Check out this Thai restaurant in Colonialtown North. It’s a relaxed spot with retro vibes, and it’s perfect if you want a laidback dining experience.

Thai House of Orlando is famous for traditional Thai cuisine, and the appetizers are some of the best in the city.

I like to start with the Thai spring rolls, a fresh appetizer with cabbage and onion. The chefs fry the rolls in oil, creating a crunchy bite, and drizzle them with decadent plum sauce.

Make sure to order Phad Thai, the national dish of Thailand. I also like the restaurant’s duck noodle soup, a lighter dish with vegetables.

The cuisine is traditional Thai, and the vibe is welcoming and charming.

I recommend the Phad Pong Karee, a house specialty and traditional Thai dish. It’s a curry-based meal with seafood, vegetables, and eggs, and I like to request a little bit of spice on my meat.

The house specialties come with Jasmine rice, but you can substitute brown rice. Add a classic Thai iced coffee to your meal, or sip a hot tea with hints of Jasmine.

The atmosphere is classy yet relaxed, and the spot is not far from the Orlando resorts.

I recommend ordering a sampler plate if it’s your first time at Ayothaya Thai. Try the house sampler with chicken satay, dumplings, spring rolls, and fried delicacies.

I like the summer rolls with house sauce, and you can order them with shrimp or seasonal vegetables. The cheesy crab rolls are also fantastic.

Napasorn Thai is an upscale, family-owned restaurant with a rich history. The restaurant is on E Pine St and S Magnolia Ave, near Lake Eola, and it’s perfect for vegans and meat-eaters alike.

The vibe is classy yet comfortable, and it’s in the heart of Downtown Orlando. The chefs draw inspiration from their family’s traditions, and you’ll see Thai classics and fresh new options on the menu.

I enjoyed the fried wontons when I last visited the restaurant. They also have excellent ground pork with traditional Thai spices, fresh shrimp, and sweet and sour sauce.

The garlic and pepper fish plate is another favorite of mine.
