Acacia Food & Wine is a  wine bar and restaurant that is loved in the Van Ness neighborhood serving up Modern American and European cuisine. As an upscale casual dining restaurant, Acacia has a beautifully decorated interior as well as a spacious outdoor patio. A family owned restaurant, Acacia focuses on fresh, locally sourced ingredients and emphasizes sustainability. While they have a bottomless brunch offered, we recommend their dinner for participation in BYOB. You cannot go wrong with either their Pre Fixe menu, or bringing a bottle of complex red wine to enjoy with their NY Strip Steak. Acacia has been Wine Spectator Awarded for multiple years. Their service is impeccable, and they are able to advise diners which food pairing will best suit their BYOB option. 


Tabard Inn

Nestled in Dupont Circle, the Tabard Inn offers a wonderful dining experience attached to their Inn, which offers boutique rooms to guests. The Tabard Inn is a great option for a staycation, out of towners in addition to a date night dining experience. They have a beautifully decorated interior, including rustic features such as a wood burning fireplace. Their covered patio dining area provides diners with a sunlight, greenhouse meets museum type feel that can be enjoyed even on rainy days. For their BYOB, we recommend bringing a robust bottle of red wine to enjoy with their Duck Confit salad as well as their Oxtail Ravioli. There are few other places available to dine at in Washington, D.C. that are so rich with history. Originally opened in 1922 as an Inn, The Tabard Inn is the oldest continuously running hotel in the District.

Osteria Morini

Ideally close to the National’s Stadium, Osteria Morini is an Italian restaurant located in the Navy Yard area of Washington, D.C. Initially opened in Manhattan. Osteria Morini is an upscale restaurant that is ideal for a BYOB date. Their pasta is the star of the show, so consider a BYOB that pairs well with their gnocchi or Spaghetti Pomodoro. Osteria Morini is situated on the waterfront at The Yards which makes for an ideal location to walk after dinner. Green Pig Bistro offers American-French cuisine in the Clarendon neighborhood of Arlington, Virginia. Green Pig Bistro is a restaurant that advertises hearty, not heavy, food. Offering vegetarian and pescetarian options, we recommend the Diver Scallops as your main course. You also cannot dine at Green Pig without trying their homemade cornbread and cheesy Macaroni and Cheese options. For their BYOB offering, we recommend a refreshing rosé.  Offering Brunch, Lunch, and Dinner as well as Happy Hour, Green Pig Bistro has something for everyone. We recommend reviewing their menu prior to making a reservation, as substitutions are kindly refused.

Located in the McPherson Square area of Downtown, Washington, D.C., Siroc is an Italian Trattoria. With freshly made pasta and a wide variety of cheeses and meats, Siroc serves Northern Italian cuisine in what is described as a smart casual setting. Offering both indoor and outdoor seating, Siroc is an inviting place to dine for BYOB. Consider bringing a bottle of white wine to pair with their Branzino, which is cooked to perfection each and every time. The Executive Chef at Siroc, Martin Lackovic, has a unique background and has cultivated unique flavors within Siroc. Having worked as a chef in South Africa, it is clear he has inspired some of the unique wine options available at Siroc.

A popular Indian restaurant in Washington, D.C., Rasika has two locations – in the West End, as well as in Penn Quarter. Rasika encourages diners to order a number of their appetizers and entrees to share amongst friends, and we agree! We love their BYOB option, and recommend pairing your preference – a white or red bottle of wine with one of their loved Chaats, including their Palak Chaat. You also cannot go wrong with their Baingan Achari. Rasika has earned multiple accolades including receiving a James Beard Nomination as well as being recognized as one of the top restaurants in America.

Their decor is modern and is considered an upscale dining restaurant. While they offer hand crafted cocktails, Corduroy also offers a BYOB option. Their Peppered Rare Tuna With Hijiki and Sushi Rice would pair exquisitely with a bottle of Sake or a crisp white bottle of wine.  Corduroy has begun takeout options for diners. The Hamilton is an eclectic and vibrant restaurant located in the Downtown area of Washington, D.C., just blocks away from the White House. The Hamilton is an upscale casual restaurant focusing on innovative menu items. The Hamilton also offers many sushi options in addition to American fare including burgers and boozy milkshakes. For their BYOB offering, consider bringing along a bottle of full bodied red wine to pair will their Spring Lamb Rigatoni. The Hamilton is a favorite gathering place for Happy Hour as well as for live music. Et Viola ! is a Belgium-French bistro in the heart of the Palisides area of Washington, D.C. This is a neighborhood favorite for BYOB options thanks to the authenticity of the Belgium and French dishes Et Viola ! has to offer. They are upscale casual, offering both inside and outside seating. BYOB is a fan favorite here. Whether or not you want to bring a bottle of white wine to enjoy with their Mussels, or a bottle of red to enjoy with their Rib Eye Steak, it is impossible to make a wrong choice here. Each of the chefs at Et Viola ! are from Belgium, and have worked in well known restaurants across Europe. Chef Alex Malaise has worked in two and three Michelin Star restaurants across Europe, and Chef Claudio Parollo has worked as a personal chef for an Irish Ambassador.

Staple for years that serves up American meals. An upscale casual restaurant, Old Ebbitt Grill is decorated beautifully with touches of Victorian memorabilia and antiques. During the Holiday season, the front of Old Ebbitt Grill is adorned with giant nutcrackers which are a true sight. Consider bringing a bottle of white wine to pair with their oysters and other seafood options. Considered the oldest Saloon in D.C., Old Ebbitt Grill is rich with history. It was established as a saloon in 1856, and has served as a boarding house, hosting people like President Mckinley and has been visited by the likes of others including Theodore Roosevelt.
