It’s also not too far from the Landmark Society of Western New York. The perfect sushi bar is Keep it Rollin if you’re ordering a party platter or heading out for a party or group dinner. This place offers the ultimate menu for everything you could ever want in a sushi restaurant, with raw and cooked sushi rolls, nigiri, combination plates, and vegan options. I found the dining space laid back, and the staff was very accommodating and efficient. You can also order online in advance if you’re planning a family event or want to ensure your meal is ready when you arrive. It’s a terrific place to enjoy a tasty meal for any palate.

It’s not far from the Lilac Adventure Zone and Highland Park.  It’s rated one of the top sushi places in Rochester, New York.  This restaurant features freshly prepared sushi and sashimi dishes, with a Latin influence infused in the café’s menu. You’ll enjoy some of the best sushi Rochester has to offer with friendly, efficient staff and decadent servings with layers of flavor and spices. If you plan on visiting this casual, takeout sushi spot, I recommend the Thrasher Plate, a solid favorite among locals and regulars. The Dominican rolls, poke bowl and pork dumplings are also popular orders. All meals are prepared fresh and offered at affordable prices.

The diner is quaint but classy, offering just a few tables. However, it’s a worthwhile place to visit for quality crunchy rolls, salmon teriyaki, and excellent lunch specials under ten dollars. It’s a great place to try a different dish on every visit! Shema Sushi opened in 2007 and has become a local gem in the city, especially among students. It’s a great place to enjoy sake, beer, and traditional Japanese dishes served in a sushi bar.

I especially enjoy the ramen soup and wonton chips as an appetizer. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I never felt rushed at all and felt welcome as soon as I entered the bar. Maru Sushi and Ramen Bar offers chef specials, which I recommend considering before you place an order. This restaurant offers online orders for takeout and delivery, which is perfect for birthday parties and family events.

It’s near Genesee Gateway Park and not too far away from the Sunken Garden.  This incredible restaurant showcases the talent of chef Hamilton, who creates a Japanese fusion of ramen, poke bowls, and omakase-style dishes. It’s the perfect place to visit if you’re driving through town and looking for decent cocktails and fantastic cuisine. Poke Sushi offers a great atmosphere and engaging bartenders and service. The ramen bowls are top-notch, and my suggestion if you’re new to this place. It’s one of the top sushi bars to enjoy in Rochester and a place you’ll want to return for regular fare.

The café features authentic Japanese cuisine prepared by chef Tanaka from Hokkaido, offering an exceptional culinary experience with every order. He brought over ten years of experience to Shiki when the sushi bar opened in 2004. The restaurant is very casual, with a small dining room and curbside pickup service. The teriyaki and tempura are excellent and strongly recommended with sake or Japanese beer. It’s a great spot to order dinner on the way home.

The dining is casual and ideal for takeout.

The main highlight of this restaurant is the excellent hibachi dishes, and I found the appetizer selection impressive. Sumo Japanese Sushi and Hibachi is a beautiful place to book your next dinner outing. You’ll find the dining experience a blend of classy and cozy. There is also an abundant variety of vegan and vegetarian fare.

They make all their meals with fresh ingredients and quality food. It’s a casual, affordable place to enjoy lunch on the go or dinner with family.

One of the best features of this steak house is the incredible house special rolls and the fantastic prepared-to-order meals. Sogo Sushi and Hibachi source fresh fish and seafood from around the world, so you’ll always get a high-grade dish every time you visit.
