This fully-loaded pizza includes pepperoni, mushrooms, black olives, hamburger, green peppers, and extra cheese. Optional toppings for this pizza include onions and jalapenos.
This spicy and flavorful pan is mouth-watering from the moment you walk in.
Brother’s Pizzeria also has salads, garlic bread, wings, mozzarella sticks, and subs on the menu.
These options make this location one of the best places in Houston to grab a bite to eat, and will surely have something to satisfy any crowd.

Coltivare is a Houston-based pizza joint with dozens of Italian meals, entrees, and snacks.
The pizza offerings available at Coltivare include iconic ingredients that combine to make rich and delicious flavors.
These pizzas have everything from ricotta cheese to goat cheese and grilled green onions to pine nuts. Additionally, special toppings are available for an additional cost.
I recommend the Chicken pizza.
This pizza comes with prosciutto and fresh tomato, and the fresh sage and saba garnishes make this pizza light and appealing for a summer day.
If you have gluten sensitivities, Coltivare also offers a gluten-free crust.

Spanky’s is a favorite of Houston locals and visitors alike, and for good reason. The pizza here at Spanky’s is immaculate and not something to miss while you’re in town.
Even if you’re not in the mood for pizza, Spanky’s offers a wide variety of sandiwches, burgers, pasta, and more.
Just want to graba couple of drinks? Spanky’s has got you covered there, too, with a huge drink menu and unbeatable happy hour specials.
Be sure to stop on by for some delicious pizza and a cold beer!

Frank’s Pizza serves a variety of foods like lasagna, sandwiches, burgers, wings, salads, desserts, and pizza.
This location offers plenty of Italian classics and focuses on robust flavors and seasonings.
Frank’s Pizza has dozens of options to make the best possible pizza.
Here, you can get traditional supreme, meat-laden, pepperoni, or classic cheese pizza.
Vegetarians and veggie lovers can also enjoy plenty of pizza options, including Margherita, pesto spinach, garden veggie, and mushroom pizzas.
The house specialties are where Frank’s Pizza shines. You can enjoy cajun flavors, Mexican chicken pizza, and tender barbeque options.
If you’re coming with a large party, this place will give you bang for your buck!
I recommend the Boudin and Bacon house pizza, which includes cajun spices and will set your senses on fire.
Pizaro’s Pizza Napoletana does build-your-own pizza like no other establishment in Houston.
Pizaro’s Pizza Napoletana has dozens of toppings like kalamata olives, mushrooms, ricotta cheese, and spicy meats.
I recommend this place for those with Celiac disease especially.
Pizaro’s does a Detroit-style gluten-free crush that you won’t find anywhere else, and combined with their housemade mozzarella, you’ll be able to enjoy pizza like you never have before!

Fuzzy’s Pizza is an absolutely incredible place to go in Houston for the perfect pizza.
This is the original Fuzzy’s, too, so you’re really getting the true experience. This pizzeria is, no doubt, a fixture of H-town.
I’m a fan of the classic pepperoni pizza because I like to keep it simple, but there are lots of options here to suit more adventurous palates.
1528 W Gray St, Houston, TX 77019
Romano’s Pizza boasts dozens of options for an exquisite pie.
Whether you want classic New York Style pizza, Sicilian Square Deep Dish pizza, or a build-your-own, Romano’s Pizza has an option for you.
You can add up to four classic toppings to your New York Style pizza or Sicilian Square Deep Dish pizza for no extra charge.
However, you can also choose from one of three Chef Specials, including combinations of flavors that many pizza lovers may not expect.
One option includes the Pollo Special, a grilled chicken, fresh garlic, and tomato-topped pizza.
The Mona Lisa Special includes tomatoes, feta cheese, and fresh spinach for an authentic taste of Italy.
I recommend the Margarita pizza, however. This pizza has ham, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil with a garlic and olive oil base.
These flavors had my mouth watering from the moment they came out of the oven.
Star Pizza is rife with plenty of trademark house-crafted pizzas. You can customize your pizza with your desired toppings.
But this restaurant’s unique options are satisfying and will have your mouth watering just from looking over the menu.
Their specialty pizza menu includes the Cowbell, Salsa Verde, and an apple–cinnamon dessert pizza.
I recommend the Starburst pizza, which has a stunning blend of ground beef, Italian sausage, pepperoni, onion, mushroom, and green peppers.

