Phoenix is the fifth-largest and fastest-growing city in the United States. Despite the city’s massive population, Phoenix’s vast desert leaves room for locals and visitors to live harmoniously. Pedal Haus Brewery
730 S Mill Ave #102, Tempe, AZ 85281
This well-acclaimed restaurant simplifies fine dining by serving high-quality ingredients in a laid-back environment. Located on Arizona State University’s beloved Mill Avenue, the brewery is just west of Centerpoint on Mill. An ASU alum himself–Owner Julian Wright, opened Pedal Haus hoping to capture the essence of European craft beers. With the help of Arizona’s notorious brewer, Derek Osborne, the restaurant quickly gained recognition as the best brewery in the United States.
Pedal Haus’ Day Drinker is frequently recommended and has received the most awards. I paired the light lager with a white truffle mushroom pizza, and both went down a little too easily. Whether you’re an Arizona local or vacationer, Pedal Haus is the perfect place to throw a fun-filled party. Fill out this form, and a representative will call you.
4455 E Camelback Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018
Ask any local their favorite spots, and they’ll list The Henry. The luxurious feeling restaurant is in The Park business center off 44th street and Camelback. Equipped with a full-service coffee shop, bar, and restaurant–there’s something for everyone. Upon entering, you’ll instantly feel like you’re in a warm, fun-filled dining room straight out of the twenties.
While most come for the atmosphere, they stay for the menu! I visited during brunch and ordered a delicious midday giddyup–a sweet vodka coffee cocktail. When it comes to food, you can’t go wrong! But my personal favorite is the refreshing Harvest Bowl. Whether you’re visiting for the food or the environment, one of The Henry’s five private event spaces will elevate your next celebration.
2201 E Camelback Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85016
Manned by Chef Bernie Kantak, The Gladly is an upscale restaurant and whiskey bar situated on the southeast corner of 22nd Street and Camelback. Kantak was nominated for best Southwest chef by the James Beard Foundation and has even shared his creative dishes at the New York James Beard House. Kantak descends from generations of excellent cooks, and this is apparent in The Gladly’s cuisine.
Warm melted bone marrow butter accompanies the filet mignon–my personal favorite. You’ll also be delighted to know The Gladly has over 285 whiskey choices. The restaurant’s lavish menu is great for group dining. You can choose from two private rooms, four menus, and even add on a drink package.
Phoenix City Grille
5816 N 16th St, Phoenix, AZ 85016
The city’s beloved Phoenix City Grille is inside the Bethany East Shopping Center on the southwest corner of 16th Street and Bethany Home Road. Led by the accomplished Chef Micah Wyzlic, the luxurious yet laid-back restaurant is notorious for using locally-sourced fresh ingredients.
The Rose Lane Chicken served with local organic broccolini is a fan favorite and an entree I can vouch for! It paired perfectly with the Grille’s take on an old fashion. The restaurant’s quality ingredients and extensive drink menu make it a go-to spot for special occasions. In recognition of this, the restaurant provides personalized lighting, sound, and temperature control, an event coordinator, and customized menus for each private party.

2625 W Queen Creek Rd, Chandler, AZ 85286
Located in a suburb just outside Phoenix, CHop is in Chandler’s affluent Downtown Ocotillo neighborhood off Queen Creek and Dobson Road. The casually upscale restaurant is Chandler’s first locally-owned steakhouse and grill, immediately establishing it as a highly-recommended dining experience in the suburb. The American steakhouse serves burgers, bone-in steaks, ribs, fish, and much more!
During my visit, my party and I started with mouth-watering wagyu meatballs, moved on to a mesquite-grilled surf and turf, then ended with some impressively creative cocktails. I highly recommend booking one of CHoP Chandler’s private rooms if you and your friends need a quiet getaway from the bustling city.

Cook’s frequently hosts private parties, offering a three and four-course menu.
Southern Rail Restaurant
300 W Camelback Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85013
Southern Rail is in uptown Phoenix’s The Newton off 3rd Avenue and Camelback. This laid-back restaurant serves up American food and southern hospitality every Wednesday through Sunday. Before opening Southern Rail, well-known Chef Justin Beckett and certified-sommelier Scott Stephens’ explored America’s southern cuisine in hopes of bringing it to Arizona, eventually resulting in this uptown gem.
Beckett’s creative cooking combined with Stephens’ vast wine knowledge makes a remarkable combination. And if you were wondering, yes, southern cuisine pairs well with Arizona wines. My favorite is the signature fried chicken and whatever wine my server recommends! Make one of the best restaurants in Phoenix the location of your next celebration. Southern Rail offers a private room or semi-private patio experience.
Galeto Brazilian Steakhouse
825 N 54th St, Chandler, AZ 85226
Galeto is in The Shoppes at Casa Paloma off Ray Road and 54th Street in Chandler. The upscale steakhouse aims to transport guests to a classic culinary experience in Brazil and do so through a highly-trained staff. First, your server will gather your appetizer and drink orders, recommending a wine that pairs well with your meal. They will also answer any questions you have along the way.
Next, your server will bring out varying beef, pork, lamb, and chicken cuts. I thoroughly enjoyed the classic Picanha–a top sirloin cut. However, I highly recommend sampling as many cuts as you can for an authentic taste of Brazil. Galeto’s luxurious cuisine is perfect for all celebrations, whether it be a birthday or wedding. Groups can choose from two private rooms.

As if the property’s natural beauty and breathtaking architecture aren’t enough, it’s also home to an acclaimed eatery.
Geordie’s Restaurant and Lounge crafts locally-sourced seasonal dishes and carries over 1200 bottles of wine. Their award-winning wine program has been featured on Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wine Restaurants and granted the Award of Excellence. The elegant dining room offers views of Phoenix’s boundless desert and bright city. The seasoned Chef Anthony DeMuro pilots the 31 times AAA Four-Diamond winning kitchen. His love for local ingredients and admiration for Mediterranean techniques result in unmatched American cuisine.
In my opinion, the truffle-grilled filet mignon is amongst the best DeMuro has to offer, but nothing I’ve ordered has left me with regret. Each dish is symbolic of the kitchen’s love for hospitality. If you desire a true fine dining experience that will wow your guests, Different Pointe of View is the place for you.
