Outdoor dining in Orlando is enjoyable with the year-round warm weather. Whether you prefer casual American cuisine or you’re looking for something fancier for date night, Orlando, Florida, has a lot of delicious outdoor dining spots.
Enjoy a cold beverage overlooking Lake Jennie Jewel or soak in the beautiful palm tree views with a juicy steak.
Orlando has outdoor dining options for everyone: a night out with friends, a romantic date night, or a late-night snack after visiting Florida’s theme parks.
Check out my list of the best outdoor dining in Orlando below!
Boxi Park Lake Nona
6877 Tavistock Lakes Blvd, Orlando, FL 32827
At Boxi Park Lake Nona, you will get delicious food, cold drinks, live entertainment, fresh air and outdoor views. The counter-serve restaurant is perfect for a night out with friends.
You can’t go wrong with any dish at this Michelin-rated experience. With a wide variety of cuisines available on-site, I loved exposing all my tastebuds to the different flavors of the world.
You can grab a taco with fresh guacamole at Canonita Street Taqueria or enjoy some fresh lobster at the Claw & Order spot.
It wouldn’t be a party without a long list of counter-serve bars with all your favorite beverages, including craft beers, cocktails, fine wines, veggie drinks, and much more!
Make sure you leave room for dessert because there’s an ice cream counter right on site. Your kids will love the on-site playground or if you’re kid-free for the night, join in on a game of beach volleyball.
Boxi Park Lake Nona is also dog friendly, they even have a fenced dog park where your pup can roam free!
10100 Dream Tree Blvd, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32836
Located within the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort, Capa is my favorite date night destination.
This Michelin-starred restaurant exceeds 17 floors over the beautiful city of Orlando. I’d recommend the Porterhouse steak for a meal you won’t forget.
Pair this with a Capa GinTonic, a refreshing drink made with only high-quality ingredients. For a truly once-in-a-lifetime dining experience, I’d recommend making reservations at Capa during the Disney firework display.
Watching the impressive fireworks show from the outdoor terrace was easily one of my favorite dining experiences in Orlando.
À La Cart
609 Irvington Ave, Orlando, FL 32803
Looking for a casual open air dining experience in Orlando? À La Cart is home to five mobile food vendors with a variety of dishes.
This Orlando spot is conveniently located in central Orlando, right off E. Colonial Drive. The menu at À La Cart is made up of street food, including the must-try shrimp avocado, and original falafels.
À La Cart is also perfect for craft beer drinkers with a rotating draft menu. The faux grass surrounded by palm trees is the perfect way to soak in Florida’s warmth and sunshine.
Café Tu Tu Tango
8625 International Dr, Orlando, FL 32819
Café Tu Tu Tango is a tasty Tapas restaurant in Orlando. It’s easy to access and sits right by Ripley’s Believe It or Not and Save & Busters on International Drive.
This restaurant focuses on a social dining experience with a menu of shared dishes. My favorite dishes here include avocado hummus and the stuffed piquillo peppers.
They offer pizza, tacos, sliders, and an expansive drink menu, as well. Café Tu Tu Tango is also a fantastic brunch spot with bottomless Bloody Marys and Mimosas weekly.
If you’re looking to stretch your budget while in Orlando, I’d recommend visiting Café Tu Tu Tango during Happy Hour.
It’s daily from Mon-Fri, 3-6 pm, and includes patio seating. You get discounts on food and drinks during Happy Hour.
Canvas Restaurant & Market
13615 Sachs Avenue, Orlando, FL 32827
Canvas Restaurant & Market is led by executive chef Jonathon Fahey. The menu is primarily Latin American and sources all its ingredients from local farmers.
This casual restaurant overlooks Lake Nona. I love the farmhouse salad for lunch or the fresh oven-roasted PEI mussels for dinner.
If you’re looking to try something unique, you won’t regret the Tandoori smoked carrots. Canvas Restaurant & Market is also worth trying for breakfast.
They make an irresistible handcrafted latte, and the freshly baked breakfast items are perfect for energizing before hitting Disney World.
1300 S Orlando Ave, Maitland, FL 32751
Looking for somewhere to relax and unwind after a busy day? Eden Bar is a local favorite located on Orlando Ave, inside the Enzian Theater.
The outdoor garden bar is perfect for capturing Instagram-worthy photos, and the menu is a must-try for all Orlando visitors.
This alfresco dining spot has daily food and drink specials, helping you stretch your travel budget further.
Of course, Eden Bar is great for entertainment too. There isn’t a better way to enjoy the food than by taking in an independent film.
Many of the menu items are shareable as Eden Bar focuses on a social experience. For example, you can order plates like the Enzian popcorn or ultimate nachos for the whole table to enjoy.
215 S Orlando Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789
The Hillstone Restaurant is an upscale outdoor dining spot that overlooks Lake Killarney in Orlando, Florida. Hillstone Restaurant is a must-visit for catching a Florida sunset.
The food, while delicious, is a second after the impressive sunsets the area offers. The menu includes mouthwatering burgers, sizzling chicken dishes, and house specialties like the ahi tuna tartare or the pan-roasted salmon.
Keep in mind that this spot is more formal, so you’ll have to ditch the flip-flops and shorts first. Then, after dinner, spend the evening unwinding, sitting on the deck area in a lakefront Adirondack chair with a glass of wine.
Looking for something more casual without giving up on food quality? Look no further than NYPD Pizza on Universal Blvd and Martin Andersen Beachline Expy.
This spot perfectly blends a traditional New York-style pizza with Arizona craft beers. NYPD Pizza has won over 30 “Best Of” awards, so they’re a must-try when in Orlando.
Bring a few friends to try the pizzas because they’re large. In fact, NYPD pizzas are 30% larger than traditional pizzas.
They use only the freshest ingredients, meaning whatever pizza you order is sure to become a favorite.
The Boathouse Orlando
1620 E Buena Vista Dr, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830
You can’t visit Orlando without trying the #1 rated restaurant in the area. The Boathouse Orlando is a popular seafood restaurant overlooking Lake Buena Vista, putting you right in the middle of all the Disney action.
After you enjoy a delicious meal, make sure you take an Amphicar tour. You won’t find anywhere else in the world where you can enjoy a car trip on top of the lake.
The Boathouse Orlando gets busy, but waiting for your table will fly as you take a stroll and check out the dream boat collection on-site.
Orlando, Florida, may not officially be the food capital of the world, but I’d argue that it’s a contender. This list of the best outdoor dining in Orlando will give you delicious foods, memorable experiences, and the opportunity to explore Orlando’s cuisines.
Orlando may be best-known for its theme parks and entertainment, but a trip to the area isn’t complete without experiencing some of the best outdoor dining spots. And if you’re craving vegan food, here are some hot spots to grab a delicious plant-based meal!
