When I visited TJ’s Seafood Market & Grill, I enjoyed the white wine and herb mussels, the salmon burger with Old Bay aioli, and the coconut rice.
Be sure to try the key lime cheesecake for dessert. The restaurant also has a wine list to pair with your classic seafood dishes.

My favorite dish is the tuna nachos with sushi-grade tuna and tasty sauces. I recommend trying the crawfish hush puppies and the crab and shrimp chips with house-made chips and white cheddar old bay cheese sauce. The lobster roll and the smoked salmon flatbread are both delicious options too!

I enjoy the New England clam chowder and the crab fried rice. Other popular menu items include the crispy cod and chips, the BBQ spiced Gulf shrimp, and the ceviche with a mezcal-citrus vinaigrette. Finish your meal with the rum cake topped with a candied orange peel.

The neighborhood steak and seafood restaurant has been serving Dallas for more than 40 years. Ask about private dining for larger parties or celebrations!
Cafe Pacific offers various steaks, but the seafood options are incredible. I enjoyed the Maine sea scallops, the poached lobster and truffle pasta, and the grilled Texas gulf grilled snapper.
Look for the small notation of “chef’s special” on the menu for tasty treats! Some side dishes also involve seafood, like lobster macaroni and cheese.

The Oceanaire Seafood Room is located in Galleria Dallas, a large shopping mall with shops and specialty dining levels.
First opened in 1998, the Oceanaire is now a national chain offering high-end seafood dishes in unique spaces. From Boston to Baltimore to Dallas, the restaurant satisfies hungry guests every day.
When I visited The Oceanaire Seafood Room, I enjoyed the Black Point oysters from Prince Edwards Island.
Popular entrees include the jumbo shrimp scampi, the Chilean sea bass with a lemon beurre blanc sauce, and the lobster fried rice.
The specialty cocktail list is extensive, and I enjoyed the Blackberry Smash with Knob Creek Bourbon, blackberries, and mint.
The Boiling Crab

The Boiling Crab in Dallas is located in the Forest Crest neighborhood. It is a low-key chain restaurant that serves boiled-in-bag Cajun-spiced crawfish, oysters, and shrimp.

Guests order by choosing the type of seafood, adding sauce, and selecting how spicy you prefer the meal.
My order was a pound of shrimp with ragin’ cajun seasoning with medium spice. Be sure to add sausage, corn, and potatoes to your steam bag! The restaurant also offers fried options like catfish, shrimp, and chicken wings.

Truluck’s Ocean’s Finest Seafood and Crab is near Uptown Dallas in the State Thomas neighborhood.
The restaurant is an upscale seafood and steakhouse with a classic white-table-cloth vibe. It is open daily for dinner, with lunch hours during the week. Truluck’s won a 2021 TripAdvisor’s Diner’s Choice award!
My favorite dishes at Truluck’s include the jumbo lump crab cake with dill tartar sauce, the lobster bisque with goat cheese, and the New England sea scallops with parmesan mashed potatoes.
The crab-fried rice is an excellent side dish selection, and if you are interested in a drinkable dessert, I would recommend ordering the espresso martini!
Uchi

Uchi is located between the State Thomas and International Center districts. It is a high-end restaurant that offers modern Japanese cuisine with excellent seafood and sushi dishes.
The restaurant is open between 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm daily. Tyson Cole, the chef and owner of Uchi, won the Best Chef Southwest Award from the James Beard Foundation in 2011.
I recommend trying the omakase—a diner specially crafted by the chef with various types of sashimi and sushi. The spicy crunchy tuna roll and the shag roll with salmon are delicious. I also suggest trying the snow crab maki, the flounder sashimi, and the sake crudo.

Ocean Prime is near the International Center district near Pike Park. It is a high-end national chain serving incredibly fresh and creative seafood dishes.
The restaurant is open for dinner nightly, with a lunch menu offered on weekdays. For guests, a smart dress code is expected for dinner service.
When I visited Ocean Prime, I enjoyed the calamari with sweet chili sauce, the Ora King salmon with gnocchi, the crab cakes, and the sea scallops.
The menu includes various steaks and chicken dishes as well. I recommend saving room for dessert; try the ten-layer carrot cake or the sorbet with an almond cookie.
