The eatery is a few blocks south of Westminster Presbyterian Church and a couple of blocks north of Grace Memorial Episcopal Church.
The upscale restaurant serves multiple different cuisines, providing both American, Mexican, and Asian-inspired dishes.
Blossoming Lotus includes many plant-based meals with quality ingredients.
My favorite dishes are the Thai wrap and a side of fingerling potatoes.
I also recommend trying any of their smoothies like the very berry smoothie.
You will surely love the plant-based, organic ingredients in all these delightful meals.
Cartopia

The Cartopia eatery stands on the corner of SE Hawthorne Boulevard and SE 12th Avenue.
You’ll find the Cartopia stand a few blocks east of Helium Comedy Club and right by the Wild Sweets Chocolate Factory.
The eatery involves a large tent with several food trucks.
The Cartopia food trucks provide a fun and casual environment.
The laidback place provides a variety of foods, ranging from Mexican and Middle Eastern cuisine to American fare, desserts, and brunch.
Personally, my favorite orders were the burgers with french fries and the pad Thai plates.
You’ll also enjoy trying the gyros from food trucks serving Middle Eastern foods.
Flying Fish Company LLC

The Flying Fish Company LLC sits near the corner of E Burnside Street and SE 30th Avenue.
The restaurant is only a few blocks away from Laurelhurst Park and about six blocks south of Oregon Park here in Portland.
After spending the day visiting the parks, grab some lunch or dinner outdoors at the Flying Fish Company LLC.
The casual restaurant serves tasty seafood like oysters and shrimp kebabs.
A few of my favorite dishes here include the poke bowls, a smoked salmon platter, and the savory salmon burger.
When choosing a poke bowl, you can pick Wild Alaskan fish, Sockeye Salmon fish, or Wild Oregon Tuna.
Güero

You’ll find the Güero restaurant on the corner of NE 28th Avenue and NE Davis Street.
The eatery is down the street from the ice cream shop Staccato Gelato and east of the Everett Community Garden.
The trendy eatery has a laidback environment serving delicious Mexican-style dishes.
The restaurant was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives as well as Bon Appetit and The Oregonian.
Some of the best dishes that I enjoyed include the carnitas and the pollo pibil.
I also recommend the lime rice on the side. The Mexican Coca-Cola was a sweet drink to finish with my meal.
Lardo

In Portland, you can find Lardo in two possible locations with one on the west side and one on the east side.
Lardo is a unique and trendy sandwich shop that first began as a food truck in September 2010.
Since then, chef and owner Rick Gencarelli expanded the business.
It’s grown over time to take on as many as four locations.
Some of the best sandwiches served here are the turkey Cubano sandwich and the Nashville hot fried chicken sandwich.
You can have any of these sandwiches served with fries and a large chocolate chip cookie for dessert.

The Laurelhurst Market consists of both a steakhouse and a local butcher shop.
It stands on the corner of NE 32nd Avenue and E Burnside Street.
It’s also very close to Laurelhurst Park.
The Brassworks Gallery sits a few blocks north of the eatery, so you can go there to check out some local artwork.
The outstanding and upscale restaurant serves a range of different steaks for dinner and tasty sandwiches for lunch.
My favorite dishes included the griddled cornbread, the summer melons and cherry tomatoes salad, and the grilled hanger steak.
For dessert, I enjoyed the chocolate chip and hazelnut cookie.
McMenamins

The McMenamins restaurants, pubs, and bars provide a wonderful outdoor dining experience in multiple Portland locations.
You can also grab take-out here and a variety of spirits, wines, ales, and ciders.
The trendy eateries include plenty of unique artwork and decor.
When I visited the McMenamins Barley Mill Pub, I found colorful art adorning its walls.
The Barley Mill Pub first opened in 1983 and has become one of the most popular dining spots in Portland.
I liked their gyros with Greek chicken and a side of McMenamins fries.
If you’re looking for a tasty cocktail, try the lemon drop.
Mirisata

