The seasonal dishes are complex in flavor and consist of luxurious ingredients that come together to create delicious meals.

My favorites from the menu are the Casarecce, Grilled Quail, and the Meyer Lemon Semifreddo. You also have the option to enjoy a full wine and cocktail pairing with your meal. It’s an excellent experience that I highly recommend!

This sophisticated eatery sets the stage for a memorable and romantic dining experience. 

The menu is ever-evolving, and it highlights seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. During my visit, I enjoyed the Potato Leek Soup with chive oil, pickled peppercorns, sunchokes, the Green Goddess Salad, and the Dry-Aged Burger.

It was a truly phenomenal meal with impeccable service. I can see why Fork has garnered praise from patrons and critics alike!

Barclay Prime doesn’t disappoint with the prime cuts of beef, expertly prepared and grilled to perfection.

Sink your teeth into their signature Wagyu Filet Mignon or any of their mouthwatering seafood dishes. Complemented by an extensive wine list, Barclay Prime offers an excellent way to unwind in the evening.

The restaurant celebrates the flavors and versatility of vegetables. I loved the Rutabaga Fondue, but my favorite was the Smoked Portobello Carpaccio. I didn’t expect to enjoy myself so much at a meatless establishment, but it was wonderful!  

With ever-changing menus, you can expect delightful surprises every visit. The Vedge Bar also has an enticing selection of cold dishes and vegetable charcuterie.

The commitment to seasonal ingredients extends to the dessert and happy hour menus as well. The beverage menus boast an impressive array of natural wines sourced from around 70 esteemed producers, alongside craft beers and an inventive cocktail list.

The restaurant’s dedication to using high-quality ingredients and expert craftsmanship shines through in every bite. I suggest trying the Pitchers and Paellas special as well!

This historic inn provides an idyllic setting for romantic dining. Valley Green Inn specializes in American cuisine, featuring a menu celebrating seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. 

My favorite dishes are the Goat Cheese Empanadas, the Lobsters Bisque, and any of the shared plates. There’s always a special going on, and brunch is available as well.

The food is bursting with flavor and freshness. Whether you enjoy a cozy dinner by the fireplace or a leisurely meal on their outdoor patio, guests are treated to breathtaking views. 


Jean-Georges

Jean-Georges is an exquisite restaurant located in the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel near Logan Square.

The decor is elegant, with ceiling-to-floor windows, dim lighting, a dramatic backdrop, and sleek furnishings.

Jean-Georges is the most luxurious option on the list, from my experience, and I can’t recommend it enough for a romantic evening. 

You can indulge in the four or six-course tasting menu, with crowd favorites like the Steamed Black Sea Bass, the Masai Sashimi, the Parmesan Crusted Chicken, and many other options.

The food is terrific, the service is excellent, and the drinks are delightful. This is one of my favorite places to go when I visit Philly if I want intimacy with exquisite food and wine.
