Bagni Delfino has a storied history stretching back to 1968 in Sorrento.
It’s a family-owned and operated restaurant.
I heard so much praise of this establishment that I decided to make it the first restaurant I visited in Sorrento. I adored the location on the water.
Sit on the terrace by the large windows and take in the breathtaking seaside view.
Bagni Delfino is also easy to find, as it’s just 10 meters from Villa del Maggiore.
The food is spectacularly fresh, as well. Italian seafood dishes are among this restaurant’s specialties.

It was excellent, with Bourbon-smoked beef paired with confit tomatoes, rocket salad pesto, and potatoes.
Yummy! And don’t forget starters first.
I highly recommend the Eggplant Parmigiana. When it comes to pasta, there is a wonderful selection. How does Tortelli and Prawns sound?

Sorrento certainly isn’t short of well-established restaurants with storied histories. L’Antica Trattoria was established in 1930.
It’s a charming setting for one of your many Sorrento meals. I was enchanted by the setting both outside the restaurant and in its welcoming dining room.
L’Antica Trattoria is found in the center of Sorrento, so it’s easy to find. It’s just across from the cathedral’s Roman bell tower. What a lovely setting!
The menu here is fantastic. For your starter, consider the Crispy Red Prawns. That is what I chose, and it was memorably delicious.
