However, Applebee’s is a highly underrated happy hour destination. When I get off work and want a budget-friendly, fun place to meet up with friends, Applebee’s is always at the top of my list. Applebee’s happy hour deals offer some of the best bargains you can find at a chain restaurant bar. The atmosphere is always friendly, and the cocktails are dependably delicious. The Applebee’s menu feature great American classics, like burgers and steak, and have platters for even the pickiest eaters. Happy hour is a great way to get your food fix without breaking the bank. It doesn’t hurt to prepare for your happy hour plans, which is why I always like to have a few menu deals in mind when picking a place to get dinner and drinks. While they aren’t currently offering any dollar drink specials, many customers are hoping they bring this one back! These monthly drink specials range from basic drinks like a Long Island iced tea to more complex beverages, like a mai tai or hurricane cocktail. Trying out the Applebee’s one-dollar drink special is a great way to be a little festive and have a drink that I normally wouldn’t order. The rotating nature of the special means that I have had many opportunities to try new things. Note that Applebee’s will sometimes swap out the one-dollar drink special for another monthly drink special, especially during the summer months. We’re hoping they offer a new $1 drink soon!

The Applebee’s summer $5 mucho cocktails special is fantastic. Instead of the normal one-dollar drink of the month, this happy hour deal features a selection of extra fancy cocktails for only five dollars each. Examples of mucho cocktails include a Sunset Mana Rita, Tipsy Shark, Blue Bahama Mama, and All-American Mucho. All the cocktails are made with premium liquors and come in cute mucho cocktail glasses. There’s nothing better than getting a top-shelf quality cocktail for only five dollars. I also love that you can get your mucho cocktail to-go at certain locations. It’s perfect for enjoying a summer evening outside with friends as you sip on something fun. The festive drinks that they bring out during the summer holidays are another plus; keep an eye out for the fun Fourth of July specials!

2 for $20 Deals

Among Applebee’s fans, the two-for-20 dollar deals are legendary. For only 20 dollars, customers can get one appetizer and two entrees. Pair this with some happy hour drink deals, and you have yourself a satisfactory dining experience at a wonderfully low price. It’s perfect for a low-key date with your partner or a catch-up dinner with one of your friends. The two-for-20 menu has various delicious menu items, ranging from a classic cheeseburger to tasty chicken dishes. It’s one of my favorite ways to make a full meal. That 20 dollars does change with location, though, so don’t be surprised if your bill goes up by a couple of bucks if you’re in a high-end area.
