Customers rave about Chef Alexander Yoon’s creative flavor combinations, and many recommend going on Sunday for their $48 tasting menu.

The restaurant’s decor is elegant and modern, with a touch of coastal charm. The ambiance is cozy and relaxed, making it a perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends.
As for the cuisine, Pearl’s Oyster Bar specializes in fresh seafood, with a menu that includes everything from raw bar favorites like oysters and clams to seafood entrees like lobster rolls and grilled octopus.
I particularly enjoyed the New England Clam Chowder and the Lobster Bisque during my trip. Pearl’s Oyster Bar is a must-visit spot for seafood lovers visiting Philadelphia.

Located in Comcast Technology Center, near Logan Square, Vernick Fish is a seafood-focused sister restaurant to the popular Vernick Food & Drink.
The interior is sleek and modern, with a raw bar at the center and large windows that let in plenty of natural light. The atmosphere is lively but not overly loud, perfect for group gatherings.
They always use fresh, high-quality ingredients, with their standout dishes including the Tuna Tartare with avocado and King Salmon Crudo with lime, mint, and roasted pineapple.
Yum! Overall, Vernick Fish offers a refined yet approachable take on seafood, with something for everyone on the menu.

Bloomsday is a charming restaurant located within ten minutes of Rittenhouse Square.
The interior is cozy, with warm lighting and beautiful artwork on the walls, giving it a welcoming and relaxed vibe.
The cuisine is their spin on Philadelphia comfort food with an emphasis on locally-sourced ingredients. Bloomsday is a great spot for a casual brunch or a cozy dinner.
I love their Fish & Chips, made with fresh, flaky vodka-battered hake and crispy fries.
Highly-requested dishes include the octopus garlic sauce, the grilled razor clams, pan-seared trout with chili pistachio butter, orange, crispy potatoes, and fennel slaw.
Bloomsday is one of my favorite places to go when I’m in the city.

If you’re willing to make a trip outside of the city, The Clam Tavern in Clifton Heights has been serving up quality clams and seafood since the ‘60s.
This laid-back seafood bar is small and cozy, but if you can’t get a table then their sister restaurant, The Broadway Bar & Grille, is right across the street and serves the same menu.
Regulars recommend the clams casino or baked clams, but you can’t go wrong with any of their menu items.

Bonk’s Bar is an upbeat gastropub near the Delaware Expressway that offers good vibes, great drinks, and plenty of crab dishes!
I always love taking a trip there when I’m in town because they have excellent service, the freshest crab, and you’re guaranteed a good time.
They offer many variations of their famous crab, from the Crab Cake Sandwich to the Crab Fries, the Garlic Crab, and more.
Though crab is my favorite, I particularly enjoyed the Sea Bass and the Bonk’s Seafood Boil when I visited this restaurant.
You won’t be disappointed; they definitely have some of the best seafood in Philadelphia!

Kensington Quarters is in the Fishtown neighborhood, a few blocks from the Fillmore Philadelphia. They have a raw bar as well as an extensive selection of seafood dishes to choose from.
It has an industrial feel, as it is a repurposed warehouse with plenty of space and high ceilings.
They collaborate with fishermen, farmers, and others that help them achieve their goals of offering only the highest-quality ingredients.
Some of their best dishes are the Littleneck Clams with ginger scallion sauce, the Uni Carbonara, or the Swordfish Katsu.
No matter what seafood dish you choose, you can be sure that Kensington Quarters will deliver a delicious and memorable dining experience.

Sid Booker’s Shrimp Corner is a casual seafood spot located in the Port Richmond neighborhood, situated near the Stenton Recreation Center.
The decor is simple, and there’s a walk-up window, but the real winner is the family-friendly atmosphere.
Sid Booker’s menu focuses on shrimp, which locals and tourists alike can’t get enough of. The menu is pretty basic, but they do it so well that you don’t mind at all once you get that succulent shrimp basket with crispy fried shrimp.
You can get it breaded or unbreaded, and they have delicious sides of macaroni salad, cole slaw, and fries that are seasoned to perfection.

The Olde Bar is a historic seafood restaurant just a short walk from Independence Hall. The decor is both classic and contemporary, featuring a beautiful oyster bar and a stunning dining room that exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere.
They have some of the best seafood in Philadelphia, all made with fresh ingredients.
The menu here features a variety of options, including raw bar favorites like oysters and clams, as well as classic seafood dishes such as the Lobster Roll and Shrimp and Grits.
My absolute favorites are the Lobster Risotto and the Crab Fingers, but almost everyone I know loves their Crab Cakes. Notably, you get sweet jumbo lump crab meat served with a Meyer lemon aioli.
