Pittsburgh is a historic gem in the northeast with plenty of historical landmarks and museums that span American history from Point State Park with structures dating back to the 18th century to Mr. Roger’s set on Sesame Street at the Heinz History Center.

Pittsburgh also has a large student and academic population with the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon being two of 19 colleges and universities in the city. Where it was once a blue-collar industrial city, Pittsburgh now is at the forefront of the tech industry, its old factory spaces converted into a bustling business and cultural district.
Large populations of students and professionals require a restaurant scene to fuel their endeavors and host their celebrations. Whether you’re celebrating a graduation or planning a work holiday party, there are various restaurants with private rooms to host any kind of special occasion.
I spent my last trip to the city of bridges exploring the best options for private dining in Pittsburgh and found a variety of restaurants with beautiful spaces and delicious food to make your special occasion extra special.
Read on to explore my list of restaurants with the best private dining in Pittsburgh to start planning your party.
