First up on my list of the best restaurants in The Woodlands is The Olive Oil Restaurant, nestled within the Woodwind Shopping Center.
This family-owned and operated Greek restaurant offers quality Greek fare in an ornate and cozy atmosphere.
Their live music and belly dancing entertainment give guests a unique dining experience if they’re looking for something different.
During my last visit to The Woodlands, I started with their Fried Eggplant and Dolmathakia.
Then, I had their Kokkinisto, tender beef braised in their signature olive oil over rice or linguine, with a side of Greek fries. I also recommend their Coconut Shrimp or Lamb Souvlaki.

Next up on my list of the best restaurants in The Woodlands is The Republic Grille, located in the Panther Creek neighborhood, near The Woodlands Children Museum.
This rustic eatery offers tasty, scratch-made dishes with Texan and Southern flavors for anyone looking for something bold to eat. They also have a spacious outdoor patio and a full bar to satisfy any cravings.
I love starting with their Mac & Cheese Bites or Chips & Queso and ordering their Texas Quail, Blackened Flounder, Hand-Cut Texas Ribeye, or Texafornia Sandwich with rice pilaf or sweet potato cakes on the side.
Be sure to pair your dishes with a refreshing Strawberry Basil Lemonade cocktail.

Minutes from The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion stands Schilleci’s New Orleans Kitchen, deep within Market Street.
If you prefer a rusty yet cozy setting for tempting Cajun and Creole dishes, this family-operated restaurant is the right option for you.
They also have a wide selection of international wines to pair with your meal for an immersive fine dining experience.
In my opinion, their best dishes are Duck St. Charles, Blackened Lamb & Stuffed Shrimp, Fried Catfish, and Fried Crawfish Po-Boy.
Be sure to treat yourself to their Beignets or Praline Sundae with French Press Coffee if you’re craving a NOLA-inspired dessert.

You can find Truluck’s Ocean’s Finest Seafood and Crab by Lake Woodlands. This upscale waterfront restaurant offers fresh seafood every night for anyone interested in a refined dining experience.
Their menus always list where they source their sustainable seafood. Be sure to dress formally before booking a reservation to their swanky dining room.
I’m a fan of their Mediterranean Seafood Salad, Miso-Glazed Sea Bass, Fresh Florida Stone Crab Claws, and Lobster Roll Sandwich. They taste great with a side of Steamed Spinach, Lyonnaise Potatoes, or Steak Mushrooms.
If you’re browsing through their drink list, consider sampling their Emerald City or Pretty In Pink cocktail.

Are you in the mood for steak in an upscale, contemporary setting? Then, consider booking your next dinner reservation with friends at Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille, located in the Sterling Ridge neighborhood. Enjoy Senior Executive Chef Dan Morgan’s finest chops or seafood in their lounge as live jazz fills the air.
If you plan on stopping by for dinner, try their Pecan-Smoked Caramelized Prime Rib, Symphony Kabob, or Cedar Plank-Fired Redfish.
I also recommend stopping by for lunch on Fridays for their Perry’s Pork Chop special. Their wine list offers plenty of options if you’re looking for something fancy to pair with your meat.
24 Waterway Ave #125, The Woodlands, Texas 77380
Another one of the best restaurants in The Woodlands offering an intimate and contemporary vibe is TRIS, at Waterway Square.
Executive Chef Austin Simmons serves quality New American fare you can enjoy in TRIS’s dining room, lounge, or patio. This cozy destination is an excellent option for a private dinner with friends.
Consider sampling their Lobster Pot Pie, Crab & Truffle Ravioli, Wagyu Ribeye, or TRIS Fried Chicken.
If you visit during their happy hour, consider ordering their Winter Sangria, Waterway Mojito, Winter Cosmo, or Herbal Lemon Drop cocktail with your meal.
The go-to dessert that I recommend is their Carrot Cake Crème Brûlée.

One of the best restaurants in The Woodlands for authentic Brazilian barbecue is Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse, overlooking Lake Woodlands.
This upscale eatery carves your meat before your eyes at your table to replicate the classic Churrasco cooking style.
If you’re dining with friends and family, start with their Seafood Tower. Their Costela De Porco, Beef Ancho, Picanha, and Linguiça are some of the tastiest menu options I’ve tried during my many visits to this city.
Enjoy their all-day happy hour with their bar bites or South American cocktails. Their non-alcoholic Pineapple Mint Lemonade and Grapefruit Elderflower Spritz taste great with any dish.

A trip to Market Street isn’t complete without enjoying a hearty dinner at Tommy Bahama Restaurant, Bar & Store.
This casual destination is the perfect setting to enjoy scratch-made dishes and tasty cocktails if you’re craving a tropical vibe.
They also have live music and apparel you can purchase to commemorate your stay at The Woodlands.
Tommy Bahama’s menu offers several gluten-free options. Start your night with their Caramelized Cauliflower or Ahi Tuna Tacos and try their Tamarind Pineapple-Glazed Mahi Mahi, Kona Coffee-Crusted Ribeye, Miso Ora King Salmon, or All-American Burger.
To enhance my tropical meal, I usually order a Frozen Mai Tai, Baja Margarita, or Hawaiian Fizz.

The Woodland’s best Gulf Coast seafood can be experienced at Landry’s Seafood House, overlooking The Woodlands Waterway.
I consider this family-friendly destination one of the best restaurants in The Woodlands because of its laid-back atmosphere and nautical digs.
I love their Stuffed Redfish, Top Sirloin, Stuffed Shrimp Enbrochette, and Southern Fried Fish with a Shrimp Skewer or Lobster Tail on the side.
Their weekday happy hour offers a wide selection of bar bites, cocktails, beer, and wine. However, I recommend trying their Strawberry Basil Lemonade and Flavored Palmer mocktails with your lunch or dinner.
Finally, enjoy their Bananas Fosters or Key Lime Pie for dessert with a specialty coffee or single-malt scotch.
In my opinion, the best restaurants in the Woodlands should offer a wide variety of dishes that everyone can enjoy, regardless of their dietary preferences or curiosity.
