There are so many burger options out there, it is hard to keep track. Some are better than others, and I must say, The Habit Burger Grill is at the top of the list.

The Habit Burger Grill has amazing charbroiled burgers. Even if you’re not into burgers or beef, that’s not a reason to skip a meal at this place.
The Habit Burger Grill has a range of menu items that are popular with fans. Such items include sandwiches like the Crispy Chicken Sandwich or Tenderloin Steak Sandwich.
There are crispy side orders such as Onion Rings and Tempura Green Beans. The Santa Monica Cobb salad is probably enough to be a full meal for many people.
These items are some of the most popular items on the menu, and I had the chance to try all of them. After my review, you may be ready to try at least a few other items as well.
Teriyaki Charburger
Normally when we think of Teriyaki, we have visions of stacks of chicken teriyaki at an Asian restaurant.
Luckily, when you step into the Habit Burger, you can combine your craving for Japanese-inspired flavors and beef with the Teriyaki Charburger.
I was so excited when I tried this for the first time. One of my favorite fruits is pineapple.
I bit into a nice grilled chunk of this fruit on top of a chargrilled beef patty.
Other ingredients include teriyaki sauce, of course, fresh lettuce, tomato, pickle, and caramelized onions. A fresh toasted bun tops it off.
If you are a cheese lover like me, the cheeseburger version of this is also available.
Charburger
Keep it simple with the Original Charburger that started it all.
This was the first Burger I tasted when I came to Habit Burger. The burger itself is not fancy but is simply fresh and delicious.
The standout feature for me was the freshness of all the ingredients, and I just love a good flame-broiled burger.
In addition to the chargrilled beef patty, the burger comes with lettuce, tomato, and pickle. A typical burger is about 900-1100 calories.
If it is too simple for you, do what I did and add some gluten-free options like avocado.
You can also add caramelized onions, barbecue sauce, cheese, and more. Customize this burger as you wish.
Crispy Chicken Sandwich
I’m not a big beef eater, but of course, I make an exception when I step into The Habit Burger Grill.
Despite specializing in amazing burgers, Habit Grill also provides tasty chicken sandwiches.
My personal favorite is the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. When I first tasted the sandwich, I was thrown back by the natural spices that add a subtle kick to the sandwich.
It’s a good-sized chicken breast double-breaded in their spicy batter. In addition to the breaded chicken breast, a typical sandwich comes with lettuce, tomato, pickle, and mayo on between a potato bun.
Grilled Chicken Salad
Believe it or not, sometimes I will go to a burger joint like The Habit Burger Grill and want something healthy.
Sure, burgers come with lettuce and tomatoes, but that’s not enough vegetables for my daily needs. Luckily, I can get a Grilled Chicken Salad here. It has become something that I frequently order when I want to be good.
The salad itself comes with a generous amount of chopped chargrilled chicken breast. The salad base is romaine, green leaf, red leaf, iceberg lettuce, and red cabbage.
Cucumbers, red onions, carrots, and juicy Roma tomatoes round out the vegetable list for the salad. The salad may fill your stomach just as quickly as a burger will.
Santa Barbara Cobb
If I don’t want to overindulge at The Habit Burger Grill, there is another awesome salad option.
The humongous Santa Barbara Cobb is a must-try item for salad lovers. The Habit’s version of a Cobb classic comes with typical items such as Iceberg and Romaine lettuce, blue cheese crumbles, avocado, smoked bacon, and egg.
Chargrilled chicken breast also tops the salad off. The red wine vinaigrette is an excellent dressing compliment to the salad.
However, I often substitute my dressing option for sweet mustard. If chicken is not your thing feel free to add tenderloin steak or ahi tuna instead.
Tempura Green Beans
As much as I love fries, sometimes I want an alternative side dish, especially when getting tons of calories in a burger.
Habit Burger has taken it upon themselves to add a twist to green vegetables with their Tempura Green Beans. These are two items I never would think about combining.
I was pleasantly surprised as I bit into the crunchy tempura. As I continued chewing, the soft, gentle taste of the green bean came to light. It’s a nice change of pace when you want a different way to get vegetables.
You can eat these plain or have fun dipping in a side of ranch dressing.
Hershey’s Chocolate Sundae
Like most burger places, you can come here for some frozen indulgence.
In addition to hand-spun shakes, you can also get a freshly made Hershey’s Chocolate Sundae. They make the sundae with one of my childhood favorites: vanilla soft serve ice cream.
Then simple additions such as whipped cream, nuts, and Hershey’s chocolate top off as a decadent way to end your meal here. These generous sundaes have as many as 840 to 990 calories.
Sometimes I come here just for the sundae—it’s worth it. Plus, it is hard to find room for a burger after eating one of these treats.
Onion Rings
As mentioned before, The Habit Burger Grill provides crunchy alternatives to french fries.
One such item is the Onion Rings. You don’t always see onion rings on a menu at any fast food joint these days. Luckily, The Habit Burger Grill is an exception.
They come perfectly round and fried to a perfect crisp whenever I order them. I can never eat just one, no matter how hard I try.
I make note of the roundness because I hate when onion rings lose their shape and get soggy. I have not had that problem with at Habit’s so far.
Tenderloin Steak Sandwich
Since Habit does charbroiled burgers so well, I’d often wondered how their steak would taste.
So one day, I decided to skip the burger and opt for a Tenderloin Steak Sandwich. The sandwich was everything I would want a juicy steak sandwich to be.
The sandwich consists of marinated beef tenderloins, green leaf lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo. It’s not fancy, but it is tasty. You can choose between adding BBQ or teriyaki sauce to flavor it further.
A fresh ciabatta roll serves as the base. So if you want to try the other beef options at this burger joint, this sandwich is worth a try.
Portabella Charburger
I love mushrooms. So, imagine my excitement when I got to try the Portabella Charburger.
The meat is as delicious as your typical Charburger.
What stood out was the generous amount of portobello mushrooms. I can’t stand when I order something with mushrooms only to get a few. That was not a problem with this decadent item.
In addition to the portobello mushrooms, the sandwich comes with melted American cheese, tomato, lettuce, caramelized onions, and a yummy roasted garlic aioli spread.
If you love mushrooms with your meat, give this burger a try today.
In case you haven’t noticed, I enjoy the overall menu at The Habit Burger Grill. I’ve heard so many good things about their food before going there. I was not disappointed.
Whether I’m in the mood for a healthy salad, a mouth-watering burger, a frozen dessert, or some crispy sides, I won’t be at a loss for choices at this burger place.
I highly recommend that you give it a try if you want a good quality made-to-order meal or treat. I am one someone who saves my meat consumption for particular places.
The Habit Burger Grill is undoubtedly one of those places that I will continue to go to when I need a good beef item. Luckily there are even more menu items for me to try, and I almost don’t know where to start. I hope you enjoy these Habit Burger Grill items as much as I do.
