Another great barbecue spot in Ambler, Philadelphia is The Lucky Well. This restaurant actually double as a music venue serving barbecue and cocktails. With over 600 reviews, it’s clear this is a popular spot.
The Lucky Well hosts The Live Blues Supper Club every Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. This event involves live music and a three course meal for $60 per person. You can also order from their a la carte menu, but a $10 cover charge per person will be added to your check!

Looking for a spot that’s a bit more upscale? Head over to la Provence. Serving French cuisine in a world-class restaurant, this is a spot you won’t want to miss. With excellent service and happy guests as their top priorities, you can count on having a wonderful experience here.
With a menu of amazing traditional French dishes, everyone will be able to find something they’ll love. Try out the confit de canard, truite amandine, poulet aux champignons sauvages, carre d’agneau, provencale. Make sure to have some crème brulée for dessert!

An additional spot that’s great for the music lovers out there is Gypsy Blu. Serving American cuisine and craft beer in a charming interior, this restaurant hosts live music. With outdoor seating as well, this is a great place no matter what the weather is like.
With a menu full of different flavors and innovative dishes, you’ll be able to find your new favorite meal here. We recommend the rotini pasta, the hot mess sandwich, shrimp tacos, or protein bowl. Be sure to grab a specialty cocktail to go with your meal!

Craving some Mexican cuisine? Swing by El Limon. This local restaurant was established in 2010 and serves authentic Mexican food at an affordable price and with efficient service. This spot is BYOB except for the complimentary margarita offered with your meal.
El Limon’s menu is complete with burritos, tacos, nachos, and every other Mexican dish you can think of. Be sure to try the shrimp enchiladas, al pastor burrito, asada quesadilla, or loaded nachos. Don’t forget to BYOB if you want to drink something else!

Searching for the perfect spot for date night? We recommend Vida & Comida. Serving authentic Spanish cuisine, this is another BYOB spot. Housed in a sleek and intimate interior space, this restaurant is great for quality time with a loved one.
This menu offers plenty of delicious dishes to try though many of them contain meat, so this isn’t the best spot for the vegetarians out there. Try out the paella marinera, pollo con setas, corvina, or chuleta de credo. Make sure to finish with some dessert!

Next time you’re in the mood for some Italian food, give From the Boot a try. Established in 1999, this restaurant has a dining room, full-service bar, and wine cellar. With hundreds of glowing reviews about the food, it’s no wonder this is a popular place.
Serving a wide variety of tasty Italian dishes, you may have a hard time deciding what to order. Be sure to try the chicken francese, gnocchi vodka, ravioli siciliano, or satueed steak sandwich. Don’t forget to grab a drink, too!

If you prefer wine with your dinner, you’re going to want to check out Dettera Restaurant & Wine Bar. This local restaurant serves New American cuisine from a seasonal menu as well as cocktails and a rotating wine list. What more could you want?
As the menu changes, this is a great spot to revisit as there will always be something new for you to taste. Try out the New Zealand rack of lamb, hand cut pappardelle, black mission fig and prosciutto flatbread, Scottish salmon. Make sure to enjoy some wine too, of course!

Rounding out our list of restaurants is another romantic spot perfect for anniversaries or just date night. Bridget’s Steakhouse has been open since 2004 and serves what the owner describes as extraordinary food.
Bridget’s Steakhouse offers a menu with entrees as well as appetizers and shareable plates so you and your guests can try a bit of everything. We recommend the au poivre cheesesteak, seafood pot, steamed dumplings, or crab cake. Be sure to order a drink with your meal like a cocktail or some wine!

If you’re in the mood for some barbecue, check out D&D’s Ribs. This local shop serves all of the barbecue you could ever want. Locals love the friendly service at this spot as well as the delicious food, some even claiming it’s the best in town.
D&D’s Ribs serves a straightforward menu with barbecue and sides. We recommend the brisket sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, spare ribs, mac and cheese, or baked beans and brisket. Be sure to grab some sweet potato pie, too!
