7 Must-Try Sushi Places In El Paso

Where to get sushi in the city for an unforgettable dining experience.

Resting near the Rio Grande stands El Paso, the sixth-largest city in Texas. Its desert backdrop makes it stand out from many other large cities across the nation, earning its nickname “Sun City” from the abundant sunlight it receives most of the year.

It’s home to many botanical gardens and Franklin Mountains State Park, the largest urban park in the United States.

Additionally, its urban culture has a significant American and Mexican influence, from its annual festivals and rodeos.

Although El Paso is known for its Tex-Mex cuisine, you can find several restaurants serving many international dishes.

For instance, numerous restaurants serve sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese delicacies many enjoy. However, it might be challenging to find each one if you don’t have time during your short trip to El Paso.

I consider this one of the best places for a sushi lunch or dinner because of its relaxed atmosphere and small size.

Are you interested in hosting any events? Then, consider asking about their catering services.

In my opinion, their best sushi dishes are Smelt Roe Nigiri, Golden California Roll, Albacore Hand Roll, and Rising Sun Roll.

I also recommend their Samurai Roll Lunch Special. If you bring a friend who isn’t keen on sushi, let them try their Teriyaki Salmon or Hibachi Shrimp with Green Tea or Korean Coffee.

During my visit to El Paso, I tried their Spicy Scallop Roll, Imperial Roll, Matsu Roll, and Alaska Roll.
