The 16 Best Einstein Bros. Menu Items

Stepping into an Einstein Bros. is like stepping into an authentic New York bagel shop, but with a much more creative menu! For almost 30 years, this establishment has been baking fresh bagels every morning to pair with their creamy shmears and sandwich ingredients.

Einstein Bros. Bagels Quick-Casual Restaurant

Einstein Bros. always uses natural flavors, cage-free eggs, and simple ingredients, so you can be confident that you’re eating the best. With locations in almost every state, Einstein Bros. you can get a New York bagel anywhere in the country!

Einstein Bros. Bagels has it all: an extensive menu of bagels, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, delicious sweets, and the perfect drink to accompany any meal. They have all the classic bagels like plain, sesame, and everything, baked by their master bagel makers.

If you’re looking to try something a little different, there are some out there and delicious bagels to try: everything from green chile to apple cinnamon. Read on to see which ones are my favorite!

French Toast Bagel

French Toast probably isn’t the first thing you’d think of when you imagine a flavored bagel, but don’t let that deter you!

This is two of the best breakfast foods in one: a soft and fluffy bagel topped with cinnamon streusel crunch, brown sugar, and a hint of cinnamon.

The smell of this bagel alone will make your mouth water.

While Einstein Bros. doesn’t have maple syrup, I’d recommend getting this bagel with strawberry cream cheese.

It’s light and fluffy so it won’t overpower the cinnamon, and the slight tang from the strawberries pairs perfectly with the vanilla and brown sugar.

Asiago Bagel

Take a little bit of Italy with you on your morning commute with this sharp and rich Asiago Bagel!

Asiago is a unique Italian cheese that starts off soft, but when it melts on top of this bagel it adds a crispy crust that will keep you coming back for more.

Better yet, Einstein Bros.’ bagel is unique among asiago bagels because it’s not just asiago.

This bagel actually has three kinds of cheese on top: asiago, parmesan, and romano. This bagel is a true trip around Italy!

It’s so flavorful that plain cream cheese is my favorite shmear, you don’t need anything else!

Blueberry Bagel

This sweet and bright bagel is a total classic, perfect for breakfast or a 2 pm pick-me-up.

The Einstein Bros. doesn’t use any artificial flavors, just fresh blueberries that will brighten up even the most dreary day.

I particularly love their version of the iconic bagel because they use just the right amount of blueberries—you can still taste the bagel, but get a berry in every bite,

This bagel is simple enough to go with almost any shmear, but absolutely nothing can beat it toasted with a healthy layer of butter.

The butter will melt perfectly over the toasted bagel and is the ideal accompaniment to your morning coffee.

Chocolate Chip Bagel

Half dessert, half breakfast, this slightly sinful bagel isn’t just for kids! Einstein Bros.’ signature plain bagel is infused and topped with classic chocolate chips for a sweet and simple bite.

Even though the chocolate chips have a decadent, creamy flavor, this bagel is actually dairy-free, so anyone can enjoy it!

Toasting this bagel is an absolute must—the chocolate chips melt beautifully and infuse into the rest of the bagel.

Many shmears would work with this bagel, but my favorites are classic plain, or the strawberry when I’m feeling a little adventurous!

Apple Cinnamon Bagel

Another unusual choice for a bagel, but once you try it once, you’ll keep coming back.

It starts with Einstein’s Apple Cinnamon Bagel, topped with an actual mini apple pie. The pie has fire-roasted Fuji apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

Then, the whole thing is covered in their delicious cinnamon crunch streusel topping.

This is a true dessert, and it’s sweet and complex enough that I’d recommend sticking to plain cream cheese or butter, so as not to detract from the flavor.

Einstein Bros. describes it as apple pie you can take with you anywhere, and I have to say I agree!

Avocado Toast

One of the most trendy brunch foods of the decade, is there anything that could make this delicious breakfast better? Put it on a bagel, of course!

The Bros take their unbeatable plain bagel and cover it with fresh, smashed avocado.

Then they top it with their signature Everything Spice Mix of sesame seeds, poppy seeds, onion, garlic, caraway seeds, kosher salt, and black pepper.

A plain bagel with smashed avocado might sound a bit too simple compared to the fancy avocado toast you might have had at brunch.

However, their spice mix is so delicious that it elevates each bite to something really special. I especially love the addition of caraway seeds, which add a nutty hint to the mix.

Cheesy Hash Brown

What’s as good as a bagel? Potatoes. And what’s as good as potatoes? Cheese. What’s better than all of them? A bagel topped with potatoes and cheese, of course.

This is truly the ultimate breakfast—in fact, it’s one breakfast on top of another and it’s amazing!

Einstein Bros. starts with their time-honored potato bagel and tops it with hashbrown potatoes melted into place with cheese.

Not just one cheese though, but six: mozzarella, provolone, cheddar, parmesan, romano, and asiago.

For those mornings when you wish you had time for a full diner breakfast, this bagel totally hits the spot.

Cinnamon Raisin Bagel

Cinnamon raisin bagels are the most classic sweet bagel and for good reason.

