  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar
  • 1/2 cup onion diced
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted and divided
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups cornflakes lightly crushed

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF.

  3. Melt butter in a large skillet. Cook mushrooms 6 to 8 minutes.

  5. Stir in flour. Cook 1 minute.
  6. Whisk in broth and half-and-half. Simmer 5 minutes until thick.
  7. Stir in Worcestershire, salt, pepper and Parmesan.
  8. Toss sauce with green beans and 1 cup fried onions.
  9. Spread in a greased 9×13 dish.
  10. Bake 15 minutes.
  11. Top with remaining fried onions. Bake 5 to 10 minutes more.
