gluten-free! Red Robin’s Side Salad is mixed greens topped with cucumbers, tomatoes, and Cheddar cheese. Red Robin has many choices for gluten-free dressings to go on your side salad as well.

Coleslaw

Another delicious Red Robin gluten-free option is coleslaw. It’s my go-to if I want a side richer than the side salad but not as heavy as the french fries. Coleslaw is the perfect middle ground! Red Robin’s coleslaw has the perfect balance of creaminess from the mayonnaise and tartness from the vinegar. It’s a great complement to any burger or sandwich.

If I want bold flavors, I order the Smoke & Pepper Burger. This burger is big on flavor and can easily be made gluten-free. The only substitution you will need to request is a gluten-free bun instead of the default brioche bun. Red Robin’s Smoke & Pepper Burger is Red Robin’s ½ pound black Angus pattie topped with extra sharp cheddar cheese, black-peppered bacon, romaine lettuce, dill pickles, and Smoke & Pepper ketchup. If you love bacon and big flavors, you will love this burger!

  1. Thank you for this article. I’ve recently discovered how wonderful Red Robin is! I usually order the simple burger with bacon, and I’m relieved you order the bacon too, because on their allergen menu, it keeps crossing off bacon when I’m trying to put a bacon burger together. I’ve already eaten a few burgers without issues. I wonder why their menu crosses it out as a gluten free suggestion? Thanks!