Even the die-hard classic fans who don’t usually stray away from sesame or poppyseed love a cinnamon raisin on occasion, and the Einstein Bros. version is one of the best around.

The cinnamon is swirled from bottom to top, and there are just enough raisins to have one in every bite.

This Cinnamon Raisin Bagel is simple enough to go with almost any shmear, and the classic is just toasted with butter.

But, if you’re up for an adventure, order it toasted with Onion and Chive shmear. Trust me on this one!

Green Chile Bagel

New York City and Mexico City meet in the middle with this bagel.

This southwest-inspired bagel is topped with roasted green chiles and Einstein’s signature blend of cheeses: melty mozzarella, provolone, and cheddar, and crispy parmesan, asiago, and romano.

This sharp and rich bagel is great with any of the savory shmears, but my favorite pairing by far is the Jalapeño Salsa Shmear.

This salsa meets cream cheese is double whipped and loaded with Jalapeños, tomatoes, red pepper, and red onion.

The zesty and refreshing shmear goes perfectly with the cheesy and spicy bagel.

Farmhouse Bagel

Get down on the farm with this hearty breakfast combo sandwich. This delicious feast combines all of the best parts of breakfast into one insane sandwich.

It starts with Einstein’s Cheesy Hash Brown Gourmet Bagel smothered in country pepper shmear. The bagel is then filled with cage-free eggs, thick-cut bacon, smoked ham, and cheddar cheese.

This sandwich is a true commitment, but if you’re hungry enough, nothing beats it.

Any fan of classic bacon, egg, and cheese bagel needs to try this variety for a whole new experience.

What really elevates this bagel is the gravy-inspired shmear, which is a unique offering from Einstein Bros.

Jalapeño Cheddar Bagel

Coffee not cutting it this morning? If you need something to really wake you up, put a little spice into your breakfast with the Jalapeño Cheddar Bagel.

Einstein’s chewy and fluffy plain bagel is topped with ample sliced jalapeños and enough melted cheddar to drip down the sides.

This bagel is best when it’s extra toasted. The jalapeños will bubble with the melted cheese, and the slight crunch from the extra toasty bagel pairs perfectly with the gooey cheese.

This bagel is great with any shmear, but my favorites are the Garden Veggie and the Onion and Chive.

Nova Lox

Any bagel lover will tell you that there’s nothing more classic and delicious than this, and they’d be right.

This beautiful combo starts with any bagel you’d like, topped with some classic cream cheese, fresh and crunchy red onions, a sprinkle of briny capers, and juicy tomato slices.

Then comes the star of the show: luscious, melt-in-your-mouth smoked Nova Lox salmon.

This unbeatable combo is great with any of Einstein Bros. savory or classic bagels.

If you want the quintessential Manhattan experience, go with the everything bagel.

If you’re looking to branch out, try the Asiago Bagel, or the green chile if you’re feeling really bold.

Potato Roll Bagel

When you have so many exciting options to choose from, something like the Potato Roll Bagel can go unnoticed.

But don’t sleep on this hidden gem, because it might just become your new favorite. I think we can all agree that what makes a bagel so addicting is the mix of fluffy inside and ultra-chewy outside.

Well, the potato bagel elevates both of these elements to a new level.

Einstein’s potato bagel is so perfectly textured it doesn’t even need to be toasted, and it goes with truly any shmear.

If you’re in the mood for a little sweetness, try this bagel with the Honey Almond shmear.

Pretzel Bagel

Pretzels and bagels actually have a lot in common, since they’re the two types of bread that are boiled before they’re baked, giving both that unbeatable chewiness.

What’s better than one of them, both of them together! Einstein Bros.’ Pretzel Bagel has the classic chewy bagel, and the top has the signature pretzel cracks, sprinkled with kosher salt.

This is the perfect bagel for any sandwich because it’s hearty enough to carry all the fillings, but plain enough not to overpower the other flavors.

My favorites are the Turkey, Bacon, & Avocado, and the Avocado Veg Out.

Six Cheese Bagel

What’s the only thing better than cheese? A ton of cheese on a bagel, of course!

One of Einstein Bros.’ most beloved bagels, this classic bagel is topped with, as the name suggests, six kinds of cheese.

The first layer is the melty mix, a combination of mozzarella, provolone, and cheddar. On top of that is a crispy finish of asiago, parmesan, and romano.

If you want the cheese to really shine through, try this bagel toasted with a layer of butter. If you’re looking for a little upgrade, try it with the Garden Veggie shmear.

Cheesy Wakin’ Bacon

For the true cheese fanatics out there, even the Six Cheese Bagel might not be enough for you.

As a connoisseur of cheese myself, when I’m craving something extra, the Cheesy Wakin’ Bagel truly hits the spot.

The sound of freshly sizzling bacon and brewing coffee while you wait for your sandwich will wake you right up.

It starts with the Six Cheese Bagel, toasted with melty cheddar on the inside of the top and the bottom, and stuffed with cage-free eggs and thick-cut bacon.

If you’re not sure about committing to all this richness, get it with one of Einstein’s refreshing iced teas, which cuts the richness perfectly.
