Bagni Delfino has a storied history stretching back to 1968 in Sorrento.

It’s a family-owned and operated restaurant.

I heard so much praise of this establishment that I decided to make it the first restaurant I visited in Sorrento. I adored the location on the water.

Sit on the terrace by the large windows and take in the breathtaking seaside view.

Bagni Delfino is also easy to find, as it’s just 10 meters from Villa del Maggiore.

The food is spectacularly fresh, as well. Italian seafood dishes are among this restaurant’s specialties.

I devoured my seafood risotto and tiramisu to finish.

Make a divine meal at Il Buco part of your experience of central Sorrento.

You’ll find it in the Piazza Sant’Antonio, conveniently close to the Basilica di Sant’Antonio.

This restaurant earned a Michelin Star in 2022. Need I say more? I will anyway!

I can’t help but gush about this restaurant’s chic atmosphere, unique decor, and superb cuisine.

As a fine dining establishment, Il Buco offers an outstanding selection of appetizers, first and second courses, and tasting menus.

It also offers luscious desserts. A few stand-out creations here are the Ravioli, Linguini, Riccola, and Merluzzo. One especially decadent dessert is the Mousse al Cioccolato.


O Parruchiano La Favorita

I was immediately impressed by the artistic decor when I stepped in the door at O Parruchiano La Favorita. Amazingly, this restaurant is set in a lemon grove.

And all of this natural beauty is in central Sorrento. Whether you sit indoors or outdoors, you’ll have lovely views of the lemon trees.

You’ll feel like you’ve stepped back into a different time at O Parruchiano La Favorita.

Indeed, this restaurant is meant to evoke 19th-century Italy.

While there are many exquisite dishes here, this restaurant is best known for its cannelloni. I tried it, and I must tell you, don’t leave Sorrento without eating this gourmet delight.

Like so many other beautiful Sorrento restaurants, Ristorante Museo Caruso specializes in gourmet Italian and Mediterranean dishes.

You’ll discover it in central Sorrento, and everything here is so delightfully presented. As well as the delicious meals, Ristorante Museo Caruso offers an impressive wine menu.

The wine cellar here is legendary, so make sure you enjoy a glass or bottle with your meal.

Ask the welcoming and knowledgeable waitstaff for meal and wine recommendations.

There is a wide range of menu options here, including tasting and a la carte menus. Of course, there are also appetizers, pasta, and second courses.

I highly recommend the Stuffed Ravioli with Caciotta Cheese.


Trattoria da Emilia

Trattoria da Emilia is a proudly family-operated restaurant. It first opened way back in 1947, and today it is run by the founder’s grandchildren.

This laid-back trattoria with a casual atmosphere sits right on the water.

I felt this eating spot was one of my most authentically local experiences in Sorrento.

As appropriate for a restaurant right by the sea, Trattoria da Emilia features many seafood dishes.

Your mouth will start watering as soon as you arrive and smell all the delicious aromas emerging from the kitchens.

If you’re a vegetarian or need gluten-free dishes, ask for the options here. Reach Trattoria da Emilia via Marina Grande 62.


Terrazza Bosquet

Terrazza Bosquet is an elegant seaside restaurant in Sorrento.

One of my favorite features of this renowned local restaurant is the airy dining room with large windows, providing spectacular views of the water.

Like most popular gourmet culinary establishments in Sorrento, you should make your reservations here as soon as you can. It’s in high demand.

It also has its own sommelier. Terrazza Bosquet is included in the Michelin Guide, where it is lauded.

This is more of a casual restaurant, but the food is top-notch. When I visited Accento, I chose the Beef Tagliata as my main course.

It was excellent, with Bourbon-smoked beef paired with confit tomatoes, rocket salad pesto, and potatoes.

Yummy! And don’t forget starters first.

I highly recommend the Eggplant Parmigiana. When it comes to pasta, there is a wonderful selection. How does Tortelli and Prawns sound?

You’ll discover Accento, about half a kilometer from Piazza Tasso.

This provides a relaxing spot for you to lounge in the sun.

Presentation, as well as deliciousness, are key at Don Pedro Sorrento. You’ll discover Don Pedro Sorrento in close proximity to Piazza Tasso.

Don Pedro Sorrento offers Mediterranean, Southern-Italian, and Neapolitan flavors. And like so many other Sorrento restaurants, the views of the water are mesmerizing.

Make sure you combine your meal with the perfect glass or bottle of wine.

I adore the traditional decor and cozy setting at Fuoro51. This restaurant is conveniently located just half a kilometer from Piazza Tasso.

When I had dinner at this popular local restaurant, I had the Sliced Beef with parmesan balsamic vinegar, and plum.

For my side dish, I had the refreshing Carrots Alla Scapece.


L’Antica Trattoria

Sorrento certainly isn’t short of well-established restaurants with storied histories. L’Antica Trattoria was established in 1930.

It’s a charming setting for one of your many Sorrento meals. I was enchanted by the setting both outside the restaurant and in its welcoming dining room.

L’Antica Trattoria is found in the center of Sorrento, so it’s easy to find. It’s just across from the cathedral’s Roman bell tower. What a lovely setting!

The menu here is fantastic. For your starter, consider the Crispy Red Prawns. That is what I chose, and it was memorably delicious.

Main courses offer great variety, with options such as the Beef Filet, Lamb Chops, Filet of Pork, and more.


La Cantinaccia del Popolo

For casual dining with delectable flavors in Sorrento, La Cantinaccia del Popolo is one of the area’s favorites.

As you’d guess, La Cantinaccia del Popolo specializes in Italian cuisine. I enjoyed this restaurant’s cozy traditional atmosphere and decor.

You’ll discover southern Italian, Italian, Campania, and Neapolitan cuisine at this well-known local restaurant.

If you’re a vegetarian, you’ll appreciate that La Cantinaccia del Popolo offers vegetarian options.

Looking for takeaway in Sorrento? This restaurant is certainly one of the best options. Of course, you can dine in, too.

La Cantinaccia del Popolo is a short distance from the Museo Correale Sorrento. It’s also half a kilometer from Pizza Tasso.

We all love pizza. Well, Ristorante Pizzeria Tasso has won an award for being among the “70 Best Restaurants with Pizzeria in the World.”

Not only is the pizza here luscious and flavorful, but this restaurant’s setting is welcoming and comfortable.

Like so many other iconic Sorrento restaurants, Ristorante Pizzeria Tasso is situated on the water. Making the location even more convenient is how it’s found between the town’s two primary squares.

Go ahead and discover Ristorante Pizzeria Tasso close to Piazza Tasso. I was enchanted by the decor (as well as the pizza) at this well-known Sorrento restaurant.

There are other culinary creations, too, including pasta dishes.


Ristorante Zi Ntonio

Ristorante Zi Ntonio is all about seafood, risotto, and pasta. You can’t go wrong with that! Ristorante Zi’Ntonio has won Travelers’ Choice awards, and it’s famous for its welcoming staff and traditional atmosphere.

This restaurant is housed in a charming two-century building, and you’ll adore all the wood in the structure and decoration.

Ristorante Zi Ntonio has an excellent A La Carte menu. This establishment offers vegetarian as well as standard options.

Order your preferred Starter and Main Course, as well as a decadent dessert. As well as the delectable cuisine, one of my favorite things about Ristorante Zi Ntonio is how it’s so close to the Piazza Tasso.
