Chick-Fil-A Salad Menu Options

Learn what salads Chick-Fil-A offers and which dressings pair well with them.

Chick-Fil-A is well known for its tasty, crispy chicken and chicken sandwiches, but do you know they have excellent salads and delightful salad dressing options?

Chick Fil A Salad and waffles fries

Getting a salad at a fast-food restaurant may seem strange, but Chick-Fil-A salads are fresh, tasty, and satisfying.

They use high-quality ingredients, including mixed greens, fruits, and nuts, which create a healthy meal filled with a variety of tastes and textures. They also have several salad dressing options to choose from.

In this article, I’ll give you the low-down on the best Chick-Fil-A salads and dressings and share what I love about them.

That way, the next time you’re at Chick-Fil-A and craving something tasty but a bit healthier than the standard options, you’ll know what to order.

Market Salad

Chick-Fil-A’s Market Salad is a colorful menu item filled with delicious, fresh ingredients.

It starts with a fresh bed of crisp greens that is as filling as it is delightful.

The blueberries, strawberries, and apples add fruitiness and a lovely tart flavor to the mix, while the blue cheese, harvest nut granola, and roasted almonds give the salad a savory touch and a nice crunch.

This salad is one of the most delicious, highly nutritious, and satisfying meals you can order from Chick-Fil-A. I love it because it’s affordable but tastes gourmet.

Cobb salad

The Chick-Fil-A Cobb Salad is arguably one of the most popular choices at the fast food joint, and for good reasons.

This salad is full of flavorful, noteworthy ingredients. The hard-boiled egg goes perfectly with the crispy bacon, while the roasted corn and tomatoes add some sweetness as well as lovely pops of color.

And to top it all off — cheese, please! This salad incorporates Cheddar and Monterey jack cheeses for a savory touch that pulls it all together.

It’s a little heavier than the Market Salad, which is nice if you’re on the hungrier side or want more protein in your diet.

Spicy South West Salad

Chick-Fil-A’s Spicy Southwest Salad is truly something to write home about. It’s zesty, savory, spicy, and even a little sweet, thanks to the roasted corn and grape tomatoes.

It includes black beans and red bell peppers that give it southwest flavors. It also incorporates cheese for some saltiness and has poblano chilies that give it its memorable spiciness.

This fantastic flavor combination will leave your taste buds tingling in the best way possible.

What I love most about this salad is that you can get all these flavors but still have a meal under 700 calories. Plus, you can request spicy chicken instead of the regular chicken filet.

Creamy Salad Dressing

Chick-Fil-A’s Creamy Salsa Salad Dressing is a delectable option for your salad that will rev up the southwest flavors through its cumin, tomatoes, hot peppers, and garlic.

This option is a delicious salad dressing that goes well on any salad and can even make a basic meal shine.

I like it the most with Chick-Fil-A’s Spicy Southwest Salad since the southwest flavors in the dressing complement the southwest flavors of the salad very well.

At 290 calories, it’s certainly not the healthiest option, but I think it’s still worth getting every once in a while.

The flavor goes a long way, and the creaminess spreads, so you can add less dressing than you usually would.

Fat-Free Honey Mustard

The Fat-Free Honey Mustard is Chick-Fil-A’s take on a classic honey mustard dressing, and it doesn’t disappoint.

It has all the sweetness and tanginess you would expect from honey mustard but without all the calories.

At only 90 calories per serving, this is an excellent option if you want something sweet but not too indulgent.

I like to pair it with the Cobb Salad since the sweetness of the honey mustard helps to offset the savoriness of the ingredients in the salad.

All in all, this is an excellent dressing that will become a fast favorite.

Garden Herb Ranch

The Garlic Herb Ranch is a fantastic, flavorful dressing with a traditional taste, similar to the Honey Mustard.

I appreciate the amount of garlic that’s in the taste. Some people might find this a bit too strong, but if you love garlic as I do, you’ll be a fan.

This dressing is also versatile and goes well with any of the salads on Chick-Fil-A’s menu. I think it’s a great option if you want something that’s not too sweet or too savory.

This dressing is so good that I like to order extra so I can add it to wraps and sandwiches at home.

Light Italian Dressing

The Light Italian Dressing is healthier than a classic, full-fat Italian dressing. It has all the same flavors — herbs, vinegar, and oil — but with far fewer calories.

This dressing is perfect if you want something to add some flavor to your salad without going overboard.

This dressing is also an ideal option if you’re looking for something that’s not too sweet.

I like to pair this Italian dressing with a Caesar Salad since the flavors mend well together, and it’s lighter than classic Caesar dressing.

People also like to pair this Italian dressing with basic salads with fewer ingredients because it allows the herby flavors of the dressing to shine.

Zesty Apple Cider French Dressing

Chick-Fil-A’s Zesty Apple Cider French Dressing is one of my favorite salad dressings of all fast food restaurants.

I appreciate that it’s a unique flavor that you can’t just find anywhere.

One of the best Chick-Fil-A salads and dressings together is this Zesty Apple Cider French Dressing with the Market Salad.

The sweet, tangy dressing with the crunch of the apples and sweetness of the blueberries and strawberries makes for a perfect bite every time.

You’ll love this dressing if you like the flavors of spice, vinegar, and sweetness combined, as well as if you enjoy complete, robust flavor profiles.

Avocado Lime Ranch Dressing

The restaurant’s Avocado Lime Ranch Dressing is another of my favorites because combining avocado and lime is always a winning idea.

These two flavors tend to pair well because the lime’s acidity cuts through the buttery goodness of avocado.

They make an especially appealing duo for a salad dressing. Plus, the healthy fats in the avocado will keep you satiated for longer.

Like the Zesty Apple Cider French Dressing with the Market Salad, another great Chick-Fil-A salad and dressing combination is this Avocado Lime Ranch Dressing matched with the Cobb Salad.

Given the hard-boiled egg, bacon, and cheese in the Cobb, it only makes sense to pair it with an avocado-based dressing for the full Brunch salad effect!

Light Balsamic Dressing

Last but not least, Chick-Fil-A’s Light Balsamic Dressing is a healthier alternative to a classic, full-fat balsamic dressing.

As with the Light Italian dressing, it has the same flavors — real balsamic vinegar, oil, and spices — but with only 80 calories.

This dressing is perfect if you want something to add some flavor to a classic salad.

Alternatively, it can also work well if you have a more complex salad at home and want to play it safe with the dressing.

Either way, it’s a great option if you want something on the lighter side. But there’s no salad that wouldn’t taste delicious with a bit of this dressing on it.

Final Thoughts

I hope you enjoyed learning about all the best Chick-Fil-A salads and dressings.

Americans eat a lot of fast food because it’s convenient, affordable, and delicious. However, when you want convenience but a few more greens and other colors in your meal besides brown and beige, a Chick-Fil-A salad and dressing combination is an excellent option.

These are the best Chick-Fil-A salads and dressings, in my opinion, but try them out for yourself and see what you think.