The Mirisata eatery sits right by the Radius Art Studio and amid a restaurant scene.
The neighborhood has several bars and taverns as well as the Pad Thai Kitchen and a brunch place.
Down the street, you’ll find Colonel Summers Park and public tennis courts.
Mirisata serves authentic Sri Lankan cuisine.
The casual outdoor dining experience left me satisfied, as the food was absolutely delicious.
The top dishes I enjoyed included plant-based polo cutlets and meatball curry.
For dessert, I enjoyed the Marie biscuit pudding.
You can also grab a brunch of a Sri Lankan-style Just Egg scramble.
Noble Rot

The Noble Rot restaurant sits a few blocks south of Buckman Field Park, which includes a tennis court and a soccer field.
The eatery is also close to several shops like the TOTL Games video game store.
The upscale restaurant provides a wonderful outdoor dining experience.
The Noble Rot first opened in May 2002.
In 2018, the James Beard Foundation nominated Noble Rot as a semi-finalist for its outstanding wine program.
My favorite foods at Noble Rot include the burrata, the King Salmon dish, and the chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream for dessert.

The Nostrana restaurant sits on the corner of SE 14th Avenue and SE Alder Street.
The Italian eatery is right in a residential neighborhood with apartment buildings down the street.
The suburban neighborhood also has the Plaid Pantry convenience store and the Holocene music venue nearby.
The upscale restaurant shows off a lit-up and attractive outdoor dining area.
You can even book a private event at Nostrana.
When I came here, I loved trying the Blue Truck butter lettuce salad, the wood-oven roasted Idaho trout, and the blackberry tart for dessert.

You can visit the Screen Door eatery in two different Portland locations with one on the East Side and the other in Pearl District.
The casual and colorful restaurant serves both brunch and dinner.
When I visited the Screen Door on the East Side, I had a delicious fruit plate and bananas foster French toast for brunch.
I also enjoyed a side of two eggs over-easy and bacon.
A small mimosa was also a perfect drink for brunch.
The dinner choices here have more substantial meals of pork ribs, a seafood jambalaya, or fried chicken.
Tin Shed Garden Cafe

The suburban neighborhood includes various shops and eateries like Terrel Brandon’s Barber Shop and Bamboo Sushi.
The outdoor dining experience here is perfect, as the staff provides a friendly and fun time while serving delicious, quality food.
My favorite dishes here were the classic burger served with roasted red potatoes for lunch and the Everything Nice scrambled eggs with sourdough French toast for breakfast.
The lemonade made a nice drink to go along with my lunch.
Two Wrongs Portland

You can find Two Wrong Portland near the corner of NW Hoyt Street and NW 13th Avenue.
The eatery sits right by a 24 Hour Fitness center with a sauna and indoor lap pool.
You’ll also see the Arts Academy, a film production company, nearby as well as numerous residential areas. Two Wrongs Portland is a fun and trendy bar and cocktail lounge.
When I came here, I enjoyed trying the Baja-style fish taco and the steak burrito with Mexican rice, pico de gallo, and pinto beans.
For drinks, I suggest trying the Lime in the Coconut cocktail.
Victoria Bar

Victoria Bar sits on the corner of N Humboldt Street and N Albina Avenue.
Nearby, you will see Luke’s Frame Shop and numerous houses in the suburban neighborhood.
A few blocks away, you’ll see Jefferson High School and its baseball field.
When visiting the casual and laidback Victoria Bar, you’ll love bringing your pup for the outdoor dining experience, as the eatery has a large, dog-friendly patio.
The best dishes at Victoria Bar include the andouille sausage Victoria bowl and the house burger with Angus beef.
I especially loved the crumbly cornbread that came with the Victoria bowl.
Salty’s on the Columbia River

You will adore the outdoor dining experience at Salty’s on the Columbia River.
The waterfront restaurant provides gorgeous views of boats and the river.
You might also want to spend the day relaxing at the Broughton Beach Park before grabbing dinner at Salty’s on the Columbia River.
The upscale eatery has tons of delicious food.
My favorite dishes include the crabcake and prawn cocktail for the appetizers.
I also enjoyed King Salmon with baby red potatoes and broccolini for the main meal.
