Although Shoney’s is known for its buffet, there are many other options on its menu.

After visiting Shoney’s many times, I’ve come up with a list of my favorite items on their menu. I promise that you won’t be disappointed by any of these tasty items.

The next time you visit this classic American diner, you will be ready to satisfy your cravings and leave the restaurant a happy camper. I promise my recommendations won’t let you down.

All-Star Breakfast

The all-star breakfast is the perfect meal to start your day. It comes with two eggs of any style, hash browns, your choice of bacon or sausage, and a buttermilk biscuit.

I highly recommend the biscuits because they are some of the best I’ve ever had.

If you want to take the breakfast to the next level, you can always order a side of gravy for your biscuit.

The All-Star Breakfast will give you the energy you need to power through your day.

Shoney’s Sliders

The sliders at Shoney’s are so good that you’ll want to order more than one.

They come with your choice of beef, pulled pork, or chicken and are served on a soft bun with pickles and onions.

The Shoney’s Sliders are mini-burgers that come with American cheese, bacon, and Shoney’s secret sauce.

These sliders are the right size for a snack or a light meal. They are also very affordable, so you can order a few without breaking the bank.

The beef sliders are my personal favorite, but you really can’t go wrong with any of the three options.

You could argue that the secret sauce is some of the best food at Shoney’s. I almost always ask for extra secret sauce on the side.

Jumbo Chicken Wings

I love chicken wings. They hold a special place in my heart and my stomach.

Pancake Breakfast

If you’re a fan of pancakes, then you’ll love Shoney’s pancake breakfast. This is what I order when I’m craving something sweet for breakfast, and I’m starving.

Onion Rings

Onion rings are a close second behind chicken wings for my favorite bar food.

Unfortunately, many restaurants do an awful job making onion rings. Shoney’s is not one of those places.
