The 17 Best Jamba Juice Menu Items

Try the best smoothies and juices at Jamba Juice.

Jamba Juice is the biggest smoothie chain in the United States, topping its competition both in longevity and popularity.

A Store Front Sign For The Juice Bar Known As Jamba Juice

Founded in 1990, Jamba’s mission is to “make eating better, easier, and more fun!” Their website lists just under 800 locations, with more each week.

If you love smoothies, odds are you’ve been to a Jamba Juice.

While they offer other things, like sandwiches, wraps, and lately, breakfast foods, Jamba is famous for its smoothies. They exploded in popularity during the latest health craze when juice and smoothie cleanses were all the rage.

If you’re wondering: which Jamba Juice menu items are good? Which are healthy? Wait, are smoothies healthy, or are they too sweet?

Wonder no more. Here is a list of the best Jamba Juice smoothies and Juices. We didn’t include the actual food on this because it’s not what people go to Jamba for, but we will tell you what’s worth drinking!

Matcha Green Tea Blast

If you like matcha, you’ll like Jamba Juice’s Matcha Green Tea Blast.

It’s healthy, earthy, and delicious. The Matcha Green Tea Blast has 410 calories, which are partly from the dairy base.

It starts with soy milk and fat-free vanilla frozen yogurt and adds matcha green tea. This simple recipe doesn’t mean that it’s not delicious.

Matcha has natural antioxidants. It protects brain functions and could prevent cancer. This smoothie uses natural matcha tea in all its healthy natural glory, so it is always a healthy choice for a morning drink!

However, it’s essential to note that matcha has caffeine, so consume carefully!

Orange Dream Machine

Like an orange creamsicle in a smoothie, the Orange Dream Machine lives up to its name.

It starts with orange juice and orange sherbet and adds soy milk and fat-free vanilla frozen yogurt. At 440 calories, it’s pretty healthy for an orange creamsicle (or an Orange Julius, the ice cream version).

Orange Dream Machine isn’t a particularly healthy smoothie. If you are looking for healthy smoothies, try one of the power blends or a green mix.

However, if you’re looking for a sweet treat that’s not quite as high in calories or fat as ice cream, you have to try the Orange Dream Machine.

Peach Perfection

One of the healthiest and most popular drinks at Jamba Juice is Peach Perfection.

It deserves the name as well because it is perfection in a drink. Peach Perfection starts with a white grape pear peach juice blend, a strawberry apple juice blend, mangos, and peaches. It combines all these flavors for a delightfully cool drink.

Peach Perfection has 310 calories. They are all from the juice blends—this drink is high in sugar but extremely low in fat.

As with all Jamba Juice smoothies, you can substitute anything. Instead of fruit juice, you could ask for unsweetened almond milk and lower the sugar in the drink.

Peanut Butter Moo’d

Jamba Juice isn’t just good at making smoothies—the company is also great at naming them.

With Peanut Butter Moo’d, it’s exactly what you want when you’re in the mood for some peanut butter.

Think of this smoothie as the healthier version of a chocolate peanut butter milkshake—it’s delicious and (at least somewhat nutritious).

Peanut Butter Moo’d has a base of chocolate moo’d dairy base (fat-free chocolate milk), vanilla frozen yogurt, and soymilk.

Throw in some bananas and peanut butter, and you’ve got what might be my favorite smoothie on the entire menu. I love the peanut butter and chocolate combination, and this smoothie does it right.

Strawberries Wild

Strawberry smoothies are some of my favorite types of smoothies.

They are comforting and remind me of summer days in my childhood, sipping homemade smoothies in the backyard.

Jamba Juice’s Strawberries Wild is like my childhood favorite, but with a whole new level. It’s 340 calories, which is pretty low for a classic smoothie.

Strawberries and bananas top a mix of vanilla fat-free frozen yogurt and an apple-pear strawberry juice blend.

If you’re looking for a simple smoothie that packs a lot of flavors but isn’t too unhealthy, the Strawberries Wild might be just what you’re looking for.

Strawberry Whirl

Strawberry Whirl is the Jamba Juice version of a strawberry banana smoothie.

With the classic apple pear strawberry juice blend, bananas, and strawberries, this smoothie only packs 300 calories.

It’s simple, delicious, and pairs amazingly well with a waffle or other breakfast item from the Jamba Juice menu.

If you like the strawberry banana smoothie, this is a delicious take on it. It’s not too sweet with the flavor of banana, but enough is there that it comes through strongly.

The Strawberry Whirl is a classic Jamba Juice flavor and one of my personal favorites at the restaurant!

Vanilla Blue Sky

Only 280 calories, Vanilla Blue Sky looks just as pretty as it sounds.

It tastes fantastic, too, with a combination of unsweetened almond milk and coconut milk, bananas, pineapples, and blue spirulina boost.

The spirulina is a type of algae (I promise it’s not gross) that gives natural energy and nutrients. Plus, it makes the drink a lovely shade of blue!

Vanilla Blue Sky is one of the more healthy items on Jamba’s menu. All of the sugar is natural, coming from bananas and pineapples.

Almonds and coconuts are low-fat forms of protein, and spirulina adds a natural boost to health.

It’s also entirely plant-based, making it even better for you and the environment!

White Gummi

You shouldn’t expect a super healthy smoothie from a title like White Gummi.

However, you can trust me on this: it’s delicious. The White Gummi is the sweetest combination on the list.

It’s 450 calories but has three different kinds of sherbet: lime, pineapple, and raspberry sherbet.

