Close to Aloft Fort Worth Downtown, you’ll find Reata On The Roof. This spot is an excellent place to enjoy the balmy Texan weather and a cocktail or two.
Their food menu is impressive and extensive, with traditional southern food like grits and steak. Some essential dishes include seafood and steaks but my favorite is their tamale.
The servers are knowledgeable and friendly, and you’ll get your food in a flash. Put this one on your “must visit” list for sure.

Heim Barbecue is one of the top places to visit in Fort Worth for delicious brisket, burnt ends, and loaded baked potatoes.
They also offer sizable sandwiches full of brisket or pulled pork with a wide array of sides. The coleslaw is delicious.
Heim Barbecue is located centrally near Mosaic Academy and is one of Fort Worth’s best-loved secrets. It also has great ambiance and reasonable prices.

Joe T Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant is right near Fort Worth Fire Station 12, and they serve up giant, sharable portions of high-quality Mexican cuisine.
Although you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, the chili Relleno is exceptional, and the fajita nachos are great for sharing.
Joe T Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant has you covered if you love margaritas. They are fresh, flavorful, and bursting with delicious citrus flavor.

Flying Saucer is a friendly and quaint restaurant that you’ll find close to the Sid Richardson Museum. It’s an excellent pick for you and the whole family with a fantastic beer selection, excellent service, and plenty of outdoor seating.
Although the place is usually packed, the servers at Flying Saucer manage to get you your food swiftly and piping hot.
Their loaded tater tots always amaze me no matter how many times I’ve had them before. They are the perfect thing to munch on while trying Flying Saucer’s selection of craft beers.

Right near Studio Eighty nightclub, you’ll find one of the best spots in all of Fort Worth to savor a tasty margarita.
Salsa Limon is an excellent restaurant with a vast cocktail menu and a selection of great foods. I highly recommend their housemade guacamole or chicken fajitas for a real treat.
It’s a humble little spot that locals love, and you’ll feel right at home the second you step inside the doors.

The beef brisket tacos are delicious, and their chips and salsa are the perfect thing to round out your meal. In addition to the food, the service at Mi Cocina is top-notch.
I’ve been there a few times by now, and my food has always arrived quickly. Moreover, their staff is very friendly and open to answering any questions in great detail.

HG Sply Co near West Bend shopping mall is a beautiful place to visit if you’re gluten-free, as there are plenty of options on the menu that cater to all different types of diners.
Some of their best dishes are veggie-based, including sweet potato hash and grilled corn. I also love their creamy plant-based gelato.
Furthermore, their menu has a myriad of other good choices, including the vegan queso and yellow curry with quinoa. So if you want to savor some healthy food without feeling like you’re on a diet, HG Sply Co is it.

Nonna Tata is a homestyle Italian restaurant that serves beautiful fresh pasta prepared in tons of different and exciting ways.
Unfortunately, the restaurant is relatively small, so you might have to wait for a little while if you arrive during one of their rushes. It’s all worth it, though.
In addition to the pasta, Nonna Tata makes an excellent Caesar salad and a luxurious and traditional tiramisu.
Since it’s just a few blocks from Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center, Nonna Tata is easy to find.

Brewed is very close to Magnolia Green Park and is a trendy little family-friendly place with a great cocktail menu and outstanding brunch service. Their coffee is really tasty if you’re not in the mood for cocktails.
Some of the best breakfast and brunch options at Brewed are the simplest, like fruit yogurt with granola or biscuits and eggs. You can tell that everything is fresh and made to order, and the service is outstanding.

Right down the street from Fort Worth Public Library, you’ll stumble across a Fort Worth icon; Del Frisco’s Grille.

You’ll find The Bearded Lady right near Broadway Baptist Church, a local favorite that serves some of the best chicken fried steak in all of Fort Worth.
Their burgers, fried pickles, and sandwiches are delicious as well. My secret delight is their homemade pimento cheese sandwich.
It is a must-savor if they have it on the menu. Plus, The Bearded Lady is a beer-lovers paradise, with plenty of different offerings right on tap.

Branch & Bird is very close to Downtown Fort Worth Inc. in the middle of the city. This conveniently-located restaurant has a fun and funky vibe, a robust cocktail menu, and tons of seasonally and locally-inspired dishes on the menu.
The salmon is excellent, perfectly cooked, and flaky. Their flatbreads are also really lovely, and the Southwest Salad is the perfect start to your meal.
Final Thoughts
