20 Of The Unhealthiest Starbucks Drinks

Learn about the most unhealthy Starbucks drinks that are full of sugar and more.

Sometimes you just have to treat yourself, especially as these unhealthy Starbucks drinks are some of the tastiest things on the menu.

Cup of Frappuccino beverage from Starbucks Coffee

From gooey caramel-laced frappuccinos to smoothies that are really more like milkshakes, there are plenty of drinkable desserts at your local Starbucks branch.

Whether you order them hot or cold, with or without whipped cream, these drinks will undoubtedly derail your diet but leave you feeling totally satisfied.

They are the ultimate sugary comfort foods, the special occasion drinks, and the ones you reach for at the end of a long day.

White Chocolate Mocha

This drink is a phenomenal mixture of white chocolate, milk, and whipped cream.

Although it’s high in calories, I think it’s worth the splurge. Just sip responsibly if you want to keep your waistline svelte.

Mocha Frappuccino

While Starbucks’ Mocha Frappuccino might be one of the most popular drinks out there, it’s also loaded with sugar and calories.

Between the whole milk, sugary syrups, loads of mocha, and crown of whipped cream.

Still, as an occasional treat, I think there are few drinks at Starbucks that compare to its taste. It’s one of the most popular frappuccinos!

Cinnamon Roll Frappuccino

The Cinnamon Roll Frappuccino is basically a Vanilla Bean Frap with extra syrups.

Your barista will add White Mocha syrup and Cinnamon Dolce syrup to give the drink that signature cinnamon roll taste.

I love how decadent it is, but it’s not the most calorie-friendly drink at Starbucks. This may not be on the standard menu, but it is on the secret menu!

White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino

Like the traditional Mocha Frappuccino, the White Chocolate Mocha Frappuccino is a tasty treat full of whole milk, syrups, and a touch of coffee.

Plus, you’ll find plenty of Chocolate Mocha sauce running through the entire drink.

I consider it more like a dessert in a glass than a coffee beverage, but it’s a go-to treat whenever I’m in a self-indulgent mood.

Cinnamon Dolce Latte

I’m a big fan of cinnamon, and this latte hits all the right notes in my eyes.

It’s a high-octane espresso, cinnamon syrup, and whole milk.

The beverage has layers of sweet, spicy, delicious flavor and makes more of an excellent dessert or a refreshing pick-me-up after a long day.

Vanilla Bean Creme Frappuccino

One of the most popular Starbucks drinks, the Vanilla Bean Creme Frappuccino, has absolutely no coffee (so I typically avoid it on long mornings!) but is packed with plenty of luxe vanilla flavor.

Your barista starts with a base of whole milk, then adds Frappuccino syrup and a dose of vanilla powder.

I recommend topping it off with whipped cream for a milkshake-like concoction sure to please.

Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino

With the rich flavor of mocha and plenty of textural interest, the Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino knocks it out of the park, tastewise.

Unfortunately, it also happens to be one of the most unhealthy Starbucks drinks you can order.

I enjoy customizing this tasty drink with different syrups for flavor variation.

Hot Chocolate

I find nothing more comforting than a steaming cup of hot chocolate.

Starbucks never fails to leave me feeling relaxed with their Signature Hot Chocolate.

Expect layers upon layers of cocoa flavor and rich milk, plus a dollop of whipped cream.

While I’ll admit it’s not waistline-friendly, it’s worth sabotaging your diet for.

Smoked Butterscotch Frappuccino

This sophisticated Starbucks drink prominently features rich butterscotch and espresso.

The smoky butterscotch flavor accentuates the coffee, and I see it as a welcome break from some of the chain’s sweeter drinks.

While I’m not a frequent drinker of Werther’s butterscotch candy, fans will enjoy this Frappuccino.

Java Chip Frappuccino

Decadent and yummy, Starbucks’ Java Chip Frappuccino is an exquisite mix of coffee, ice, and milk.

But, what sets it apart in my eyes are the Java chips. They add an exciting crunch element, and the whipped cream and nice mocha syrup tie the whole thing together.

It’s one of the most popular Starbucks frappuccinos for a good reason.

S’mores Crème Frappuccino

Invoking a campfire favorite, the S’mores Creme Frappuccino is a sugary, indulgent drink featuring Funnel Cake syrup and a Grande Coffee Frappuccino.

Although I don’t think it tastes precisely like s’mores, most sippers will find the drink reminiscent enough of their favorite childhood treat.

Strawberry Crème Frappuccino

More like a strawberry milkshake than a frappuccino, the Strawberry Creme Frappuccino has sumptuous fresh strawberry flavor, sweet Creme Frappuccino syrup, and milk.

In my eyes, this is an excellent summer drink. It might not be the healthiest but will undoubtedly bring a smile to your face in the meantime.

Iced Caramel Macchiato

The yummy and calorie-heavy Iced Caramel Macchiato is an espresso-based drink with milk and a touch of vanilla for added depth of flavor.

Like some of Starbucks’ best drinks, this one comes with a heavy hint of caramel on top (which I’m a fan of!) to add textural interest and give the Iced Caramel Macchiato its signature flair.

This is my favorite caramel drink at Starbucks, but there are other caramel concoctions to try!

Ultra Caramel Frappuccino

If you love caramel-flavored drinks, reach for this Ultra Caramel Frappuccino.

There are tons of different flavors, including white chocolate, coffee, mocha, and, of course, plenty of caramel sauce and flavoring to make the drink unique.

I suggest the cold brew version during summer—it’s perfect for hot days!

Pink Drink

The ultra-Instagrammable Pink Drink is one of Starbucks’ new up-and-coming treats.

It all starts with a Strawberry Acai Refresher base. Then, your barista will add coconut milk and strawberries to give the drink its cloudy pink hue and texture.

Not only is the Pink Drink pretty, but the tropical flair is a delight, and I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty it was.

Red Velvet Cake Crème Frappuccino Blended Crème

The decadent and delicious Red Velvet Cake Creme Frappuccino Blended Creme is a beautiful dessert heavy on the red velvet cake flavor.

I love how it has the smooth consistency of a frappuccino.

Laced with raspberry syrup and topped with whipped cream and chocolate, this is perfect for a treat.

Caramel Brulee Latte

With an espresso base and plenty of caramel flavor infused throughout the drink, Starbucks’ Caramel Brulee Latte is a winner.

I suggest asking your barista to top yours with whipped cream and a few crunchy bits of caramel brulee.

It’ll deliver big on luxe caramel flavor and have some texture too.

Chocolate Smoothie

The Starbucks’ Chocolate Smoothie is more like a milkshake than a smoothie in my opinion, with plenty of rich chocolate flavor and a decadent consistency.

Although you can get your Chocolate Smoothie plain, I recommend adding a bit of whipped cream and chocolate shavings on top for an enhanced taste.

Salted Caramel Mocha

I’ve long been a fan of salted caramel as it’s the perfect marriage of sweet and salty, and Starbucks does it right with their Salted Caramel Mocha.

This drink has plenty of complimentary flavors, including caramel, toffee, and rich chocolatey mocha.

It also comes with caramel syrup and the lightest touch of sea salt on top.

Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappuccino

I adore the layers of caramel in this Frappuccino, including Starbucks’ delicious Caramel Syrup, blended right into the base itself.

Like most Frappuccinos, the Caramel Ribbon Crunch is topped with whipped cream and caramel sugar.
