The truth is, though, tickets to sporting events can be costly and require a lot of advance planning to attend.

What if you could catch the big game while still having a night out on the town? Well, you can! Philadelphia has an elite sports bar scene, giving you the best of both worlds.

Don’t be turned off by its exterior, though, because Garage has over 150 beers, a host of cocktails and a lively atmosphere that makes for a perfect sports viewing experience.

You can even BYOF (Bring Your Own Food!), or grab a cheesesteak from Pat’s or Geno’s right outside!

If you’re closer to North Philly, Garage Fishtown is also a great place to catch the game.

Like XFINITY Live! Chickie’s & Petes is a household name in the Philadelphia sports bar scene, located a stone’s throw from the Sports Complex.

Famous for their crinkle-cut “Crabfries” made with crab seasoning and served with a white cheese sauce on the side, Chickie’s & Pete’s Crabfries pair perfectly with their traditional bar fare and extensive drink menu.

Founding Fathers Sports Bar & Grill

1612 South St. Philadelphia, PA
Phone: 267-519-0253

The Founding Fathers were visionaries, but not even they could’ve anticipated having a sports bar named after them on Philadelphia’s South Street.

With 13 TV’s and 20 beer taps, Founding Fathers provides a slightly more upscale experience than some of the other places on this list.

The food is top-notch too, so you won’t want to miss the action at Founding Fathers!