White Gummy is also based on soymilk and a juice blend of white grapes, pears, and peaches.

The combination of milk and juice makes it both creamy and tangy, and the sherbets add sweetness.

The final touch? Fresh mangos. This combination produces an amazing (if slightly unhealthy) smoothie.

Acai Super AntiOxidant

Of the Super Blend smoothies, Acai Super AntiOxidant might be the most powerful.

It has a soymilk and acai grape juice blend base, raspberry sherbet, strawberries, blueberries, and a daily vitamin and zinc boost packet.

These packets can be added to any smoothie on the menu, but they naturally come with this one.

The Acai Super AntiOxidant isn’t just good for you—it tastes delicious as well. The antioxidants and the extra vitamins are a great way to start the day (or end the day if you drink your smoothies with dinner).

Acai is one of the world’s superfoods and will benefit you in many ways. This smoothie has 410 calories.

Apple ‘n Greens

Apple ‘n Greens is another plant-based option from the Jamba menu.

It features an apple-pear strawberry juice blend, mangos, bananas, peaches, and kale. If you like a tart tropical flavor, Apple ‘n Greens is an excellent option for you.

The bananas sweeten the bitter taste of the kale just enough.

Because this smoothie is juice-based instead of water or nut milk-based, it is lower in fat but much higher in sugar. The kale and whole fruits have a ton of nutrients, and the overall calorie count is 320.

If you are watching sugar, try a different smoothie. But if you want a low-fat smoothie, this one is great!

Caribbean Passion

The juice that forms the base of this smoothie is made up of five different fruits: pear, white grape, passion fruit, orange, and mango juice.

There is raspberry sherbet, strawberries, and peaches blended with this fruit juice mix.

The combination of these ingredients gives the smoothie an island twist, even without the island.

The Caribbean smoothie has 430 calories. Like many of the items on the classic smoothies list, the Caribbean Passion is based on fruit juice and has a lot of natural sugars.

This sugar is the source of most of the calories, but none of it is processed. It’s all-natural fructose and sucrose from the fruit itself.

Mango-a-Go-Go

The classic smoothie flavors are strawberry, peach, and mango.

Jamba Juice does all of these well, but their most popular flavor is the Mango-a-Go-Go. It has 400 calories, all of which are from natural sugar (with some sherbert added). This mango smoothie takes a regular mango smoothie up a notch—it’s great.

Mango-a-Go-Go has a five juice blend of orange, pear, white grape, mango, and passion fruit juice. The smoothie also contains mangos and pineapple sherbet.

The combination of these flavors makes a delicious smoothie, a step above other companies’ mango smoothies (most of which are based on a syrup, anyway).

Mega Mango

Like the regular mango smoothie but plant-based, this drink has a base of orange juice and pineapple juice.

Mangos and strawberries complete this simple, sweet, and healthy drink. It’s really tasty, especially if you want an uncomplicated smoothie with no greens in it.

The Mega Mango is healthier than the regular mango smoothie. It’s one of the lowest fat options on the menu, and while it has a higher sugar level than some others, it is based on natural juices and fruits.

The calorie count on the Mega Mango smoothie is 380 calories.

PB & Banana Protein Smoothie

The PB & Banana Protein Smoothie comes with two different forms of protein: whey or pea protein.

Both smoothies start with skim milk (which can be exchanged for non-dairy milk) and add bananas, peanut butter, and honey. Whey protein is dairy-based, and pea protein is plant-based.

Both of these smoothies are on the super blends list. The pea blend has 540 calories, and the whey protein smoothie has 630 calories.

I request almond milk and whey protein for the best-tasting smoothie with the least amount of fat. Also, I ask them for some cinnamon to add a little extra flavor.

PB Chocolate Love

PB Chocolate Love is a slightly healthier version of Peanut Butter Moo’d.

With chocolate moo’d dairy base, reduced-fat milk, bananas, and peanut butter, it’s not quite as rich as the other peanut butter and chocolate smoothie option. It has 580 calories, whereas Peanut Butter Moo’d has 720 calories.

If you like the flavors but don’t necessarily want high fat, PB Chocolate Love is excellent. It’s also good if you don’t want as many mixed bases—some people have issues with soy-based smoothies, and a simple dairy base might be best.

Of course, you can always change the smoothie’s base, but Jamba Juice only has a dairy chocolate option.

Pomegranate Paradise

Like many of the smoothies at Jamba Juice, Pomegranate Paradise is based on a blend of mangoes, strawberries, and peaches.

However, the juice base for this smoothie is not orange juice but an apple, pear, and pomegranate blend. It makes an already yummy blend of fruit delicious on a new level.

Pomegranate juice has many health benefits, including increased heart health. There are 320 calories in this smoothie, most of them from sugar.

The health benefits of pomegranate juice and the various fruits outweigh the negatives of sugar, as long as your diet and health allow it.

Watermelon Breeze

Finally, Watermelon Breeze is a light and lovely little smoothie perfect for a summer day.

It has a watermelon grape juice blend, strawberries and pineapples, and raspberry sherbet. While this smoothie is one of the highest in sugars (thanks, raspberry sherbet), it’s still less than any milkshake will be.

Watermelon Breeze has 410 calories. This is because of the fruit juice—watermelon has a lot of natural sugars. However, it is natural sugar, so it is still much healthier than any milkshake or ice cream cone.

I love this smoothie on a hot summer day—it reminds me of childhood summer days.
