Heim Barbecue is one of the top places to visit in Fort Worth for delicious brisket, burnt ends, and loaded baked potatoes.
They also offer sizable sandwiches full of brisket or pulled pork with a wide array of sides. The coleslaw is delicious.
Heim Barbecue is located centrally near Mosaic Academy and is one of Fort Worth’s best-loved secrets. It also has great ambiance and reasonable prices.

Some of their best dishes are veggie-based, including sweet potato hash and grilled corn. I also love their creamy plant-based gelato.
Furthermore, their menu has a myriad of other good choices, including the vegan queso and yellow curry with quinoa. So if you want to savor some healthy food without feeling like you’re on a diet, HG Sply Co is it.

Nonna Tata is a homestyle Italian restaurant that serves beautiful fresh pasta prepared in tons of different and exciting ways.
Unfortunately, the restaurant is relatively small, so you might have to wait for a little while if you arrive during one of their rushes. It’s all worth it, though.
In addition to the pasta, Nonna Tata makes an excellent Caesar salad and a luxurious and traditional tiramisu.
Since it’s just a few blocks from Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center, Nonna Tata is easy to find.

Branch & Bird is very close to Downtown Fort Worth Inc. in the middle of the city. This conveniently-located restaurant has a fun and funky vibe, a robust cocktail menu, and tons of seasonally and locally-inspired dishes on the menu.
The salmon is excellent, perfectly cooked, and flaky. Their flatbreads are also really lovely, and the Southwest Salad is the perfect start to your meal.
