bellyofthepig

John K. is a voracious eater that will tackle any dish, whether it’s low brow or high. He’s been running his blog and Instagram since 2012 and he loves that Philly has all the variety of a NY but with a more localized approach.

Dim Sum Garden is a great, affordable option for date night, but be sure to check out Barbuzzo and Talula’s Garden! His website is www.bellyofthepig.com

phillyfoodladies

Rebecca Neckritz and Christina Mitchell run the Instagram account @phillyfoodladies. They started the blog during their freshman year at Temple University as a fun way to document their adventures eating across Philly, and never expected to grow this much!

Their top three fave restaurants? Becca picks Parc for the French onion soup, Barbuzzo for the papas fritas, and Yamitsuki for the shrimp tempura udon. Chris likes Vetri, Mac Mart, and Fiorella‘s cacio e pepe.

They especially love Philly’s happy hour scene and have been sampling as many as they can. There’s always something new to try in our city!

She loves the Philly food scene because it offers a ton of variety from Thai to Jamaican cuisine so Ethiopian to Columbian cuisine, Filipino to Italian cuisine. Philly has it all!
