7 Delicious Store-Bought Frozen Egg Rolls

Make egg rolls at home with these popular frozen brands.

Egg rolls are my favorite appetizer to buy from any Asian restaurant, but sometimes I don’t want to go through the hassle of going out, ordering, picking it up, and then taking it home.

Egg rolls with chicken and vegetable

On nights like those, frozen egg rolls are a convenient option to hit that urge without leaving my couch.

Egg rolls are great as snacks, as sides for lunch, and on the occasional 2 am night when I wake up starving but don’t want to cook.

The Best Frozen Egg Rolls

In this article, we’ll explore the best frozen egg rolls to keep ready in your freezer for when the craving strikes.

365 by Whole Foods Market, Vegetable Egg Rolls

These fantastic egg rolls are my favorite vegetarian choice regarding at-home take-out.

The packages come with four egg rolls that I pop in my air fryer at 400 for 6 minutes, but they come with oven baking and deep-frying instructions.

They don’t come with sauce, but I think they’re great in a sweet chili sauce.

Chung’s Chicken Egg Rolls

Chung’s egg rolls burst with flavor and have that satisfying crunch you’d expect from a good, deep-fried egg roll.

Feel Good Foods, Egg Rolls Gluten-Free Chicken

Don’t worry, I didn’t forget about my celiac friends.

Feel Good Food’s gluten-free egg rolls have a great texture that doesn’t compromise flavor.

They have all the same goodness as other egg rolls without soy sauce and traditional wrapping. The brand also offers a vegetable option.

P.F. Chang’s Home Menu Chicken Egg Rolls

The P.F. Chang’s brand name implies a high expectation regarding their food, and their frozen egg rolls don’t disappoint!

The package has a sweet and sour sauce and approximately eight egg rolls. Unlike the others on this list, Chang’s uses dark meat chicken instead of light.

Pagoda Chicken Egg Rolls

Pagoda uses all white meat in its chicken egg rolls and a veggie blend of cabbage, carrots, onions, and celery.

The pack doesn’t have sauces, but I recommend a sweet and sour sauce or duck sauce. You can purchase these at any Walmart in the frozen section.

Trader Joe’s Chicken & Vegetable Spring Roll

I know, I know, spring rolls aren’t the same as an egg roll, but these were too good to pass up!

Trader Joe’s offers spring rolls in both chicken and a vegetarian option, and both feature an incredibly crispy, crunchy outer shell that breaks apart in your mouth.

Minh Pork Egg Rolls

These are the best frozen egg rolls I’ve come across that feature pork as their main ingredient.

The wrapper is a little thinner than the egg rolls you may be used to and is somewhere between a spring roll and an egg roll. I think it’s delicious and a nice change in texture.

Final Thoughts

Frozen egg rolls are a homebody’s best friend and help keep my dinners interesting when I don’t want to run around for take-out.

My top choice for the best frozen egg rolls will always be the 365 by Whole Foods’ vegetable egg rolls. There’s something about them that duplicates the experience of going out!

Most packages offer baking, deep frying, or microwaving as top options for cooking these bad boys. If you have an air fryer, you can pop a few in at 400 for five to eight minutes.

I suggest duck sauce or sweet and sour if the package doesn’t have a dipping sauce.
