If you go to Teppo Yakitori- Sushi Bar, consider opting for the omakase option, where you let their chef put together your order for you. It might open you up to exciting new dishes that you had never thought to try before. Although you will generally get something different every time, you simply can’t go wrong with the yakitori or sashimi omakase.
Otherwise, select the sashimi yourself. Choose between yellowtail, tuna, mackerel, and plenty of other options. All options come with freshly grated wasabi, which is a little more delicate than traditional wasabi paste.

Sushi is a passion for the head chefs of Oishii, and it certainly shows! It would be difficult to go wrong with any of the rolls on their expansive menu. They come with wasabi and soy sauce, but you can also get spicy mayonnaise to dip them in. Try the Crab Rangoon and Dynamite rolls for a new twist on traditional flavors.
The drinks at Oishii are equally as delicious, especially their famous lychee martini. It has a delicate taste that certainly doesn’t overwhelm or compete with any of the flavors in the sushi and adds a nice touch to your meal.

What sets Uchi apart from other restaurants and makes it one of the best sushi restaurants in Dallas is the fact that it offers both traditional Japanese food and high-class food from other countries. You’ll find foie gras on the menu, as well as fresh sashimi and an extensive wine list.
Their desserts are equally delicious. Try their fried milk option consisting of condensed milk, chocolate, and ice cream. The flavors are all perfectly balanced, and they will simply melt in your mouth.

Tei Tei Robata Bar serves fantastic Japanese food and drinks, and the restaurant has a lovely ambiance that is perfect for date night, located right off Route 75 in Lower Greenville. Although this restaurant tends to be a little on the pricier side, most patrons agree that it’s worth every penny.
Standout dishes include the Washu Beef and Soft Shell Crab Roll. If you’re in the mood for a heartier meal, check out the Chilean Sea Bass with miso paste. Mr. Sushi features some of the most creative sushi rolls on our list. Check out their cheekily-named “Sexy Roll” and “Sex on the Beach.” The Dynamite roll is also fantastic, and the servers are knowledgeable and can modify virtually any roll to suit tastes or dietary needs.

Sasa Sushi is a quaint, smaller restaurant that’s usually packed with hungry patrons. Make sure that you pack your patience along with your appetite because you might have to wait for a minute. Trust us; it’s worth it!
Their scallop sushi is one of the stand-out menu items, and their tempura is light, fresh, and airy. At some restaurants, the tempura is heavy and can overpower the dish, so Sasa Sushi’s recipe is a nice change. Try the Heavenly Roll and Crab Roll if you want a real treat.

The head chef of Sushi Robata, Mori San, has over 20 years of experience making delectable Japanese food. Try the Hamachi Collar, Futomaki Roll, and the Takoyaki. As with many great restaurants, there is a bit of a wait time for your food. It’s totally worth it, though!

The secret to Tei-An’s success is the quality of the noodles that they use; they make the right in house from buckwheat flour.

Their chef, Nobu Matsuhisa, has worked in kitchens for three decades and is an expert at mixing older and new elements in his dishes.
Try the Field Greens and Matsuhisa Dressing or the Gem Salad with Creamy Wasabi. Both dishes will transport you straight to Japan. This means that there’s bound to be something on the menu that you’ve never seen or tried. Don’t be afraid to get adventurous. All of the rolls at Sushi Rock are amazing.
The Nigrini is outstanding, and their sake and wine selections are great. If you’re looking for lighter fare, you can always try the Seaweed Salad. Like everything else at Sushi Rock, the salad is fresh and perfectly seasoned.

Despite the name, the top dish at Yama Sushi is actually their Yama Ramen, a richly seasoned broth served with ramen noodles. Yama Ramen cooks for a full eight hours until it’s at the perfect consistency. You’ll get tons of different flavor profiles in every bite. Unfortunately, you can’t get Yama Ramen for dinner. It’s available only on certain days for lunch, so check ahead!
Stand-out dishes include Seafood Creamy Udon, Japanese Curry, Okonomiyaki, and Unagi. Try their Wasabi Fries, served with wasabi-spiked mayonnaise. With a welcoming, casual atmosphere and a menu full of delicious food, Yama Sushi is one of the best sushi places in Dallas.

One of the outstanding features of Namo is that it pays a lot of attention to the ingredients that it uses in its dishes. They try to use ingredients straight from Japan. The rolls are all based on traditional Japanese recipes that Namo’s head chefs sourced from their families.
Start your meal with the Nitro Cold Green Tea, and then get into the main course. The Nigrini is excellent, and their Spicy Tuna is amazing too. The ambiance at Namo is relaxed and welcoming. You’ll feel right at home and in the heart of Tokyo at the same time.
You’ll find Namo in the West Village shopping complex, just a short walk from Turtle Creek and Katy Trail.
