The temple is open to visitors daily, but only on Sunday can you come for their delicious fresh market where they serve things like pork and beef noodle soup, pad thai, fresh rolls, and more. Out in West Tampa off of West Hillsborough Avenue is amazing authentic Thai food at a place called Cafe De Siam. This restaurant is the perfect place to come when you’re craving a traditional Thai experience with foods like roasted duck, tom yum shrimp, and, our personal favorite, pad see ew. The atmosphere is quaint at Cafe De Siam. The decor consists of lovely Thai art and floral accents, presenting a bit of a tropical theme while retaining an element of coziness due to the small size of the restaurant.

Keson Thai Restaurant

Just west of the Rocky Point Golf Course and Tampa’s gorgeous Sweetwater Park, Keson Thai Restaurant is one of the best Thai restaurants in the whole city for some classic Thai cooking. They have a few specialties here at Keson that we always recommend for anyone treating themselves to this wonderful Thai experience, like their Shrimp in a Clay Pot or Duck Krapow. We absolutely love the traditional Thai decor on the inside of this restaurant, but their outdoor dining patio is also a great spot to enjoy a meal.

Thai Mama is a great place for some of Tampa’s best Thai food when you’re up in the northwestern area off of West Waters Avenue and you’re looking for a quick bite to eat. What started as a family-owned food truck has now evolved into a small counter-serve delicatessen-style restaurant that still serves the same amazing homemade Thai food. With 8 different delectable curries to choose from here at Thai Mama like panang, massaman, and even pumpkin, it’s easy to go crazy for curry.

The Tampa Bay Carrollwood area has a few hidden gems when it comes to eateries, and Jasmine Thai Restaurant is certainly one of them. This is the one of the top Thai food spots to hit if you’re looking for spice, also. Our favorite spicy dish is their Tornado Shrimp which consists of shrimp in green curry topped with eggplant tempura and mixed vegetables.

This is the place to go for authentic Tampa Thai cuisine in a refined atmosphere. The exterior can be deceiving, but once you walk in you’ll be taken aback by the serene decor that pays homage to Thai Lanna’s cultural origins. We love Thai Lanna because you can grab some of Tampa’s best Thai cuisine as well as delicious, fresh sushi all in one lovely setting.

Thai Island Restaurant is located on Tampa Bay’s beautiful Davis Island just a couple miles north of the Peter O. Knight Airport and the scenic Davis Island Beach. Thai Island is an adorable tropical bungalow-style restaurant that will make you feel as if you really are on an island somewhere on vacation in Thailand while you much away on amazing Thai food. This place serves some of the absolute best Thai seafood in Tampa Bay, if you ask us. The signature dishes here include delectable filets of snapper and catfish as well as soft-shell crab.

Conveniently located across the street from the Tampa Bay International Airport and the International Plaza and Bay Street Shopping Center, Thai Prime is perfect for when you’ve just stepped off of the plane or gotten done shopping and want a bite to eat. Located just north of Ybor Heights neighborhood, Bow Thai is a wonderful place to grab a quick bite to go, or sit down outside and enjoy your meal in their peaceful courtyard. They call it fast food here at Thai 5, but we assure you the quality is far beyond what you might think of when you hear those words because everything here is made fresh every day. This is our go-to Thai spot for a grab-n-go bite to eat because of how quick it is. Whenever we stop by, we grab their mind-blowing Thai Sausage Box with homemade sausage and a tangy papaya salad.

This next place, Thai Sweet Basil, is tucked away far up north in Tampa Bay just across the street from Northdale Park, but it is definitely worth going out of your way for. This restaurant knows Thai soups better than anyone else we can think of, offering everything from chicken rice soup to a seaweed soup and everything in between. The desserts are fantastic here, as well. We love their mango sticky rice and their Thai donuts the most.

Downtown Tampa Bay really has all of the best restaurants in the city, and Si-Am Thaimerican Restaurant is no exception to that rule. The atmosphere inside is gorgeous and perfect for a nice evening out, but they are open for lunch as well. We think their best characteristic here at Si-am is their huge list of stir fry options with things like cashew nuts, garlic and black pepper, eggplant with basil, and many more.

Sawatdee Thai Cuisine is located near Uptown Tampa just east of the University of South Florida and the Museum of Science and Industry. This restaurant is a must-visit spot when you’re looking for Tampa Bay Thai food because their menu is absolutely massive, so you are almost guaranteed to find something you’ll love. They are known here for their pad thai which we thought was phenomenal, but all of their other menu items are bound to leave you satisfied, too.