BOH Pasta & Pizza is a location with an active Instagram account that will keep your feed full of food shots and mouth-watering photos.
This restaurant has many options for classic Italian dishes like pasta, pizza, and desserts.
At BOH Pasta & Pizza, the pasta is made fresh by some of the best chefs in Houston.
Whether you want a classic pepperoni pizza or a vegetable-lovers spread, BOH Pasta & Pizza is sure to fit your bill.
BOH Pasta & Pizza specializes in flaky, brown, and airy crust, making this restaurant one of the best places in Houston to get crispy and delicious pizza.
I personally love the Eggplant Picante, which spices up the eggplant with Arbol chili, creating a pie you won’t find anywhere else.
2202 W Alabama St A, Houston, TX 77098
Bollo Woodfired Pizza has many options for food on its menu, including salad, appetizers, pasta dishes, and pizza.
While everything on the menu is stunning, the pizza options are what puts Bollo Woodfired Pizza on the map of Houston’s finest.
With options that include red marinara, white sauce, and a myriad of toppings, this location does pizza like no other.
I recommend the Diavolo, which, as the name suggests, will set your mouth on fire with its buffalo mozzarella, spicy salami, and crushed red pepper.
Luna Pizzeria has plenty of delicious options.
This location allows you to build a custom pizza or choose from signature pizzas with refreshing and robust flavors.
They also offer sandwiches, salads, sweets, and drinks on the menu, so if not everyone is feeling pizza, they won’t be leaving hungry.
I recommend the mushroom pizza, which includes three types of mushrooms, oysters, spinach, and whipped ricotta cheese for a delicious pie that you won’t be able to recreate in your kitchen (at least, not without practice).

Vinny’s has salad, appetizers, sandwiches, salads, and New York Style Pizzas.
You can get anything from a classic cheese, pepperoni, or a chicken and bacon ranch-style pizza, which is my personal favorite.
It includes chicken grilled over charcoal, bacon, and red pepper, all topped off with parsley and a ranch dressing.
If you’re looking for a quick meal, Vinny’s offers combo deals every day.
These deals allow you to combine slices of pizza, a sandwich, and a salad with a freshly baked cookie and a drink.
3201 Louisiana St Suite #103, Houston, TX 77006
Piola is a stunning and vibrant location with food to match. The menu at Piola is rife with dozens of pizza options.
There is a whole page on the menu just for pizza at Piola. It can be a little overwhelming, even for pizza lovers!
Piola is unlike many other pizza joints because it offers gluten-free crust, chia flour crust, and vegan cheese.
The restaurant caters to various dietary restrictions and needs and does it well.
Their many alternative options include pizzas that forgo marinara sauce, include nuts, or use delicious mixtures of multiple types of cheeses.
I recommend the Funghi Misti pizza, which includes a refreshing combination of sauteed mushrooms, marinara sauce, and mozzarella cheese for a simple, yet incredibly delicious, pizza.
2404 Austin St, Houston, TX 77004
The Gypsy Poet knows how to mingle grunge, poetry, and pizza.
This location has a dark and edgy mood and some of the best pizzas in Houston.
The artisanal pizzas on the menu include a Margherita, pepperoni, and specialty pizzas.
I recommend the Fancy Backpacker pizza, including Fio Di Latte, prosciutto, and truffle oil that will definitely have you feeling like a high-class adventurer from the first bite to the last.
2303 Richmond Ave., Houston, TX 77098
Capone’s Oven & Bar gets its namesake from the infamous Italian mobster, Al Capone.
This location has starters, salads, pasta entrees, and classic Italian desserts on the menu.
However, the pizza options at Capone’s Oven & Bar is where Houston visitors and natives can really get a taste of Italy alongside classics like cheese and pepperoni.
The Neapolitan option on the Capone’s Oven & Bar menu is classic and refreshing.
This pizza has tomato sauce, fresh spinach, mushrooms, mozzarella, and goat cheese.
Goat cheese can be bitter and challenging to use on a pizza, but this dish plays confidently with fresh and bold flavors, making it a perfect lunch or dinner option.
3700 Almeda Rd, Houston, TX 77004
Luigis Pizzeria is a perfect location for health-conscious pizza lovers or those with wheat allergies.
This location has low-carb, Keto, and gluten-free options for pizza.
Some cakes are made with simple and few ingredients to make them healthier. I recommend a classic slice of cheese pizza from this location!
The gluten-free crust is fantastic, and if you’ve been looking for something that recreates the taste of a wheat flour pizza, Luigi’s will take you back to the good ol’ gluten days.
1620 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77006
Alongside its pizzas, Rosie Cannonball is a premier location for Italian-style foods, pasta, and cocktails.
Diners who would rather have their meal at home or in a hotel room can enjoy their food on the go, making Rosie Cannonball a perfect location for visitors and locals alike.
Rosie Cannonball has six signature pizzas with varying toppings and styles.
These signature pizzas include pepperoni, Lira Rossa Three Cheese, Speck and Arugula, Cacio E Pepe, clam, and Pizza Alla Norma.
If you’re looking for something unique, I recommend the Clam Pizza, which includes anchovy-herb oil, pecorino, and lemon.
You won’t find the like anywhere else!
Houston has more than big hats and big hair. The food options in this city are endless, and pizza is only one of the many food styles you can explore.
