The Best Applebee’s Salads To Order

Check out which Applebee’s salads we think are the best.

Applebee’s is a local favorite in cities all across the United States, and for good reason. Between all the popular deals and appetizers, there’s no shortage of reasons to visit Applebee’s for a delicious lunch or dinner.

One thing that’s often overlooked at Applebee’s, however, is the wide variety of salads that they offer. I think most people are too distracted by the hand-crafted burgers or the addicting spinach and artichoke dip to even remember there’s a salad menu at all, and who can blame them?

That’s why, in order to help out my fellow salad-lovers out there, I put together this guide ranking all of the best Applebee’s salads that I feel everyone should try. You’ll find my list right down below, full of information about the best salads at Applebee’s.

Take a look at this list and then head down to an Applebee’s near you to get yourself a tasty bowl of greens.

Best Applebee’s Salads

  1. Grilled Oriental Chicken Salad
  2. Crispy Chicken Tender Salad
  3. Strawberry Balsamic Chicken Salad
  4. Blackened Shrimp Caesar Salad
  5. Oriental Chicken Salad
  6. Grilled Chicken Salad
  7. Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad

Grilled Oriental Chicken Salad

Taking the number one spot on my list is the Grilled Oriental Chicken Salad at Applebee’s. This dish has made my lists before on the subject of Applebee’s greatest menu items, but it really is one of the best salads you can order, too.

I love getting the Grilled Oriental Chicken Salad from Applebee’s. The fresh Asian greens are crunchy and delicious. Plus, this salad comes with almond slices and crispy rice noddles for even more flavor.

My favorite part about this Applebee’s dish is that it has some of the most delicious oriental vinaigrette dressing I’ve ever had.

Crispy Chicken Tender Salad

Up next, we have the Crispy Chicken Tender Salad. This salad is everything you could ever want in a salad. I usually prefer ordering this one as a lunch meal, but it works great for dinner as well.

The Crispy Chicken Tender Salad is a blast of flavor and it tastes healthy too, compared to some of the other menu items. Not only do you get to enjoy Applebee’s fresh green salad mix, but it also comes topped with a cheddar cheese blend and tomatoes, not to mention the crunchy, delicious fried chicken.

I highly recommend this salad to anyone because it’s hearty and filling.

Strawberry Balsamic Chicken Salad

The next entry on my list of best Applebee’s salads is the Strawberry Balsamic Chicken Salad. Now, depending on where you live, this salad may not be available at your local Applebee’s. It’s always best to check ahead online before you go looking for this salad.

That being said, if your local Applebee’s does offer the Strawberry Balsamic Chicken Salad, definitely give it a try.

I absolutely love the blend of the sweet strawberry with the balsamic vinegar. Plus, the red onions thrown in there add a delightful crunch. There’s really nothing to dislike about this one, if you ask me.

Blackened Shrimp Caesar Salad

The next salad on my list is the Blackened Shrimp Caesar Salad and this one is a real treat. The caesar salad is a classic on pretty much every restaurant’s menu, but Applebee’s takes theirs a bit further by adding delicious blackened shrimp on top.

The Blackened Shrimp Caesar Salad is the perfect blend of creamy caesar dressing with the fiery spice of blackened seasoning. Not to mention, the croutons add the absolute perfect crunch.

Definitely try the Blackened Shrimp Caesar Salad the next time you go to Applebee’s. It never disappoints.

Oriental Chicken Salad

The Oriental Chicken Salad is up next and this one is a surefire option for both lunch and dinner. The applebee’s Oriental Chicken Salad is great because, unlike it’s grilled counterpart, it comes with delicious, crispy fried chicken on top.

I love this salad because it has all the delicious fixings that the Grilled Oriental Chicken Salad has. The only difference is that they throw on their golden-brown fried chicken instead of the grilled.

This difference adds slightly more calories to the Oriental Chicken Salad, but I think it’s totally worth it if you’re in the mood for a delicious salad.

Grilled Chicken Salad

The next salad I want to mention is the Griled Chicken Salad. Much like the Crispy Chicken Tender Salad that I mentioned previously, this salad has the same delicious mix of greens, cheddar cheese blend, and tomatoes on top.

The only difference is that instead of the crispy fried chicken, they use their grilled chicken instead for a slight reduction in calories.

Just like the fried version, the Grilled Chicken Salad comes with the honey dijon mustard dressing that I can never get enough of. Did I mention you also get a breadstick with this one?

Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad

Last, but not least, is one of the most classic salads, a Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad. You can never go wrong with ordering this at most restaurants, and Applebee’s is no exception.

This salad uses the same bed of fresh greens and creamy, delicious caesar dressing as the blackened shrimp version, but instead of shrimp, you get their juicy grilled chicken on top to pull it all together.

In my opinion, I think the chicken caesar salad is a more filling version of the two, but they are both great options for going out to eat at Applebee’s.

Final Thoughts

Applebee’s is known for their salads, and now you can see why. Be sure to try each one of these salads so you can pick which one you like best. There’s never a wrong time to grab a healthy salad, so head on down to Applebee’s ASAP and grab yours.
