Number one on our list of creative breweries in Tampa is Coppertail Brewing Co. and they are located on the corner of Causeway Boulevard and Visconti Boulevard near the beautiful Desoto Park
This is a great place to go for a tour of a craft brewery in Tampa Bay with all kinds of craft beer in their tap rooms and see how the sausage gets made, so to speak.
The tours are about 30-45 minutes long and they include various craft beer tastings during the tour and a souvenir pint to take home at the end, all for just $7.50! Not too bad for a fun experience at one of the most popular breweries in Tampa!!

Next up is Cigar City Brewing, you can find them in Northwest Tampa off of West Spruce Street and North Grady Avenue in Downtown Tampa and they are easily one of our favorite breweries in Tampa Bay, perfect for a brewery tour.
They are probably most well-known for their delicious IPA called Jai Alai⸺named after the Spanish sport⸺ that’s perfect for IPA-lovers who prefer strong notes of orange peel citrus and various hops, but they have several other tantalizing options to choose from that you’re going to love, too.

Hidden Springs Ale Works is an amazing craft brewery with a beautiful tasting room, in our opinion, and they’re located in the North Franklin Street Historic District off of East Henderson Avenue and North Franklin Street.
They have incredible beers on tap that are brewed on-site here at Hidden Springs, including sour ales, imperial stouts, American wheat beers, dark pastry lagers, German-style lagers, IPAs, and even hard seltzers! They really brew it all here, so come and check it out and you’ll see why they’re one of our favorite breweries in Tampa!

Located off of East Emma Street and North Nebraska Avenue in the heart of the Southeast Seminole Heights neighborhood, Southern Brewing and Winery serves amazing brews like wheat beer and honey ale in a laid-back atmosphere, and they are one of our favorite breweries in Tampa.
Besides the many hand-crafted, delicious beers on tap to choose from, what we love most about this craft brewery is their huge arrangement of outdoor seating to enjoy when the weather outside is nice, as well as a huge tasting room.
Looking to get into homebrewing your own craft beer? Southern Beer and Winery is also a premium homebrew and winemaking supply store and they’ve got what you need.

You can find 7venth Sun off of North Nebraska Avenue in the Seminole Heights neighborhood, just east of Zoo Tampa at Lowry Park, so it’s a perfect destination after a day of hanging out with giraffes and tigers.

Next on the list of our favorite Tampa breweries is a place called The Pint and Brew, fittingly, and you can find them in our absolute favorite part of Tampa, Downtown, just next to the famous Tampa Riverwalk.
Sample local craft beers from all over Florida here at The Pint and Brew in their intimate tasting room, perfect for mingling with everyone around you while enjoying a local IPA and some delicious food, like pizza, mac and cheese, and countless varieties of sandwiches.

Tampa Bay Brewing Company is one of the most creative breweries in Tampa that takes the name right from the city of its origins, and you can find them off of East 8th Avenue inside Centro Ybor in the heart of the Tampa Bay area.
They specialize in craft beers and beer-infused foods here at Tampa Bay Brewing Company, as well as a massive outdoor patio, tasting room, and bar that hosts live music on most Friday evenings.
Our favorite thing to order from Tampa Bay Brewing Company is their cheese and ale dip that comes with some fresh ciabatta bread for dipping.

You can find this next place, Angry Chair Brewing, off of North Florida Avenue and East Fern Street in the Seminole Heights neighborhood, and we think they’re one of the best places in the Tampa Bay area to get a beer thanks to their huge tasting room.
They have all sorts of craft beers like imperial sweet stouts, American pale ales, imperial milk stouts, American strong ales, imperial porters, imperial IPAs, and so many more that you’ll just have to come down to Angry Chair craft brewery and try every single one for yourself in their tasting room.

Zydeco Brew Werks is one of the best breweries in Tampa Bay and they’re located right off of East 7th Avenue and North 19th Street, just south of the state museum.
Be on the lookout for the industrial-chic red-brick building that houses all that fine Zydeco Brew Werks beer and head in its direction if you’re looking for delicious craft brews.
They offer live music here at Zydeco, as well as the option to rent out the tasting room space for parties, or even have them come to you and cater your special event, so this is the perfect brewery for all of your special occasion needs that require great beer.

Next up is BarrieHaus Beer Co. and we think they are easily one of Tampa’s best local breweries when it comes to the impressive variety of innovative beers they offer on tap.
Look for BarrieHaus craft brewery off of East 5th Avenue and North Avenida Republica de Cuba when you’re in Ybor City, and be sure to try out their Big Pluckin’ Pils German pilsner beer, their gold medal winner of 2020.

Right on the corner of East Kay Street and North Florida Avenue in the North Franklin Street Historic District, Magnanimous Brew sits as one of the best craft beer breweries in Tampa and isn’t showing any signs of going anywhere.
Not only do they brew delicious beer here at Magnanimous, but they also offer their own line of Magnanimous Coffee that is sure to give you that pep in your step early in the morning when you need it.

Bay Cannon Beer Company is one of the Tampa Bay area’s nicest breweries and they’re located off of West Main Street and North Albany Avenue in the Old West Tampa neighborhood.
We love the massive tap list that they offer here at Bay Cannon Beer Company because it includes all of our favorite kinds of beer like New England IPAs, blonde ales, sour beers, American stouts, American pale wheat beers, porters, hard seltzers, and so many more in their tap room.

Woven Water Brewing Company is located off of West Columbus Drive and North Boulevard in the Ridgewood Park district, and we think they are one of Tampa’s greatest breweries.
Hard seltzers, imperial stouts, fruited sours, IPAs, hefeweizens, and so many more beers to choose from will have you wanting to spend every weekend here at Woven Water Brewing Company until you’ve tried them all!

This next place is called Cigar City Cider and Mead and they’re located off of North 15th Street and East 8th Avenue in the bustling, historic Ybor City, and we think they are one of the most fun local breweries in Tampa Bay.
Ciders and meads are delicious and fruity, yet they can be brewed to pack quite a punch. Our favorite cider that we have tried here at Cigar City is their peach cider, and the best mead, in our opinion, is the blackberry mead.

Last, but not least, is Bootleggers Brewing Company, located on the corner of Causeway Boulevard and Visconti Boulevard, and we think they are definitely one of the best breweries in Tampa.
Their beer, cider, and wine list is constantly changing and updating with new flavors and brews to try, so be sure to check their website frequently or stop in regularly for a beer. They even have 32-ounce and 64-ounce growlers for sale, too!
Final Thoughts
Craft beer is one of the things that the breweries Tampa Bay know best if you ask us, and this list proves that the city is filled with amazing breweries pumping out some really delicious brews.
