Stan’s DC Restaurant is conveniently located in the Downtown area of Washington, D.C. and is considered by some to be a D.C. institution. Stan’s DC is a basement level cocktail lounge that serves a plethora of Washingtonians finishing a days’ work and visitors to the area alike. Washington, D.C. is known for its ‘mumbo sauce’ and Stan’s DC encourages diners to enjoy their baked or fried wings soaked in it. Their portion sizes are very large, so we recommend going with a friend. Stan’s also has other delightful menu items, including their Catfish Sandwich and Baked Haddock. Stan’s DC is also well known for their strong drinks. In fact, they boldly proclaim on their website that they have the “strongest drinks in D.C. Guaranteed.” We absolutely have to agree with this statement. Check them out and find out for yourself!

Bonchon has several locations around the Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia area, including in the lively neighborhood of Navy Yard. Bonchon in Navy Yard is a casual dining restaurant, and their outdoor seating is reminiscent of being at a barbeque. Guests are encouraged to share picnic tables with one another in this relaxed environment. Their interior is surprisingly spacious and while simply decorated, quite lovely for a fast casual dining experience. Bonchon serves Korean Fried Chicken, and their wings are a must try! We recommend their boneless wings with soy garlic sauce. Their sides also stand out, and we love the Kimchi! Bonchon is the perfect location to dine before or after a National’s game. It is located a couple of blocks away from the stadium, and their restaurant is spacious enough to never feel crowded.

KoChix is located within the Shaw area of Washington DC. KoChix features Korean Fried Chicken in a fast casual restaurant, and their services are currently for takeaway dining. This restaurant is a small, “hole in the wall” restaurant and their food is delicious and authentic. Many customers in the Washington, D.C. area say these are hands down the best Chicken Wings in the city. You have to try their Honey Spice and Soy Garlic Wings! The Shaw area of Washington, D.C. is such a historical neighborhood, we suggest grabbing some wings to go and having a picnic at the Meridian Hill Park and then checking out a local museum.
